Many times we...

Compare our "worst" to everyone's "best".

We just want to see how we stack up against the competition, nothing
wrong with that.

But in doing so, we sometimes set ourselves up for failure, if we don't
think
about all the things we are good at.

We can't be good at everything and there are many people that are
smarter, stronger, faster, and healthier, but it doesn't mean that we
don't have just as many good things about us, as all the rest.

So when we size ourselves up to others, we just need to stay mindful of
the qualities we possess, in order to keep things in perspective.

Building muscle...

Is not as easy as it's sounds.

Because every time we exercise in an effort to build muscles, we
actually "tear down" our muscles...building muscles is a process.

Once we exercise, we must "rest" the muscle to allow for it to build
back stronger, in accordance to the stress put on it. And since the
muscles cellular composition consists mainly of protein, increased
protein intake is necessary for the building process.

So if you want to build muscle, remember rest, in between exercise, and
increase your protein intake.

And the cool side effect of exercise in an attempt to build muscles,
the surrounding metabolism is accelerated, so the fat stores in the
immediate area gets used up at an accelerated rate:)

It's not if...

It's when.

And it turns around...when it's ready.

You know the feeling - watching your favorite sports team...going
along...behind in the score, but deep inside, you know they will turn
it around and win, so it's not if - it's when...and you sit back and watch the
beauty unfold at it's own divine pace.

Just experienced the same thing in my life, with some folks I know.

The recession hit, knocked a little wind out, and once they caught
their breath and started to work with the headwinds, they
are starting to bust out, stronger than ever.

And, it's an honor watching the beauty unfold.

The same in your life - It's not if...it's when.

Things don't happen to us...

They happen for us.

When things happen to us, we become the victim, and when things happen
for us, we are in charge and it is up to us, what we do with it, or what we do about it.

It's all about perception.

Whatever comes our way, comes our way, and it is up to us to view it
positively or negatively and our actions will follow our perception.

So whatever we face - we need to perceive it as an opportunity...an
opportunity to make us stronger, smarter, or more empowered and better able to deal
with the same things when it come around again.

Otherwise, things can break us down and take it's toll...when all we had
to do is change our perception.

Tough times never last...

But tough people do.

Looking back on our tough times from the past, we can see that the
tough times made us stronger and in most cases, the really tough
situations, have allowed us to change course and ultimately, were
really blessings in disguise.

If everything were easy, there would be no resistance and with out
resistance, we would get lazy, as our effort would not be needed, and
our "game" would become weak.

Therefore we must stay strong, and view any situation which comes our
way, as an opportunity for us to open up new doors of the future, and
let the past be the past.

So in our future, it's not the tough times we focus upon, it's the
opportunities that will come to be, that needs to be within our vision.

Ever make a financial blunder?

We all have, and if life gave us do-overs, it would be great, but
that's not how life works.

Losing money is never easy because making it can sometimes be
difficult, and making up for lost money can mean working double time or
maybe just smarter.

But understanding our mistakes and poor choices when it come to our
dough, can actually make us stronger than we were before...in keeping and
growing what we got.

We can agree that our mistakes can make us stronger and build a plan
from our experiences, to better our future, or we can dwell on the past

  • which does no good.

Don't believe it? Ever tried to make money in the Past?
