No goal is too hard...

To attain, when we persevere.

Yes, virtually anything can be achieved over time.

This is what we must be mindful of, when we set out our goals.

Not only must we stick with our goal, in order to attain it, but we
must keep in mind to carve out the time needed to reach our goal, even
if it takes longer than originally thought, or planned for.

Persistence is key, for many of us give up when the end is near,
because we didn't plan for enough time, and in knowing this, we can
attain just about anything we set out to do.

In Goal Setting...

We must be mindful of the biggest thing that thwarts the completion of any goal:

When the pain of achieving our goal, becomes larger than...

The pain of the results we want.

That's why it is so important to create baby steps in our goal setting process.

By doing this, any pain that my come along the way of achieving our goal, doesn't overcome the pain of how bad we want it.

If we had a Car Worth...

A Billion dollars, we would probably wax it and take care of it with
great pride..

On the front on the30 Day Goal piece that I give out is a Billion
Dollar bill. It represents that we are ALL worth at least a Billion
Dollars.

It may sound strange, but I ask the ones that are making the goals "If there were a place that
they could go to and cut both their arms and legs off and trade them in
for a Billion Dollars, would they do it"?

They all say they wouldn't - goes to show...just our arms and legs are worth a
Billion Dollars!

So are we taking care of ourselves, and the folks around us like we are
all worth at least a Billion dollars, or a $10 dollar bill?

We are Powerful beyond measure.

My friend and mentor Tom Mendoza, Vice Chairman of Network Appliance (#1 on Forbe's list of 100 Best Companies to work for) delivered a Powerful speech at one of the companies yearly sales conventions...

It was titled "The Power of One".

All Greatness starts with "One"...one Vision, one individual, one focus,
one goal.

In understanding the "Power of One", we can create anything, and with
the attraction and focus of the "Power of One", other people and other
things, can unite in the same direction - creating a domino effect that
can achieve or conquer whatever is started by "One"...

So let's embrace the "Power of One" and the Greatness that follows,
allowing the process to unfold.

Great Feats...

Are really something you can carry with you for the rest of your life and maybe even something to tell the Grandkids.

Great Feats always have a common thread...it's something we accomplish when we push ourselves beyond our normal limits.

By undertaking a Great Feat, we need to keep our mind focused on the process and know that the outcome is our goal.

And for those of you that have accomplished Great Feats or are in the
process of doing so...just know, it is something that you can cherish
forever.

Making a Goal is just like...

Planning.

We all know how things go in our lives...it seems like we often don't have enough
time to fit things in, or do what we really want to do.

But when we set a goal or make a plan, our goals and plans usually work
out and get handled.

That's because we have declared where we want to go or what we want in our lives,
and we then tend to focus toward what we have declared.

So if we need to go somewhere, get something done, have more fun, or just need a
vacation, make it a goal or plan it out, and it will happen.
