There would be almost...

Nothing worse than having no competition.

We would get lazy, by having nothing to challenge us.

We would grow bored, by things coming easily.

We would become complacent, by never facing a challenge.

We would become weak, by not having to use, what we were blessed with.

We would never reach our potential, as we would never face resistance.

What's with that? Nothing...that's why we embrace competition.

Keep doing the "Right" things...

Because character is built over time.

The easy route and shortcuts are for the lazy, and are the wrecking
ball of character.

So keep at it, and over time, character is also what makes History.

I Thank My Competitors

My competitors do more for me than my friends.

My friends are too polite to point out my weaknesses, but my competitors go to great lengths to tell me all of them.

My competitors are efficient and diligent. They make me search for ways to improve my service and efficiencies.

My competitors would take my business away from me if they could.

This keeps me alert and to hold what I have.

If I had no competitors, I would be lazy, incompetent and complacent. I need the discipline they enforce on me.

I thank my competitors. They have been good to me.

Tough times never last...

But tough people do.

Looking back on our tough times from the past, we can see that the
tough times made us stronger and in most cases, the really tough
situations, have allowed us to change course and ultimately, were
really blessings in disguise.

If everything were easy, there would be no resistance and with out
resistance, we would get lazy, as our effort would not be needed, and
our "game" would become weak.

Therefore we must stay strong, and view any situation which comes our
way, as an opportunity for us to open up new doors of the future, and
let the past be the past.

So in our future, it's not the tough times we focus upon, it's the
opportunities that will come to be, that needs to be within our vision.
