Color blocking, a strong trend for spring and fall 2008, is a delightful update of the geometric pattern that we have been seeing the last few seasons. The look has been seen on dresses and accessories in a fusion of color in bands of fabric, or patchwork designs in leather. It lends that essential pop to a monotonal outfiit, or brings a little color creativity to a multi color mix. Argyle is that preppy staple that never really goes out of style. It can be that bold colored pattern that just pops an outfit or a subtle hint of the design that makes a chic, quiet statement.
