What do Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell, Project Runway’s Christian Siriano all have in common? The three all guest starred on Ugly Betty this past season. Victoria Beckham, in fact, has signed on to return to the show in a few more episodes, according to producers. If she does reprise her role, she will be playing herself – fabulous – but we’re hoping that equally fashionable people jump on board. Who wouldn’t want to have fun at fictional fashion mag Mode after all?

The characters on Ugly Betty can be a bit over the top sometimes. But that’s perfect for stage acting, and it appears the show may just be headed for the bright lights of Broadway. Michael Urie, who plays assistant Marc St. James on the show, confirmed to a British radio station that a deal is in the works. I would guess that they probably wouldn’t be able to use the real cast from the show – unless this musical had a summer run only, and everyone didn’t mind using their time off of work to, well, work – but Vanessa Williams is a trained singer/dancer. It would be fun to see her belt out some Wilhelmina tunes.

Well sort of, we are talking about trigger-temper catwalk queen Naomi Campbell here. Today is her birthday and as luck would have it, it coincides with her appearance on tonight’s season finale of Ugly Betty. Playing her super model self, she takes up a bat as a member of a softball team opposite the fictional Mode magazine’s team. The softball outfit that she wears in the show will be autographed and auctioned off online on Elle.com to benefit Clothes Off Our Backs organization, an organization that raises funds for children’s charities. You can go to Elle.com to make your bid. The bidding started on May 16th and ends on May 26 at 9:00 a.m. EST. Play ball!

Christian Siriano won PRW and his growing star power due to his flamboyant personality seems to know no bounds and definitely resonates with the masses. One needs only to check the former SNL video from an earlier blog here (that’s right folks we were ahead of the curve on that) to see the following he has.

As Christian and the House of Siriano made their entrance into the ficticious Mode magazine from Ugly Betty, Editor-in-Chief Daniel greeted the great one with “how happy they were to have him and how fierce it is to have him there.” Faux pas, yes! As the rest of Mode staff hung their heads and hid their eyes in shame, Daniel clueless as always was schooled by Christian that no one says that to him, because it is so over!” In reality that saying was over for over five years until Mr. Tranny Hot Mess, deliverer of the word "fierce" himself, resurrected it. Obviously you can school oblivious dogs (in Daniel’s case, that is) in new tricks.

Naomi Campbell will appear in the season finale of Ugly Betty. She’ll play herself – no word yet on if her cameo will include a tantrum, choice words, community service or her usual playing card, good old-fashioned violence.
