Travis Jeans, Juicy Couture…one in the same? Actually, yes. In 1994, Gela Nash and Pamela Skaist-Levy founded Travis Jeans as a maternity wear company, which evolved into Juicy Couture, now famous for their collapsible flats, tunics, sundresses, velour sweatsuits and dual handled satchels.

Juicy Couture garnered its popular reputation due to its high-quality fabrics, like cashmere, fleece and velour, and urban yet comfortable luxurious looks. Marketing the brand came on full force in the west coast’s big cities, such as LA, and soon women were sporting Juicy Couture sweatsuits and sportswear everywhere. Men’s, kids and infants’ clothing collections soon followed. We here at Couture.Zappos.com, snapped them up (of course!). Their kids' flats and flip flops are just adorable, and their women's shoes vary from sophisticated heels and fun flats to cute wedges and sandals.

Was it the “Juicy” emblazoned on the derrieres of its sweatpants that helped increase the company’s popularity? We may never know.
