Time...

Is the one thing we can't buy more of.

In our life time, we have a finite period of time...and most of
us have no idea of how much time we really have.

Since we can't ever buy more time, maybe we should be spending it
wisely.

Between birth and death...

Is life...and is the time for living.

We're talking about really living, not just being alive.

We have the ability to choose what we want to do, and how we want to do
it, and at one end of the scale, we can just drudge along or on the
other end we can be totally excited in all that we do.

It is really up to us on how we spend our time living.

We don't always have to "red line" at the totally excited range, but
then again, we don't have to drudge along, from day to day
either...somewhere in the middle, at a minimum is a solid plan.

Pride of Ownership?

Says a lot about who we are. It's not where we live, but how we live,
and has nothing to do with money, class or status.

And a simple peek at our living conditions usually is very
representative of how we take care of the other things in our lives.

Are we living in a pigsty or in an orderly fashion?

Living in order allows other things to be in order too, and living in
disorder or chaos usually has a profound effects on everything else.

So if we need to bring order to how we lives, beginning with our living
conditions is a great place to start, for once order is achieved there...
all the rest usually follows suit.

We can't live forever...

And on first thought, it would be nice to.

But what happens if we did live forever?

Our family would die off and our friends would pass on too, leaving us all
alone.

So on second thought, maybe it's not the best that we live forever,
just do all we can with the one life we have.

That may make more sense.

I have a sister...

Kathy - 4 years younger, she grew up with much less supervision and
rules then me, I think my parents cried "uncle" after raising me and my
older sister Teri...definitely Teri.

Kathy seemed to figure things out early...she "flows" through life...we
call her Mrs. Magoo - everything comes to her at the right time.

Birds and animals don't plant seeds or tend herds , but they get fed, don't worry, have a great life and things work out.

That's her deal - "flowing" through life. while enjoying living - pretty impressive...

All Role Models...

Are not Adults.

Children - just watch them - they are seeing most everything with eyes
wide open - with no judgment, of themselves or others...and that's the
cool part.

Doing their deal, and not caring what they look like - my youngest has
pajama day at his elementary school, and loves it...hair a mess - in
PJ's and slippers and is proud as can be.

Going from activity to activity with reckless abandon...eating when
they are hungry, sleeping when they are tired, and getting up when they
have had enough sleep.

Pure living - no worries, and they usually don't know or care what day
it is, or what time it is.

Maybe we can all learn from kids - and put back a little "child" into
our daily lives.

The Greatest Joy of Living...

Is the Joy that comes from Giving.

Sounds "corny" but it is true.

Thinking back, we may first think that our greatest Joy has been when
we have really excelled and taken things to the "Next Level" but when
we really dig deep, it was the times when we saw another's face when we
gave what we got.

So if we ever need a little boost of Joy - don't think of yourself -
give to others - it will never let us down.
