Heh, should I be embarrassed if I said I loved them, especially on my guy? Yeahhhhhh... hot guys with nice legs and, umm, tooshie = drool
goes to blush in her corner, now
There is a reason that this crotch-hugging, leave-nothing-to-the-imagination, but should (on some men)look went out in the '80s... Please... leave it out... it was awful then, it is awful now! In case there was any doubt that was a 'hated it'...
No guy should ever if think about wearing these. I don't care if you have a great body or not. Butt hugging pants should be banned and burned.
Skinny jeans aren't necessarily my cup of tea, but they can look good, on the right person with the right look of course. I personally prefer Slim fitted denim over skinny any day. I think most people get skinny/slim fit denim confused anyway.
Die skinny jeans, die!
I know that this trend resurfaced in the last year or two, but seriously--they flatter neither men nor women. If we would all just stick to the universally appealing straight or boot cut jean, and the world would be a better place. The skinny jean should RIP forever.
(The same goes for high-waisted jeans.)
I ABSOLUTELY HATE THEM!
Mainly because I can?t pull them off literally.
May I suggest a refined style like DIESEL?s Zathan. Its medium low-rise regular fit and unique wash works wonders in the club.
For everyone stating that Boot-cut is more "appealing," how and why? Boot cut reminds me of some ugly Abercrombie denim and overall look. Unless you're tall and slender, boot cut isn't a great look for a dude. Why would you want your denim to cover 75% of your shoe with 20-24" leg openings?
I prefer my package to have some breathing room but that's a personal preference. Some like the "security". Guys, go ahead and sport those huggers if you can pull it off. But if you're getting the same look as your girlfriend from the guy behind you, you need to go a size bigger.
Skinny Jeans are a fashion piece that REQUIRE style and a proportioned body. Few can rock, myself included, and few appreciate. Skinny jeans are apart of a look- you either have or you don't. Most guys that choose to rock the skinny leg know how to wear them- I think a vital compliment is a narrow more pointy toe shoe. If you have a 'Mid-West' type of style I don't expect you to get it...I'll wait about a year and maybe then the trend will hit you.
Is my calendar incorrect and is it still 2004? This post could have been relevant four years ago I suppose. But skinny jeans have been dominating daily fashion attire and appearing in our pages of Vogue for many, many years.
Hate them - denim leggings (skinny jeans) are unflattering to ALL!
Dear Stickler4Style, as we stated this is an ongoing trend. It started almost concurrent with CBGB and the throngs of rockers thereafter. Couture gladly stated that it is a look that has filtered into the mainstream. We here at Couture have noticed the prominence of the look here at Zappos and wanted to see what our readers thought. Then again, along with slim fitting denim there is the ongoing recurrence of leggings. But Stickler, is there anything really new in fashion?
Gross, Mostly because I confuse the look with hot girls and then if I like what the guy looks like I will question myself, and I don't need that these days.
Kidding
Hate it, loathe it, ABHOR it...
Brian K summed up my feelings perfectly. If I want to look that effeminate, I'll dress up as a mid-90s Hanson brother for Halloween.

I personally do not like skinny jeans on guys, especially if I am dating them. I find the straight leg or boot cut is a bit more flattering; however, there are some guys who can pull this look off and look great at the same time. There are a couple of guys on the fashion team that can rock this trend and make it look hot, so for them, I say go for it! Unfortunately, there are some guys out there that should just retire the sad things and adopt a new trend.
