We’re only one episode closer to the finale, yet contestants are already speaking in the third person. Is the pressure so great that people are going crazy so soon?
The challenge: The designers were to make a cocktail dress their model would wear out. But it was also a Project Runway first – the models went shopping for fabric and materials for their designer, with no help from their designer at all. Let’s just say some models did good, some did very good and some shot themselves in the foot.
The winner: Even though Suede was referring to himself in the third person practically the entire episode (um, annoying), his red and light gold cocktail dress with tulle skirt caught the judges’, and guest judge Natalie Portman’s, eye in a good way and he won the challenge – BlueFly.com will manufacture and sell his dress. Now, please, Suede, pretty please, stop talking in third person. Really.
The losers: It came between LeAnne and Wesley – their models both bought the same awful bronze metallic fabric, and so both of them made two awful dresses out of it. But poor Wesley, as cute as he is, his dress was not. Looked pretty cheap, actually. LeAnne was spared, Wesley was auf’d.
Stay tuned to see if Suede actually stops talking about himself in third person…
