We all make choices...

Everyday, which effects us everyday.

But sometimes the "Big" choices come up and we don't always know if we
are making the right decision.

Well, nothing can guarantee that we are making the right choices, but
there are some safeguards the we can be mindful of when the "Big"
choices come up, and they are:

1. Investigate, research or talk with someone about your choice to be
made.
2. The grass Always looks greener.
3. Don't quit your "day job".
4. Commit only when the time is right, and when you can feel good about
your decision.

Remember, there are never any guarantees - but there is always some
assurance.

Spin it and Win it...

Or Spin it 2 Win it...pretty much the same thing...they both make things better..

Just put whatever challenges that are in front of you, and all of the
challenges from the past, and "Spin" them into a positive or a lesson.

That way, You make it All Good...even when things may not seem that way, or may not have been.

Get your mind...

In a good place...and your mind will take you to good places.

Good to know.

Occasionally, we get our minds in a bad place, and the rest goes from there.

We just need to have our minds positioned in the direction of where we want to go, and the rest takes off by itself.

The Story of the 2 Wolves...

One evening, an Old Cherokee Chief told his grandson about a battle that
goes on inside all people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two
"wolves", within or minds...inside us all.

One is Evil - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed,
arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false
pride, superiority and ego.

The other is Good - It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,
kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his
grandfather: "Which one Wins?"

The Old Cherokee Chief simply replied, "The one you feed".

Who's Life is it, anyways?

Do you sometimes get the feeling you are not in control?

Are you doing
things you have always done, that you don't like...or don't want to do?

Well, it's time for you to take control and do things your way.

For me...I now cut the crust off my bread...never liked crust, but always ate it - not anymore...and it feels pretty darn
good.

A fly in the ointment...

Is never a good thing.

Either is anything that can spoil our attitude by being a nuisance.

But many times, we go through life with that fly in the ointment, or
that pebble in our shoe...souring our every move.

What we need to do is take the time to remove the fly or the pebble
that has been so bothersome, and get back to moving forward and taking
our life to the "Next Level".

If we don't take the time, we have that nagging problem which tethers
us down, not allowing us to reach our potential.

I Thank My Competitors

My competitors do more for me than my friends.

My friends are too polite to point out my weaknesses, but my competitors go to great lengths to tell me all of them.

My competitors are efficient and diligent. They make me search for ways to improve my service and efficiencies.

My competitors would take my business away from me if they could.

This keeps me alert and to hold what I have.

If I had no competitors, I would be lazy, incompetent and complacent. I need the discipline they enforce on me.

I thank my competitors. They have been good to me.

Can't put an old head...

On young shoulders.

Probably be good if we could, but just wouldn't look right.

But if we could use the mind, it would be terrific...Thinking what we
know at a younger age - maybe we could of have had a lot better time??
But we can't, and it would really spoil the amazing things we
could experience for the first time...with our eyes - wide open.

So simply understanding that living our life the way we do, we need to
get lessons, bumps and bruises along the way - in order to get a wiser,
more experienced "head" which grows right along with the "shoulders".

Ah, what a stretch

And a good stretch always feels good and even better when it's over.

The greatest thing about stretching is that it takes us beyond our norm.

Whether we stretch our bodies, our minds, our abilities or our
perceived limits, the process takes us beyond where we currently are,
or have been.

And the greatest effect stretching has, no matter what we are
stretching, is that it is difficult to go back to our original form.

So stretching anything in our lives allows us to grow beyond where we
have been, and going beyond is always a good thing, as it let's us be
just that much more of what we were before.

Keep stretching to be all that you can be.

A shock is sometimes good for us?

You betcha...and the only reason it is a shock, is because we weren't
ready for it.

When we are shocked by a situation, event or even a cold shower, it's
just because we are taken by surprise and have a hard time getting our
heads, or our body around what just happened.

And getting shocked simply elevates our internal structures and
functions to rise to the occasion.

It's the "fight or flight" reaction of our body - where our autonomic
nervous system shifts to meet the demand - the sympathetic nervous
system takes over and the parasympathetic nervous system cools down -
all to better help us deal with what we didn't see coming.

So our body rises to the occasion, and so can we, and sometimes a
little shock is what we all need to get us out of "idle".

We have to train our...

Body and our minds, otherwise our body and minds are not trained.

May sound a bit rhetorical, but it's true.

Our minds and bodies are a "clean slate" when we are born.

So it's up to us on how we train them. We have the choice of training
them with "good" stuff which help us grow positively, or "bad" stuff
which will lead us down hill.

That's the beauty of it...it's all up to us on how we train - and the
results will follow.

Maybe get back in touch...

With the one that has slipped away.

Love is for eternity and friendship lasts forever - so there is always
time to reach out to the one that has been overlooked, but not forgotten.

We all have that someone that we have not given enough attention to, it
may be a long lost friend, or even someone that is close to us
already, and has just been taken for granted.

Maybe getting back in touch would be exactly the right plan - it may just do a lot of good for both.

Do we like our Life?

I sure hope so, for it's the only one we got.

Pondering the question of "Do we like our life?", can bring about many
different scenarios.

We always have the ability and choice to like our life, even if there
are some things in it that we don't necessarily like. This may sound
like rhetoric, but there always is something going on in our lives, but
doesn't mean we can't like it overall.

That's because life brings us stuff that we don't always need or want,
and it is up to us to de-select those things that we don't need or
want, it's just part of life, and we always need to pull the weeds to
make
the grass grow.

So we we need to stay mindful not to focus on the "stuff" that enters
our lives, that's not to our liking, but instead, focus on liking our
life.
