Start Fresh...

It's never too late.

Occasionally we come to a point where we are not satisfied by our past
accomplishments or what we have done with our lives.

This is the time to take a big look at where we have come from and
where we want to go and not be overly concerned with our past.

We have the ability to switch gears and change course, no matter where
we are in our lives.

Colonel Sanders started "Fresh" in his 60's to create the famed KFC
restaurant chain, so if you think it's to late for a fresh start -
think again.

There is only so much relaxing...

...you can do.

Work demands focus and energy and must be balanced out by rest, so the
more work you do, the more rest you need.

And when no work is being done - extended periods of relaxation soon
becomes laziness.

Because nothing much happens on the edge of your sofa.

We all make Mistakes...

It's OK, we're human, but the deal is that we need to "own it".

Passing the buck, shifting the blame, and being the victim are all
really cute ideas but don't really handle the situation, although some
think they do.

Oh, and the masters of the one's who don't "own" their mistakes create
all sorts of drama in a weak attempt to divert attention somewhere else.

We need to all remember that mistakes happen - we need to just "own it"

  • apologize - learn from it, and move on - that's what Winners do.

Have you ever had...

One of those days where you just don't feel "Top Notch"?

It may be because we are a little sick, or haven't slept too well or
maybe that rare occasion where you stayed out a little too late
enjoying a celebration or party where you may of been over served?

...And instead of feeling like a Million bucks - you feel like a Ten Dollar Bill?

Well, have no fear - our bodies are a self healing machine...it just may not feel like it.

Do we like our Life?

I sure hope so, for it's the only one we got.

Pondering the question of "Do we like our life?", can bring about many
different scenarios.

We always have the ability and choice to like our life, even if there
are some things in it that we don't necessarily like. This may sound
like rhetoric, but there always is something going on in our lives, but
doesn't mean we can't like it overall.

That's because life brings us stuff that we don't always need or want,
and it is up to us to de-select those things that we don't need or
want, it's just part of life, and we always need to pull the weeds to
make
the grass grow.

So we we need to stay mindful not to focus on the "stuff" that enters
our lives, that's not to our liking, but instead, focus on liking our
life.

Constant Growth?

Not really - Growth comes in cycles.

In humans, it takes years to grow and it comes in cycles known as
growth spurts, and the in between times, the body is adapting to what
has been achieved.

In nature, things grow in seasons and not non-stop.

In life, we can't always be growing and taking it to the "Next Level",
we need to have time to re-group.

Even in business, growth is balanced by times of consolidation -
catching up to what has been built upon the foundation, allowing for
future growth.

So don't get discouraged if things are not constantly growing, it just
doesn't happen that way.

The Greatest Joy of Living...

Is the Joy that comes from Giving.

Sounds "corny" but it is true.

Thinking back, we may first think that our greatest Joy has been when
we have really excelled and taken things to the "Next Level" but when
we really dig deep, it was the times when we saw another's face when we
gave what we got.

So if we ever need a little boost of Joy - don't think of yourself -
give to others - it will never let us down.

Thoughts and Body Chemistry?

Yes, Thoughts not only drive our emotions and actions, they also drive our
physiology as well.

Our Thoughts produce neurotransmitters in our brain which result in
physiological and psychological changes.

Good thoughts produce good chemicals and supports a well balanced body
chemistry whereas bad thoughts such as fear, anger and such, produce
the chemistry that brings us down.

So remember, our thoughts can keep either help us or harm us - from the
inside...and it's all our choice.

A Set Back is a...

Set Up - for a Comeback.

Our Very own Augusta gave us that one to run with, and it sounds great!

We can't always have things go smoothly with out stopping, for if it
did, we wouldn't really have any inspiration to do, or get better.

Comebacks are not only great in sports but in life as well - When are
the underdog, or when we need to make a comeback, it allows our real
spirit to be set free as we utilize all of our efforts to
overcome...and the process is not only empowering but it allows the real
us to shine!

Maybe we should think...

Of others first...for a change?

You know the deal...many times, we think of ourselves first and consider others
as just bugging us or getting in the way?

Well, others have their own deal too.

So if a family member, coworker or friend is bugging you or getting in
our way by just being themselves, we may need to rethink - or we end up
alone.

Sometimes, you just got to...

"Bust it down...Legendary".

That's right - Do what you do best and make it Shine.

Why hold back?...the world would love, and most likely need, what you
have inside, busting to get out.

So put the pedal to the metal and floor it when you get the green
light, we are all waiting to see what you got...Oh yeah, make it Legendary.

I'm ready for whatever...

But whatever never happens, because I'm ready - That's the way I roll -
How about You?

Life's going to throw junk at us on a consistent basis, that's just the
deal, but when you're ready - it make no difference what it is, for
when it comes your way - it's not junk - it's life, and that's the way
you take it.

So let's just all say "Bring it" when it comes to life and what's
inevitably in store for us...because we can always be ready for
whatever happens.

Gratuitary Gland?

It's kind of like the Pituitary gland.

But instead of it's primary role of providing growth of your body, the
Gratuitary gland is in control of positive growth in your life.

It's function is stimulated by being grateful and showing gratitude for
all the blessing we have in our lives which promotes future growth...
the more we use it.

So continue to be grateful and show gratitude, and the positive process
will continue to work by itself.

As We Grow Older...

We inevitably lose our shape and looks, but we still can hang on to our
"bragging rights"!

And 'bragging rights" come from our experiences where we have taken
things to the "Next Level".

So what we have done, or are currently doing, that can "brag on" is key.

In our understanding that mediocrity doesn't have a lot of content for
the future, we need to excel in what we do and how we do it for our
future stories to become worth listening to.

Some of us have glided a bit up to now, but there is always today - to
start your own past, that is worthy for tales of Greatness.

Allegiance...

Is described as a loyalty or devotion.

From allegiance comes our allies...those who help us and "have our
back".

Focusing on those who help us and dismissing those who are attempting
to do the opposite, is a key in focusing our attention on that which
will move us forward.

Always Positive?

Can't be.

We all have received some pretty hard blows in our lives, and they could of
been personal, financial, physical or spiritual...it's just part of
life - things happen, and we occasionally get hurt.

After a hard hit, we tend to match our emotions with our
experience...it's just part of balancing out.

So when the experience demands it, and not otherwise, go ahead and go
through all the scenarios in your head ONLY - get angry, imagine
retribution, think of how you could of prevented it, if possible - for
however long you need - Let It Go and then...

Spin it and Win it - into a Positive or a Lesson.

Game of Numbers?

Yes, in life most all of our opportunities come from everywhere, and if
we entertain all of our opportunities and pick the best ones...the more
we draw from, the better our chances are to have more to choose from.
Focusing on one opportunity can be good, but it doesn't allow us Plan B
or C etc. just in case our original plan doesn't work out.
I suggest making a list of many opportunities, so you can always draw on
the ones that make most sense, and being able to change course quickly
when needed.

Everyone you see today...

Has their own Challenges.

Challenges are just part of the deal. Some may have health troubles or
financial concerns, while others may be experiencing relationship woes...
we've all got something - don't kid yourself.

And so do you. It's life. Everything can be perfect, but for only a
short while...because things change.

We may want to think about that before we are quick to become
impatient - you may be good for now - but others may not be.

If things don't always go...

The way we hoped they would or the way we planned, we just need to
keep at it.

We often underestimate the time frame in the way things should turn
out, and many times it's just that we have an overly optimistic view,
or that life has thrown us a curve ball that we didn't expect.

So just keep at it, things usually turn out...when given enough time.

And after all, if we want it bad enough, waiting for the desired result
is often worth the wait.

What's the "Pebble in your Shoe"?

In our life's journey, it's not all roses...there are
some twists and turns, ups and downs and even an occasional bloody lip.

And on the way, we sometimes pick up unwanted stuff
whether we allowed it or it just hopped on board uninvited.

We have enough to deal with in life, and don't need a
"pebble in our shoe" that irritates or distracts us along the way
causing us to lose focus on what's really
important.

So please take the time to slow down a bit - find the
"pebble" and kindly remove it - you'll probably have no problem
finding what it is.

Your Brain Sees...

What your thoughts want it to see.

Miserable thoughts seek out miserable things and
situations, to satisfy and confirm those very thoughts.

Your brain's ego is kind of like "a know it
all"...you know the deal, it's your thoughts combined with your ego that
says stuff like "Things are like this and that, and then looks around and
searches for things that support it, so it can say "See, I told you
so".

Therefore, it's pretty simple how to see what you want to
see - just think good things - to position your brain in a positive
direction...your thoughts coupled with your ego will do the rest.

Sometimes, we don't need to...

Give ourselves a "back door".

As Cerebral thinkers, we usually include a trap door or
escape hatch to allow us a way out if our plans don't work...it's just a part
of our inherent quest for self survival.

But when our plans are for taking our lives to the
"Next Level" we may want to nail the "back door" shut,
allowing only success to be the final outcome.
