It might be surprising to learn that one of the world's most dramatic, unapologetically elegant and glamorous designers almost didn't become a fashion designer at all. Christian Lacroix originally wanted to be a museum curator, and studied at the Sorbonne and Ecole du Louvre in Paris. Can you imagine?
