Nothing to Wear? Throw on a Scarf!

Now, we’re not suggesting you go sans clothing and just throw on a scarf! But you can literally put on a simple white tee and your go-to pair of jeans, slip on a pair of comfy flats, then throw on a light and colorful scarf, and you've got yourself a look that's effortlessly cool and pulled-together.

We've spotted this no-brainer of a trend on the hottest fashion mavens of Tinseltown season after season, and it's no

Whether it's at the airport or going out for a java fix, Hollywood's hottest fashionistas like Ashley Olsen, Nicole Richie, Lauren Conrad and Rachel Bilson all know one thing; scarves are quite possibly the easiest way to throw new life into casual ensembles.

The rising temperatures call for lightweight and airy scarves, making a great transition from your winter to spring wardrobe. Try a lovely and flowy lavender scarf by Missoni with a simple tank top or a lightweight sweater for an instant pop of color, or for an edgy take on feminine, try this surreal Alexander McQueen silk scarf. These soft color palettes look particularly pretty when worn against a grey or black top for contrast.

If your style is more laid-back bohemian, opt for a bright pop of color in an overdyed Indian-style print, like this scarf by Lucky Brand. The exotic print lends such a worldly feel and the lightweight texture complements your warm-weather wardrobe impeccably.

So, next time you're frantically searching your closet for something to wear, just throw on some basics and accessorize with a colorful scarf to get that uncontrived look that says, "I always look this good even on my off days".

We recently held our very first casting call for employees at the Kentucky warehouse! We encouraged them to mug for the camera while they tried on this week's trends: neutrals, grays, boyfriend jeans, and casual wear. Not surprisingly, the photos are amazing and the looks are to buy for! (wink wink!) Shop Zappos.com and find your favorite trends.

This spring's hottest trend is now at Zappos! Taurie M., Photographer, knows that looking good is all about the basics! You can pair a neutral blouse, pant or jacket with just about anything. Grab the basics and quit worrying about what to wear!

Ah, the boyfriend sweater, truly one of the most important trends of the last season. It is an effortless and chic addition to any outfit. We are loving this deep v-neck olive green version by Splendid. Pair it with a neutral colored cami, black stovepipe jeans and high heel peep toe lace-up pumps.

Is there such a thing as being too tall? Not when you’re wearing over-the-knee boots. These Sergio Rossi boots stand tall when you wear them with a dress and leggings, but look just as fashionable folded over with your jeans tucked in.

Slouch boots are hardly shapeless. These Marc by Marc Jacobs boots are slouched on top but structured on the bottom, the perfect style to tuck your jeans into or pair with your above the knee sweater dress.

Tiered dresses are freeflowing and playful, whether the tiers are flat or ruffled. Feeling too flapper-esque? Dresses with longer tiers, like this one by kensie, are more fluid and will have you less likely to break out into the Charleston – wear them with colored tights and flats.

SPARKLING EYES... LITERALLY

Nov 9, 2008 by Stephanie_Sims

Sparkly jewels around the eyes are nothing new. But sparkly jewels hanging from your eyes are.

According to Fashion Week Daily, the new, slightly odd fashion accessory, is eye jewelry – a crystal, flower, etc. – that hangs from a thin thread that is attached to a contact lens. This makes the person wearing it look like they are crying a crystal…or something.

Yes, we think our eyes would water, too, with something dangling from them and with the constant blinking over the thin thread. The eye jewel is available in the UK and costs about $400. Um, a $400 price tag? Yes, that would make us actually cry.
