Lagerfeld Confidentiale may have hit the big screen just a few months ago, but France can’t get enough of the Kaiser. The France 5 channel will air a 52-minute documentary about Lagerfeld as part of its Empreintes series, which is profiling some of the world’s most famous faces, including Brigitte Bardot. The show will feature interviews with Lagerfeld about his work and life, and will also follow him as he goes about his day-to-day work.

This made-for-TV documentary will air in October. So if you are in France and can't get enough of the Kaiser, check it out.

Karl Lagerfeld might not have predicted he’d one day be in a video game, but that day has come. And not just any video game – The Kaiser will be a DJ on K109 the Studio as you navigate around the crime-ridden city in Grand Theft Auto IV. His avatar looks just like him: white hair in a ponytail, signature glasses, all-burgundy suit and tie.

Fashionistas already knew The Kaiser had the Midas touch, and with Grand Theft Auto IV reportedly selling out across the country, his golden touch has rubbed off on the video game sector, too.

KARL LAGERFELD ON THE ROAD

The man with the golden touch and fingerless gloves, Karl Lagerfeld, designer of Chanel, Fendi, Lagerfeld Gallery, product campaign photographer, writer, has just added road safety to his lofty resume. One does not think of road safety as a hot or sexy commodity, nor do you associate the Kaiser with a fluorescent yellow safety vest, but it is a collaboration that is underway for summertime. Lagerfeld will appear in the road safety ads in France with his typical dour expression, white ponytail and dark glasses, all the while sporting the yellow safety vest encouraging drivers to equip themselves with safety vests with this simple statement, "It's yellow, it's ugly, it doesn't match anything, but it can save your life." But fear not, Karl remains his stylish self, pairing the safety vest with a black suit, crisp white shirt and bow tie.
