We have been anxiously waiting for tonight like kids who can’t sleep the night before Christmas because they’re hoping Santa Clause will bring them fabulous Marc Jacobs and Balenciaga bags.
And if you don’t know what premieres tonight, even after reading this blog’s headline, you must have fallen off your reverse high heels and had amnesia for the past three years.
It’s the debut of the fifth season of Project Runway! Talk about a summertime treat that’s way healthier than soft-serve. There’s a wider age range in the contestants this time around, from 23 to 42, and from the look of everyone’s bios, there’s definitely a wide range of style. Also, I can’t help but notice a lot of contestants don’t live in the Big Five, or at least, New York or LA, but hey, you must be creative in a town where there aren’t as many people taking fashion risks. Season one’s winner, Jay McCarroll, was from Lehman, Pennsylvania, after all. Yeah, exactly.
