How can it be...

Sooner than I think, when it is already later than I thought?

You know the deal...someone promising you something and when you have
already thought it should be there, you ask them about it, and they say
it will be there sooner than you think?

It's not only the deal with people, it's a Big Deal with companies.

Especially when someone, or some company has already got your dough.

Shouldn't be that way, but it is, and we can help change it...by
continuing to under-promise and over- deliver...WOW - What a concept!

A Crabopotamus...

Is someone who is a bit more crabby than they should be.

We can all be a Crabopotamus, occasionally, but don't want to be one for long.

It's is our choice to be happy or not, so what's the big deal to look
on the positive side of things or "Spin", the not so good stuff.

It just takes a bit of conscious reminding, and with a little repetition, is starts to condition into a subconscious act.

Balancing our lives...

Must not only be for ourselves.

Balancing our own lives can be a challenge, but with a little focus, we can accomplish anything.

The real challenge that needs to be handled, is including "others", in part of our deal.

Have you recently shut down everything and engaged in some focused
communication with those who mean so much to you? Or have you been
putting it off? If we have been procrastinating, when we stop and think
about the reasons why we haven't done it...are pathetically defenseless.

When we spend enough time connecting, in person or in some other way
with the ones we love, it makes the whole balancing act worthwhile.

I have a sister...

Kathy - 4 years younger, she grew up with much less supervision and
rules then me, I think my parents cried "uncle" after raising me and my
older sister Teri...definitely Teri.

Kathy seemed to figure things out early...she "flows" through life...we
call her Mrs. Magoo - everything comes to her at the right time.

Birds and animals don't plant seeds or tend herds , but they get fed, don't worry, have a great life and things work out.

That's her deal - "flowing" through life. while enjoying living - pretty impressive...

One step forward, and...

Two steps back?

Maybe "Spin it" into "Two steps forward and One step back"?

Why not - That's life.

In understanding, that as we move ahead, we have roadblocks and detours
that are part of the deal is very important.

And an occasional "step backwards" IS part of the deal, so we must not
be concerned with the temporary lack of progress.

Sometimes, frustration and worry that we have to start over, can
consume our thoughts, and stop progress altogether - but we know better
and just sometimes, we need to reminded.

Give it up!

That's right...Give up what you have been holding on to.

We're taking about that Great thing, that you know is Great, but you
have been keeping from all of us.

What's the deal? Are you going to hide it until we're all gone?

Come on, just Give it Up already...and Shine like you are supposed to.

Sometimes our "best friend"...

Can be our best friend.

In living life, we can get consumed or even have our blinders on, in
certain situations or with the direction were are attempting to
go...simply because we are part of our deal, which makes our decisions
subjective.

A best friend is a good resource to help us along the way, not only
because they know you, and have your back, but because they are also
"outside" your life and can be objective about your deal.

We may not feel that we need advice is certain situations or in
direction, but a best friend can give you suggestions.

Everyone you see today...

Has their own Challenges.

Challenges are just part of the deal. Some may have health troubles or
financial concerns, while others may be experiencing relationship woes...
we've all got something - don't kid yourself.

And so do you. It's life. Everything can be perfect, but for only a
short while...because things change.

We may want to think about that before we are quick to become
impatient - you may be good for now - but others may not be.

Yours in Patience - Coach
