The idea of seeing a fashion show in Riyadh fascinates me! From what I've heard, Dubai is the shopping capitol of the universe, which is noteworthy, because this is a part of the world where women are expected to cover themselves from head to toe. Dubai Fashion Week would be an excellent change of pace if I could afford the plane tickets and the cost of staying in a hotel room with solid gold toilets.

Dubai Fashion Week will take place from the 5th to 9th of October, 2008 at the Godolphin Ball Room in Jumeirah Emirates Towers, another good reason to visit if you're middling royalty (Jumeirah owns the Essex House in Manhattan, the hotel I got married in, and their service and amenities are completely peerless). Designers that showed in Riyadh at the most recent Fashion Week in March include Amal Murad and Hend Halawani, who design high-end hijab, Arifa Ali, who presented red-carpet worthy draped gowns that reminded me of Rami Kashou's collection at New York Fashion week, Deeya Nanda, whose collection looks like she designs for rock royalty, and Lamia Asudari, whose ideal customer seems to be a hot mom (you know the acronym) with a penchant for science fiction movies.

I love the fact that ancient and modern, Eastern and Western, modest and sexy are all mixed up. It's even better that most of the designers in this masculine-dominated world are women. But my favorite collection for clothes I would actually wear is Charu Parashar, whose fall palette of plum, gold ,grey and periwinkle was so sophisticated it would suit royalty (and it probably will do that, literally).

Ms. Parashar's fall fashion show was clearly influenced by her Indian background and consisted of modern interpretations of classic Indian dress merged with a hippie look featuring flowing skirts, ombre and wallpaper pattern fabric and offbeat accessories. It kind of looks like the teenaged daughter of a Bollywood superstar raided her grandma's suitcase and put together something fabulous. It's so against the perfect stylist aesthetic that I just have to love it. I can't wait to see what she shows for spring!

Everyone knows that having a baby in Hollywood means big bucks for the parents. Stars like Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba, Jamie Lynn Spears and Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes have all made million dollar deals with magazines for exclusive rights to the first baby pics. But one Hollywood couple that won't be selling their baby pics is Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. They recently turned down a million dollar offer for the first pics of their baby girl, Sunday Rose. The couple says that they haven't decided whether to release a photo of Sunday yet or not, but when they do it will be for free and not for profit.

Of course, the bidding war for the first baby pics of Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline is just warming up now that the Jolie-Pitt twins are here. It's down to OK! and People Magazine and it seems that neither publication wants to back down. Now whoever wins the bidding war is not only guaranteed a hot-selling cover, but is also entitled to major bragging rights. Rumor is that bidding has reached $15 million dollars and is still going up.

Adding fuel to Jennifer Lopez's rep as a diva is the latest rumor that she only dresses her twins in designer outfits once before tossing the clothes aside. Now, baby designer duds may be small, but they don't come cheap. And why would a baby not want to be seen in the same onesie twice, know what I mean?

And guess who has an open relationship in Hollywood? Well, I'm sure there are plenty of Hollywood couples with open relationships, but I'm referring to power couple, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith. According to Will Smith the secret to their happy marriage is complete honesty... about who they want to sleep with. Yes, it seems that both Will and Jada believe that it is completely natural to be attracted to other people and to act on those desires, so as long as they're both honest about it, they don't see anything wrong with it. Although rumors of Will and Jada living a swinger lifestyle have come up before, this is the first time that either of them has addressed the rumors head-on.

Ebony Fashion Fair is the world's largest traveling fashion show. Conceived in 1958 by high society African-American women as a way to bring high fashion to their community at a time when segregation still existed, and currently celebrating its 50th anniversary, Ebony Fashion Fair is a chance for women of all backgrounds around the country to see high-end designers locally while benefiting over 180 non-profit scholarship funds. Each year features a theme, such as The Mood of Romance, The Jazz Age of Fashion, or Glam Odyssey.

Mrs. Eunice W. Johnson, producer-director of Ebony Fashion Fair, is kind of the black community's Fern Mallis. She's the first African-American fashion buyer to go to Paris, according to Ebony Fashion Fair's website, only her productions have raised over 54 million dollars for charities to date, as opposed to merely benefiting commercial sponsors. Ebony Fashion Fair is also credited with creating the first African-American supermodel, Pat Cleveland. Some other high profile people who have been connected with the production over the years include actor Richard Roundtree, Janet Langhart Cohen (wife of former Defense Secretary William S. Cohen), and Sue Simmons, one of our favorite local newscasters in the New York City television market. Fashion Fair cosmetics, another project of the Johnson family, is the world's number one cosmetics line for women of color, got its name from Ebony Fashion Fair, and has shared many models with the fashion show.

One of the local appearances of Ebony Fashion Fair in my area will be in Atlantic City, at the Taj Mahal Casino on September 13, 2008. This date immediately follows New York Fashion Week, and it's a hike from Bryant Park, but it's worth seeing, since such designers as Anna Sui, Carolina Herrera, Luca Luca, Tracy Reese, Missoni, Pauline Trigere, Roberto Cavalli, Lacroix, Ungaro, and the holy trinity of Dior, Givenchy and Yves Saint Laurent have all been featured there. Though you can get by at New York Fashion Week with jeans, a black top and a good bag and shoes, if you're headed to Ebony Fashion Fair, make an effort or you'll embarrass yourself.

Did Katherine Heigl stick a nail in her own coffin when she withdrew her name from this year's Emmy nominations? There are reports that the writers of Grey's Anatomy have written Katherine's character, Izzie, a doozy of a storyline for the upcoming season and may even write her character off completely. Fans of Grey's Anatomy will be shocked to hear that Izzie will suffer from a potentially fatal brain tumor. Ouch!

The good thing is that Izzie's brain tumor will cause her to have visions of her dead fiance, Denny Duquette. This, of course, is great news for the actor who plays Denny, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, seeing as how he recently split up from his girlfriend, Mary Louise Parker. Can't wait!

And one Hollywood actor who doesn't seem to have any trouble moving on with his life even though he's just split from his longtime girlfriend Drew Barrymore, is Justin Long. Justin was seen out on the town with Kirsten Dunst recently and it looked like the two of them were awfully chummy. Kirsten was seen cuddling up to Justin, holding hands and even stealing a few kisses. Wonder what Drew thinks about this?

Recent photos of Sarah Jessica Parker's show the Sex and the City star sans her trademark mole. Is it a really good cover-up job or did she really have her mole removed? Sarah Jessica Parker isn't saying anything about it yet, but she sure has tongues wagging in the gossip circles.

You can catch the latest celebrity baby photos on the cover of OK! Magazine. Jessica Alba reportedly sold the exclusive rights to Honor Marie's first baby pics to the mag for a cool $1.5 million. Now granted, Honor isn't exactly a Jolie-Pitt baby, but I have to say that she is awfully cute, even if she does seem to take after her daddy, Cash Warren, in the looks department. Jessica also reveals in the exclusive cover story that she opted for a silent birth, which means there was none of the usual screaming and cursing that can accompany child birth. And to think that Jessica isn't even a Scientologist!

Hollywood's funniest couple isn't laughing together anymore. Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman announced their split via their reps this week. There was no reason given for the split other than the fact that it was a mutual decision between Jimmy and Sarah. News of the split comes as a shock to fans of the couple. In fact, they just celebrated their five year anniversary a few months ago and everything seemed to be going well. They'd each made a funny video about sleeping with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck that became wildly popular online... and now this.

Angelina Jolie gave birth to the newest Jolie-Pitt babies in France this past weekend. She and Brad Pitt named their fraternal twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. Now, I have to give Brangelina props for picking some pretty cool names - not too outrageous, but not your everyday names either. Although I predict we're going to see a surge in little boys being named Knox from now on, don't you think? Angelina and the twins are staying in the hospital for a few more days while the twins add on a little weight, but other than that everything seems to have gone perfectly. Congrats to Brad and Angie!

Is Khloe Kardashian going to be this year's Paris Hilton ? Well, it looks like she's going to have to do time for last year's DUI arrest and apparently the judge wants to make an example out of her by making her serve her time. She was originally sentenced to do 30 days, but sources are predicting that she'll probably end up serving less than a day. Ok, so maybe she's not going to be exactly like poor Paris Hilton.

And finally, we've all heard the reports of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony claiming to want to raise their twin babies, Max and Emme, on their own without the help of nannies. Well it seems that the real reason for that statement is because Jennifer and Marc can't hold onto a nanny to save their lives. Could it be that J-Lo expects too much from the nannies? She apparently wants one nanny to care for both babies and to work 16 hour days, 7 days a week. It seems a bit much considering the fact that she could easily afford a whole fleet of nannies and have them rotate.

Have you ever seen a picture of a celebrity and wondered what they were thinking when they got dressed that day? Just because a person is a celebrity, does not mean that they always dress the best. Sometimes they get too outrageous in theiroutfits and maybe they think they can start a fashion trend, but it ends up being a huge fashion disaster. Now, everyone has probably worn an outfit and then looked back on it and said, "why did I wear that?" but celebrities are different. They know that the public is watching them all the time and most of them have access to personal stylists.

Let's look at a couple celebrities who have missed the fashion bus lately.

Brooke Shields was seen wearing what looked like a long, pink toga when she went out to dinner in California. And to top off the whole outfit, she paired the ugly, shapeless dress with hot pink Crocs. She looked like one of her daughters playing dress up in their mom's clothing.

Denise Richards was out shopping in New York in what looked like an I Dream Of Genie-inspired outfit. The outfit was all white with some beaded detail on the top and skirt. The top looked like a white halter-bikini top and the skirt was a long, white, flowing skirt. Why would it be necessary to be shopping in New York dressed like you were going to the beach?

Kelly Ripa was seen at an event in New York wearing what looked like a black peacock as a dress. The dress was all crazy black feathers and shag material with gold rings on it. It was quite awful.

Maggie Gyllenhaal wore what looked like a green, checkered muumuu with shiny, black balloon pants underneath to an event in New York City. There must be something about New York that makes celebrities choose awful outfits.

Michelle Trachtenberg was seen at an event in New York wearing a short, sparkly mini-dress with butterflies on it. She paired the dress, which was purple with huge butterflies, with black tights to make the outfit even more ridiculous.

There are a ton more examples of celebrities making horrible fashion choices, but then again, who hasn't made a bad fashion choice at least once?

Who wears short shorts? Celebrities do, that's who. So many celebrities have been seen walking around this summer in short shorts. I guess if they have the body, which they do, why not show it off? There are a couple different trends for the shorts among them.

People like Nicole Richie, Kate Moss, and Nicky Hilton have sported the frayed look for their short shorts. To get this look, all you have to do is cut a pair of your jeans into tiny little shorts and wash in the washing machine and they will come out with the fray on the bottom of them. Pair your frayed short shorts with a tunic or sleeveless tank and you are all set. And then you too can look like a celebrity.

Another trend with the short shorts with celebrities are the cuffed shorts. Stars such as Hayden Panettiere, Audrina Patridge, Mariah Carey, and Lindsay Lohan have all sported cuffed short shorts. But beware! Some of the shorts these celebs have been wearing cost $160 and much more. A little much for a pair of barely there shorts, right?

Dressing like a celebrity does not have to cost as much as you think it would. You can get a pair of 575 Denim shorts for just $117!

A couple of celebrities have come out with clothing lines and accessories that can fit into most people's budgets, and they even wear the clothing themselves. Amanda Bynes has released a clothing line for a store called Steve and Barry's, in which nothing is over $30. Amanda was seen wearing one of her blue strapless dresses from her own line. The dress only retails for $11. Another celebrity that has come out with affordable fashion is Tori Spelling. She sells affordable jewelry on the Home Shopping Network. She comes up with inexpensive costume jewelry that she also wears herself. So, who says that you have to break the bank to look like a celebrity, instead just buy the celebrities' fashions that they sell.

It looks like Madonna will have a special guest joining her when she goes on tour later this year! And you know when Madonna does something, she does it in a big way. So it's not surprise that it will be Britney Spears joining Madonna. Yes, that Britney Spears. Should we expect more lip locks like the one at the MTV Music Awards back in 2003 or not? We'll just have to wait and see what kind of tricks Madonna has up her sleeve this time.

And is Nicole Richie back to her hard partying ways even though she is a new mother now? TMZ reports that Nicole was booted from the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas for rowdiness and fighting with another female. Sheesh, whatever happened to turning over a new leaf?

It's only been five months since Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins Max and Emme, but she's already done the requisite celebrity bikini shot that new mothers in Hollywood do to prove that they're still desirable and in excellent shape. Jennifer was spotted wearing a string bikini while on a luxury yacht in Italy.

Nick Cannon is denying the rumors that his marriage to Mariah Carey is on shaky ground. In fact, he's even said that marriage is the best thing that's every happened to him. I don't know - I'd give this one at least till the end of the year before Nick considers running for the hills from Mariah's diva ways.

Andrew Firestone, heir to the Firestone fortune, tied the knot with girlfriend Ivana Bozilovic last weekend. Andrew was a former contestant on The Bachelor and picked Jen Schefft as the winner and even proposed marriage to her. However, the engagement didn't work out (as they rarely do on The Bachelor).

And finally, Lindsay Lohan celebrated her 22nd birthday this past week (yes, she's only 22!) and it looks like she might have finally admitted to being in a relationship with rumored girlfriend, Samantha Ronson. She said she wanted to continue on the path that she's on with the person that she cares about. The two later partied it up at Disneyland and Teddy's Nightclub.

By now you've heard that the '90s television hit show, Beverly 90210, is coming back and bringing some of its former stars with it. Rumor has it that Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth will both have roles in the updated version of 90210, but guess who else producers are trying to get to come back as well? That's right, bad girl, Shannon Doherty. Apparently, Shannon has met with producers of the new show and if she likes the story (and the studio offers her the money she's looking for), Brenda Walsh just might be storming the streets of Beverly Hills again. Like how totally cool!

Cameron Diaz and her model boyfriend, Paul Sculfor, are shacking up already. Since Paul doesn't have a home in LA, he's been crashing at Cameron's million dollar home. Considering the fact that these two haven't been an item for very long, things seem to be moving pretty fast even by Hollywood standards.

And I guess it's true that best friends really do like to do everything together. Naomi Watts is expecting baby #2 with husband, Liev Schrieber, which means that she and her famous Aussie BFF, Nicole Kidman are both pregnant at the same time and the babies will be less than a year apart.

George Clooney sure knows how to keep his ex-girlfriend's happy. In a recent interview with Hello! Magazine, George's ex, Sarah Larson, couldn't say enough good things about George. She claims they're still friends and that they actually keep in touch. Sarah isn't wasting any time looking back or lamenting what could've been - instead she's concentrating on taking advantage of her new status and maybe even meeting a British boy sometime in the near future.

A-list actress Nicole Kidman and country star Keith Urban welcomed their brand new baby girl into the world this past week. They promptly named her Sunday Rose which isn't really as bad of a name as it could've been, but it's still a little out there. There are rumblings that the baby's name could actually be a jab at Tom Cruise's religion, Scientology. Could it be that Nicole is still a little bitter about the whole divorce even this many years later?

London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2009 will be held from September 14-19, 2008, and possibly the oddest fashion show to see there is Allegra Hicks. Allegra Hicks first showed at London Fashion Week in 2005, but her background is interior design and textile design, and it shows in her architecturally-influenced fashion. She's a lifestyle brand more than anything (it's like if Martha Stewart suddenly started showing at New York Fashion Week, and that's not a comparison I'm making lightly - their palettes are virtually identical), so in some ways she doesn't fit in at all, but in other ways her outsider status makes for a visually pleasing and wearable, if tame, collection.

Hicks' regular collection has the appearance of a resort collection, featuring a large number of caftans mixed in with short, flirty sundresses, a bikini or two and some very posh shorts sets. These items featured tropical-influenced prints in black and white, teal and white, brown and cream, and my favorite, pink and brown, a timelessly retro-chic color scheme that reminds me of bonbons, Henri Bendel and a lot of the other ladylike good things in life. Her caftans are perfect for lounging around in if you're lucky enough to get invited to Jade Jagger's place in Ibiza, but they're even better if your summer destination is the municipal pool, because with a pair of big black sunglasses they'll make you look like a movie star.

Hicks' collection is clean, modern and graphic, but it definitely gives off an ice princess vibe. I wouldn't say there's anything sexy about it, and it skews older to me - young girls would look fine in it, but it seems made for the elegant woman "of a certain age" who never gets her hands dirty because she has staff to deal with the messy stuff for her. According to the London Fashion Week website, Ms. Hicks says that her new collection was inspired by Myrna Loy in The Thin Man, and describes it as"bohemian attitude, prints, and simple elegance." Very rich hippy rock-star royalty fantasy life, with price tags to match, as the primary retailers for Allegra Hicks are Harrods and Harvey Nicks in the UK and Searle and Saks in the US, but a flagship store will be opening in Los Angeles later this year.

Matthew McConaughey is finally a dad! Matthew and his girlfriend, Camila Alves, welcomed their beautiful baby boy into the world on Monday night. No word on a name yet, but being a celebrity baby, chances that the name will be something like Trailer Park Surfer are pretty good.

Madonna and *Guy Ritchie*'s divorce just keeps getting messier and messier. It seems that Madonna has been having some sort of an affair with none other than famed baseball player, Alex Rodriguez. It's no surprise that there are rumors that Madonna used Kaballah to persuade A-Rod that the two of them were soul mates and destined to be together. A-Rod is, of course, going through his own messy divorce with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Cynthia Rodriguez. Cynthia hasn't wasted anytime socking it to Alex by fueling rumors that she and rocker Lenny Kravitz have a thing going on and then flying off to Paris and indulging in extravagant shopping sprees. I'm sure we'll be hearing about these two couples for some time.

And here's one that nobody saw coming - Drew Barrymore has split from her boyfriend of one year, the cute Mac Guy, Justin Long. Besides indulging in a lot of PDA around LA, everyone thought that Drew and Justin were actually one of the most down-to-earth couples in Hollywood. They of course, are vowing to stay friends, but we all know how the friend thing goes after you've been in a relationship with someone.

Another couple who made a trip to Splitsville USA this past week are supermodel, Kate Moss and her rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince. The Daily Mirror reports that the couple had a major fight over the 4th of July holiday weekend and that Jamie has since moved his belongings out of Kate's London home. Ouch.

And guess who is in talks to develop her own reality TV show? The infamous high-priced call girl, Ashley Duprey, who was rocketed to fame after it was reported that she was part of the Eliot Spritzer scandal. Rumor has it that the 23-year-old wants her own reality dating show, sort of like Tila Tequila's MTV show.

The one shoulder dress has returned with celebrities.

Several celebrities have been seen wearing one shoulder dresses at events and parties. The one shoulder dress highlights the arms and the back and keeps the look sophisticated. Kate Moss is very into one shoulder dresses. Liv Tyler was seen wearing a one shoulder dress by Stella McCartney to the Incredible Hulk premiere. Other celebrities that glam it up in one shoulder dresses are Mandy Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Charlize Theron, Paris Hilton, Anne Hathaway and Becki Newton. The one shoulder dress is not the only article of clothing that is trendy with celebrities right now. Look out for one shoulder tops and blouses and also one shoulder bathing suits.

Yellow, yellow and more yellow. It seems like everywhere you turn you see someone wearing this bright summertime color. Yellow is huge among celebrities right now. Molly Sims wore a long yellow Versace dress on the red carpet, while Emmy Rossum sported a short yellow Phillip Lim dress to an event. The most dramatic yellow dress was worn by Rihanna. The dress was a long layered tiered dress by Giambattista Valli. She looked like she could have been Belle from "Beauty and the Beast." Shirts and shoes in yellow are also very trendy right now. If you are unsure about wearing a yellow dress, opt for a yellow shirt or add a splash of color to an outfit with yellow shoes. Just don't pair your yellow with too much black, as you may end up looking like a bumblebee.

I have a pair of stilettos. They make me feel sexy. They are black and shiny, and I wear them with my little black dress. Admittedly, I don't get to wear them much, but I do like to wear them. When I'm looking at them, I marvel how they make my legs look longer, and the fact that the way I have to stand in them forces my butt to tighten. The way they are made enhances sexiness by the mere act of wearing them. Good stuff.

Another thing I like about stilettos is the way they remind me of the high-class sophisticated ladies of the 1950s and 1960s black and white movies. When I wear them, I really feel like Audrey Hepburn: classy with a string of pearls and hair in a glossy up-do. And it kind of makes sense. The 1950s was the first decade to really see the popularity of the stiletto, as they came into fashion with their heels narrowing to a small point. You know, like the stiletto knife. The fact that they came on the scene when they did, is reason enough for my stilettos to conjure images of black and white glamour. (Yes, glamour - with the "ou".)

These days, though, stilettos are no longer made with the heavy metals used in the first stilettos; now they're light. Some stilettos are even made with the same kind of lightweight aluminum that is used when making fuselages for airplanes. The strength is necessary, or the spiked heel would buckle under the pressure of being worn. Even the plastic tip that used be on the end of the heel couldn't stand the pressure, and often wore off. (Back in the 50s, 60s, and 70s, many workplaces had special covers for stiletto heels. This kept the metal point from ripping the carpet and scratching the floors after the plastic tip fell off.)

Stilettos are perhaps the sexiest shoe alive. And they are certainly made to evoke images of sophistication and class. And anyone can feel good wearing them. In fact, I think I'll go put mine on now. So I can feel sexy while I made dinner.

In an interview with US Weekly, Heidi Montag announced that what she most wants in life is to record a Christian music album. There are so many things wrong with the sentence that I don't even know where to start.

First, why does US Weekly keep interviewing Heidi Montag? She and boyfriend, Spencer Pratt, must have some dirt on somebody there, because they keep interviewing her and even putting her on the cover, even though the two have no talent between them and everybody hates them.

Secondly, why does Heidi insist on pursuing a music career when her last attempt at recording a CD was a miserable failure? Now, maybe she's thinking she'll take a cue from Jessica Simpson and try switching music genres to gain a little momentum. But she forgets that you actually have to have some musical talent to start with! And she's even claiming that she and Spencer want to travel to Africa to feed children and build "things." What kind of things, Heidi?

You know that she doesn't have a clue and she's hoping that by mentioning the bible in every interview, it will count for something with the Christian music crowd. Never mind the fact that she's considered one of MTV's worst villains and that she's been filmed lying, cheating, backstabbing, living and sleeping with her boyfriend and is incredibly shallow and self-centered. Yeah, that'll go over real well when she's trying to break into Christian music.

In other blonde news, Britney Spears was finally granted overnight visits with her boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James. You've got to hand it to Britney, she's really making an effort to straighten her life out. It seems like things have only gotten better since she kicked her good-for-nothing friend/manager, Sam Lufti, out of her life and her dad stepped in to oversee her career and finances.

And there is a lot of gossip going on about the cast of Gossip Girls, but it's not the girls that people are interested in. Instead, people are wondering if Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick are more than "just friends." Chace has been linked with American Idol-winner Carrie Underwood and, most recently, to JC Chasez. We'll see how this story develops.

They always say that fashion tends come back someday and I guess they are right. Celebrities have been seen sporting Members Only jackets. If you are old enough to remember, Members Only jackets were very popular and trendy back in the '80s. Well, the leather and nylon jackets are making a comeback with the celebrities of today.

Fergie was seen sporting a purple nylon Members Only jacket when she performed on The Today Show. She later paired an ivory Members Only jacket with a dress at the premiere of Sex and the City in New York. Most people think that scarves are just for the winter time, but apparently celebrities like to wear them in summer also. So many celebrities have been seen sporting scarves around their neck in the summer months. Now, with some of the heat waves we have been experiencing, I'm not sure this is one trend that I want to follow.

The brand Love Quotes is a very popular pick among celebrities for scarves. Rachel Bilson, Lauren Conrad, Nicky Hilton, Hilary Duff and Amanda Bynes have been seen wearing scarves from Love Quotes. The scarves come in a wide range of colors from cherry pie to haze. They retail for $85. The scarves can be worn several different ways: wrapped around the neck several times. wrapped once and hanging loose and wrapped around the neck and then bundled together in the front.

Red is always a hot color, but more and more celebrities have been seen sporting red on the red carpet. Stars such as Molly Sims, Debra Messing, Christie Brinkley and Renee Zellweger have all worn red dresses lately. Sara Ramirez wore a red David Mesiter strapless dress to a charity auction and she looked wonderful in the dress. If you want to try the red trend, then get ready to attract attention!

As if Lindsay Lohan 's life wasn't already drama-filled, her dad, Michael Lohan, just dropped a major bomb on her and the rest of the Lohan clan. It seems that Michael hooked up with another woman during one of his "off" periods with ex-wife Dina Lohan and actually fathered a daughter with the other woman. Which means that somewhere out there is a Lohan half-sister that the world didn't know about. Michael Lohan has said that his love child even has some of the classic Lohan features. Wonder how LiLo is going to handle this one? And more importantly, how does the secret Lohan sister feel about being a Lohan? Of course, Michael is really only a father in the technical sense, he hasn't provided any sort of financial support to the other daughter (not that he provides any financial support to his kids with Dina either).

Russell Simmons will have to fork over $40,000 a month in child support to Kimora Lee Simmons for his two daughters. Now $40,000 is about what most regular people make in a year, much less in a month. I guess baby fur coats and kiddie spa treatments don't come cheap these days.

Mary-Kate Olsen made an appearance on Letterman for her new movie, The Wackness, where she revealed that she actually went to school with one-half of the World's Most Hated and Vomit-Inducing Couple, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag. Apparently, Spencer had a reputation even in his high school days. She said that he was on the soccer team and would often lose his temper and walk off the field during games. She even agreed when Letterman asked her if she thought Spencer was "wormy." Spencer, ever the gentleman, responded to Mary-Kate's comment by saying that it must be tough being the less-attractive Olsen twin. I think he's forgetting that Mary-Kate could buy him up in a heartbeat if she wanted to.

And guess who's playing matchmaker for Britney Spears now? Her buddy, *Mel Gibson*! It seems that Mel is eager to set Britney up with one of his sons. He thinks the two would have a lot in common seeing as how they've both had stints in rehab. Yeah, somehow I don't think that's the kind of thing you want to lead with when you're trying to set two people up. Thank goodness that Britney was smart enough to say, "No thanks."

Paris Bennett's pregnancy, Paris Hilton's new album, Ruben Studdard ties the knot and Uma Thurman's engagement.

A former American Idol contestant has a baby on the way and it's not Clay Aiken! Paris Bennett, the petite-sized contestant who blew the American Idol judges away with her big voice and stage presence has a bun in the oven. Her lips are sealed as to who the baby's daddy is, but sources say that her mom is thrilled that Paris waited as long as she did before getting pregnant (she gave birth to Paris when she was just a teenager as well).

The other Paris - Hilton that is - has a project in the works too. Paris is said to be working with boyfriend, Benji Madden, on a follow-up to the debut album she released a couple years ago. Not only that, but she is also writing the theme song to her new reality show and will perform it herself.

Ruben Studdard may have been dumped by his record label, but that doesn't mean this American Idol winner is unhappy. The Velvet Teddy Bear, as he's affectionately known, tied the knot last week with his girlfriend, Surata Zuri McCants. The two met at an Atlanta Wal-Mart back in 2006 and have been together ever since. Ruben wasn't the only one to make it down the aisle last week though - funny man Chris Kattan also married his model girlfriend, Sunshine Tutt. Chris and Sunshine have been dating since 2005.

In more wedding news, will the third time be a charm for Uma Thurman ? Let's hope so. The actress recently announced her engagement to boyfriend Arpad "Arki" Busson. Arpad presented Uma with a stunning eight-plus carat ring when he asked her to marry him. Arpad and Uma - that ought to look interesting stenciled on the side of their mailbox.

And there are new details surfacing as to why George Clooney broke things off so quickly with his ex-girlfriend, Sarah Larson. It seems that after Sarah moved in with George she began to consider herself the lady of the house. Sources say she may have gone as far as cutting back on the tips that the servants received. When George finally caught wind of what was going on, he gave Sarah the boot.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is the world's most eagerly anticipated fashion show in the world ... if you're a heterosexual male, that is. Held on November 15, 2008 at the newly renovated Fontainbleau in Miami Beach, it will also be televised in December for the viewing pleasure of big dreamers everywhere. If you're a doer and not a dreamer, read on, because now you have a chance to go there in person.

Charity Buzz (www.charitybuzz.com) is a site that auctions off high-end stuff, and more importantly, high-end experiences, for the benefit of charity. They are currently auctioning off a pair of tickets to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The excellent seats come with passes to the exclusive VIP after-show party, and besides the fashion, there will be an A-list musical performance (artist to be announced, but previous appearances include Seal, Justin Timberlake, Ricky Martin, Sting, Mary J. Blige and Destiny's Child).

This auction benefits the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, which is run by Russell Simmons and his brothers. It is dedicated to providing disadvantaged urban youth with exposure and access to the arts and giving under-represented and minority artists exhibition opportunities. Rush Philanthropic has hosted the Art for Life benefit and auction at Russell Simmons's East Hampton home to raise money for its mentoring, grants and exhibitions for the past eight years, and now Charity Buzz has the online version through July 23.

The current high bid on the Victoria's Secret fashion show auction is
$8,500, and they're looking for an increase of $1,000. Don't bid unless you're really serious about it, because the bid is legally binding. (They make you register for the site before you bid, so don't worry about accidentally spending your rent money for the year either.)

And if you prefer your models and your fashion one on one rather than walking down the runway at a fashion show, other lots include a date to a New York Knicks game with Petra Nemcova, a guest appearance on the Tyra Banks show and a Christian Dior fuschiaSamurai bag. Not all the lots are fashion-related, though; I'm about to go bid on a one week apprenticeship with Russell Simmons so I can learn how to afford a roomful of Louis Vuitton like Kimora Lee.

Could Britney Spears be getting ready to perform at this year's MTV Video Music Awards despite her disastrous performance last year? It's sure looking that way. Rumor has it that producers from MTV are saying that they would definitely give Britney a chance to redeem herself. Of course this is after Britney's songs are getting considerable radio play (not to mention the fact that her VMA performance brought in over seven million viewers for MTV last time). I know I'd definitely watch if she gave it another go.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie may indeed be heading towards divorce, but that doesn't mean that they're totally against reconciliation. The Sun is reporting that Guy is willing to do whatever it takes to save his marriage and keep his children's family intact. Of course there are rumors that the whole reason for the split, besides the requisite "we grew apart" thing is that Guy didn't want anything to do with the Madonna's trendy religion, Kaballah, anymore.

And it looks like Paris Hilton finally made good on her promise to be a better person after completing her highly-publicized prison sentence last year. Paris donated a "very generous" but undisclosed sum of money to Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Paris' donation will be geared towards the construction of a brand new Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases. Way to go, Paris!

Speaking of Paris Hilton, guess which celeb supposedly has expressed a desire to pen her own cookbook? Why none other than Paris' BFF, *Nicole Richie*! It seems that since settling down with her rumored fiancé, Joel Madden, and daughter, Harlow, Nicole has developed her domestic side and wants to share her recipes with the world. All this from a girl who didn't eat at all for almost a year.

Cameron Diaz was seen sporting a very large and glittery ring on her ring finger after leaving popular hot-spot Nobu last week. Could it be that her relationship with model Paul Sculfor is more than a passing fling and that they could really be getting serious? Now we'll have to watch and see who makes it down the aisle first - Justin Timberlake or Cameron Diaz.

Quite a few celebrities are cutting off their locks and opting for a new shorter hairstyle. With the hot months of summer ahead, cutting your hair now is not a bad idea. There are plenty of different short styles so you can pick the one that would look the best on you. There are angled bobs, layered bobs and pixie cuts just for example. If you do choose to cut your hair like a celebrity, remember that short hair needs to be trimmed more often to retain its style and cut.

Gwyneth Paltrow is probably the best example of a celebrity cutting their hair into a shorter style. Gwyneth cut off approximately 10 inches of her hair, so now it lands right above her shoulders. She went from really long straight hair to a short style with long layers. She has been seen wearing her hair wavy and straight.

Anne Hathaway is another celebrity who just cut off your locks. She went from long hair, down several inches past her shoulders, to a cut above her shoulders. She also has been seen wearing her new shorter do both curly and straight. Her hair is naturally curly, so layers were cut into her hair to make it more manageable. If you have naturally curly hair and want a short hair cut, I would recommend taking a peak at Anne's hair before heading to the salon.

Several other celebrities are rocking the short hairdos also. Katie Holmes cut her hair into a short bob a while back and recently cut it even shorter. I think that she looks more grown up with her new style and definitely does not look like Joey Potter from Dawson's Creek anymore.

Michelle Williams also has been sporting a short pixie cut for a while too. Her short blonde locks are an extreme for most people, but it does suit her well. Other stars who are sporting the short cuts include Tori Spelling, Sophia Bush, Kerry Washington, Rihanna and Christina Ricci.

So I say, go ahead and take the plunge. Follow the trend and cut your hair. There are always extensions. Isn't that what stars do anyway?
