Listen to the Ones...

That have been grown up most of their lives, it just may be the wise thing to do.

Growing up, we all probably "knew it all" when we were still in sigh
school, but then as time moves on, we seem to know less and less.

I have picked up quite a few gems from those in my life, that have been
around for a while, and the sweet part about it is...they usually give
insights or a new perception, in a way that really makes it matter.

Pounds released...

Or pounds gained - all up to us.

We've said in the past that 100 "extra" calories a day is 10 pounds
gained over the course of a year.

So in reverse, 100 "less" calories a day is 10 pounds released over the
course of a year.

What we didn't talk about is that an increase or decrease in exercise
is also a factor in whether we want to gain or release weight.

So it's really a game of numbers and exercise...to get ourselves where we
want to be...and it's all up to us.

Let's be Grateful...

For what we have, and for whatever comes our way.

There are many who are less fortunate than us, and some work much
harder...for much less.

We have a place to sleep, food to eat, clothes to wear and our choice
to take it from there...and for some, the rest is just a bonus, but it
really is a bonus to all of us.

Luxuries become necessities in short order, so we need to be grateful
for all that we have, and all that comes our way...for most likely, it's more than most.
