Spin it and Win it...

Or Spin it 2 Win it...pretty much the same thing...they both make things better..

Just put whatever challenges that are in front of you, and all of the
challenges from the past, and "Spin" them into a positive or a lesson.

That way, You make it All Good...even when things may not seem that way, or may not have been.

Do you have an albatross...

Hanging around your neck?

Some of us do - it's that thing that we can't shake, get better or get
rid of.

It can be that nagging challenge that we have been not addressing with
current health condition or that bothersome item that has not been
dealt with. It may even be our inability to get out of that rut.

Whatever our albatross is - it needs to go.

So make a plan, focus and that albatross may as well keep the tens on,
because a beat down is coming, and the feathers will fly!

This is the inevitable posting of day 666...

Yikes - The number of the Beast!

Most people stay away from 3 consecutive 6's because of certain
beliefs that have come down with history, I was included, when I joined
a country club where my club number was 666.

Initially, I was suspect on where and when my golf game would implode,
because of my number. But once I decided to have my beliefs trump the
beliefs of history, things got better, much better - had a lot of fun
and won some good dough on that track - even though I was tagged with
666.

I know others that have 3 consecutive 6's that identify them in some
way, in their address and even in their phone numbers - and they are doing pretty good too.

Know this: Your beliefs are stronger than the beliefs of history, myths
or others.

Agape?

You betcha - there's more than one kind of Love.

Agape; Unselfish love, brotherly love, mouth wide open, as in wonder,
surprise or eagerness.

Sure does smack of the love found within the Culture at Zappos.

Agape can help with anything you're involved with, and it sure helps to "Make the World a Better Place".

You can always be a Winner and...

...not Always win.

We don't need to interpret every loss as losing, but as giving to that
which does not mean much to us...it's called "Choosing Our Battles".

Life is give and take, a beautiful balance, and even sometimes it's
better to let someone else "win", to help make the world a better place.

As the old saying goes "You can't win them all", you don't really want
to...just remember "The Winner sometimes takes the Loss".

IQ doesn't Matter...

But the "I Can" does.

No matter how smart we are, it doesn't replace or substitute for the "I
Can" attitude.

With "I can", we can be lacking in the "smarts" department, and achieve
what we set out to achieve, as we may not know better, and can't see the
obstacles.

As a matter of fact, I have spoken to many that have said that if they
knew all the obstacles before they made great achievements - they
wouldn't of even started.

Many times - with a lot of smarts we can "talk" ourselves out of
achievement, by being able to process too much information and "seeing"
too many roadblocks, that stops the journey dead in it's tracks.

So, it's not how much "smart" we have,

It's how much "heart" we have.

Focusing on just...

A few things, sometimes makes the experience better.

No matter what we focus on, the focus raises all of our senses to take
it all in.

Unlike a Buffet...You're eating a crab leg, thinking about the pizza,
and you eat the pizza thinking about the roast beef, and you eat the
roast beef thinking about the waffle....there are too many choices and
they all seem to blend together,.until it all tastes the same.

It can be the same when we are doing anything, with too many choices or
options, our senses can be overwhelmed and our experience and even the
outcome can be diminished from what it could of been, if we just focused on a few things.

So, for a great experience for most of what we do, focusing on the few,
can have a sweet effect on our experience and on the results that follow.

Sharing is...

Caring.

That's from our very own Illustrious Fred!

He's right - and we innately learned it when we were kids - you
remember - when you cared about someone - you shared, and when you
didn't - they got nothing.

But as we grow older, we also begin to understand that sharing is just
a great thing to do - no matter what we have, or who the other person
is...because as adults, we know something that we didn't know as a
kid...we can always get more of what we share, and when we share
first, it opens the spirit of caring.

Nice one - Making the World a Better Place

There are a million...

Things that can annoy, worry or irritate us - don't let them.

It sure is easy to allow those negative things take over our emotions.

So why not...Let the million things...that can bring us joy, happiness
and love in.

It's Most likely the better choice.

No Regrets, Only Lessons...

We are not born with experience, it is created by living our lives and
shaped by our choices.

We sometimes make poor choices and can either learn a lesson or have
regrets.

By having regrets, we spend our present and future strolling down
"Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda Street" which serves no purpose.

Finding lessons from our past experiences can be used as a positive
guide towards making our future just that much better.

So if we have made a poor choice int the past, like we have all done,
take it as a lesson and move forward, or have regrets and live in the
past - all our choice.

Ah, what a stretch

And a good stretch always feels good and even better when it's over.

The greatest thing about stretching is that it takes us beyond our norm.

Whether we stretch our bodies, our minds, our abilities or our
perceived limits, the process takes us beyond where we currently are,
or have been.

And the greatest effect stretching has, no matter what we are
stretching, is that it is difficult to go back to our original form.

So stretching anything in our lives allows us to grow beyond where we
have been, and going beyond is always a good thing, as it let's us be
just that much more of what we were before.

Keep stretching to be all that you can be.

In business...

A common mistake that is made, is that they advertise when things are
down, in an attempt to bring in more business.

But in reality, when business is down, working on the structure and
function of the business is what is called for, not advertising.

Advertising is to be done when the business is doing great, that way
they are advertising greatness and it will feed on greatness.

Look at it this way - Would you advertise yourself, when things aren't
going so well? Or would you work on yourself to get better, and then
advertise the better you?

Take the Time?

Whatever we've planned, mapped out or look forward to, we need to
remember to take the time, to take it all in.

The journey is usually 95% of the trip, so why spend and the enjoying
for the end?

Whether we have a family, or a business that we are tending to, as it
grows, it will soon be over and we must not "jip" ourselves along the
way.

Hardships, struggles and sacrifice are all trading in our time, for
something better, so we need to be reminded that hardships, struggles,
and sacrifice are better than our alternatives and should be viewed as
such.

Love every step, cherish the ones who have been there along the way,
and embrace the ones that have helped... just as you enjoy your
favorite meal - taste every bite - it will soon be over.

A big question that is often asked is...

How do I get motivated?

Great question...we can either use the "Carrot or the Stick"...you
know, in getting a donkey to do something...use the carrot in the front,
or the stick from behind - all to get the donkey moving forward...

We can so the same with ourselves - whatever works.

In using a "Carrot" in helping us to move forward, we can take things
that we perceive is better than we currently are, or have, and use them
as inspiration, for what we want to have, or become.

Or we can also use the "Stick" to help us move forward, by taking
things which we perceive as being worse than we are, or have, and use
them for motivation.

Fear or Faith?

When we have Fear as a driving force, we are in a negative mode,
reacting to what is around us, whereas when we have faith as a driving
force, we are in a positive mindset, and respond to the things around
us...and we can play our own game.

So if we want to get ahead and be in control of our lives, we must be
mindful to have faith as our motivator...it will give us the "can do"
attitude, which allows us to better achieve things we "set" our minds to.

Also, when we are not afraid...we start to live.

BTW - Faith also helps out a bit, in golf.
