Wouldn't you love to be a celebrity and be able to gain 30 pounds for a role? Well, apparently that is the way that actor Matt Damon feels. He says that it was "very, very, easy to gain the weight," for his role in the new movie The Informant. He added 30 pounds to his weight by feasting on anything that he wanted and he didn't hit the gym for several months. The movie is based on a true story about a vice president of an agricultural company turning into an FBI informant. The only problem with gaining 30 pounds is that he had to lose them again. He did show up at the Venice Film Festival looking back to his normal svelte body.

Another celebrity who will also be looking forward to losing some weight is actress Marley Shelton, who gave birth to her first child on September 6. West Flynn (it's a girl) weighed in at 9lbs and was 21 inches long. Marley's husband Beau Flynn, released a statement saying, "She's an absolutely miraculous, gorgeous bundle of pure love," and that mother, father and baby are "doing great." The couple announced the pregnancy back in March. Shelton recently starred in the television series the Eleventh Hour and can be seen in the movie A Perfect Getaway. Congrats to Marley and Beau!

While speaking about weight, one celebrity who was able to lose the baby weight was Ashlee Simpson after the birth of her 10 month old son Bronx. She is currently filming scenes for the resurrected Melrose Place series and has been making her talk show rounds and spilling some secrets that are better left unsaid. Simpson told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show that she "could do the splits when I was nine months pregnant." She added, "I could put my leg over my head still. I used to be a ballerina." Who else thinks that is just way too much information?

An inside source told the magazine, "His friends are telling people it's over." Another source echoed that saying, "They have been moving in different directions for a while." Apparently mixing business with pleasure is what hurt the couple the most. A friend of the couple said, "Janet felt their lives were too crossed and they should have kept things separate." Another reason for the long time couple's break up was that they were just too opposite of people. Janet is on the shy side, while Jermaine likes to be out with the crowds, talking and mingling with others. Currently Janet is busy helping to care for Michael's three kids, but is "devastated" at the breakup.

It appears that since breaking up with her ex-husband Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson is only getting her heart broken. First, John Mayer and now Tony Romo. Worst of all, Romo dumped Jessica the day before her 29th birthday. "Jessica was really blindsided," says a family friend. "She's sad, mad, and confused. Her emotions are all over the place." The couple started dating back in November 2007 and Jessica has said that she could picture herself marrying Tony. Poor Jessica, while her sister Ashlee enjoys marriage and her son, Jessica seems to not be able to get a break with guys. Maybe she should have realized what she had with her husband Nick Lachey. Could this karma coming back to haunt her?

On a happier note, G.I. Joe star Channing Tatum married his Step Up costar Jenna Dewan last week in Malibu. The pair wed in front off 220 guests which included bridesmaid Haylie Duff and her boyfriend Nick Zano. Their outdoor ceremony at a beachfront estate was followed by a sit-down reception in a tent on the same estate. The couple first met on the set of Step Up in 2006. Justin Timberlake has confirmed on the Oprah Winfrey Show that he is not engaged at this time to Jessica Biel. There have been some rumors going around that the duo was engaged, but apparently that is just not the case. He told Oprah that, "I'm not engaged. If she's engaged, we have a problem."

She told the Associated Press that, "I don't know if I live or die. I don't know how Izzie fares." She also went on to that filming Grey's Anatomy is one of her favorite things and if the producers allow Izzie to live, she will be right there on the set filming. There has been speculation that the actress was leaving Grey's Anatomy to focus on her movie career. Heigl says that it is not true and she has no problem working on her movies during her summer hiatus from Grey's Anatomy.

The Fox Network is teaming up with the producers of the Bachelor to cast a new dating show for "average looking" people. The show will be called "More to Love." Not only will average people be on the show, but they will also have overweight contestants vying for love. It will basically have the same premise as the Bachelor with a group of woman vying for the love of one man. Mike Fleiss who will be the producer of the show calls it "the dating show for the rest of us."

As actress Anne Heche prepares for her arrival of her baby with boyfriend and former co-star, James Tupper, her divorce from her ex-husband Coley Laffoon has been finalized. An agreement on spousal support is what held up the divorce finalization. It has been agreed that Heche will pay Laffoon a lump sum of $515,000. She will also pay him $3,700 a month for child support for their son Homer, 6. Heche and Laffoon wed back in 2001 and filed for divorce in February 2007. She couldn't even wait until her divorce was finalized before getting pregnant with another man's baby?

It looks like Mischa Barton will be joining the dating scene again. Mischa blogged that she broke up with her musician boyfriend Luke Pritchard. She wrote on the blog, "I'm sure you guys are all going to hear about it soon enough, so I just wanted to tell you what is real first -- I broke up with Luke when I got to London." She went on, writing, "There was no cheating or anything terrible, the bad just started to outweigh the good, and a long-distance relationship is never an easy thing to do." Another Hollywood baby has entered the world. Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz welcomed their baby boy into the world on November 20. The baby boy, who has been named Bronx Mowgli Wentz, weighed in at 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. A rep for the couple added that both mom and baby are doing well and are healthy. I'm guessing that one of the parents likes New York for the first name, and the other parent likes The Jungle Book. I personally think that this celebrity baby name is not that bad, as there have been a lot worse and stranger names that celebrities have picked for their baby.

It appears that another celebrity baby is going to be joining Bronx. Tobey Maguire and his wife Jen Meyer are expecting their second child. The couple already has a two-year-old daughter named Ruby. There has been no official report on when the baby is due, but having seen pictures of the couple lately, I'm guessing that she is still early in the pregnancy and this will be a late spring baby.

Is Stephanie Tanner from Full House headed for a second divorce? Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner, has legally separated from her husband, Cody Herpin. Sweetin married Herpin back in July 2007 and gave birth to their daughter this past April. During her pregnancy, Sweetin was always talking about how great her husband was and that they were even working on projects together. Now, a short time later, Sweetin has filed papers in court to get a legal separation from him. Jodie Sweetin had been married before to a cop from 2002 to 2006. Wedding bells rang last Saturday for Ashlee Simpson and the trapped-for-now Pete Wentz. The couple tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony at Joe and Tina Simpson's LA home. The wedding was truly a family affair with dad, Joe Simpson performing the ceremony, sister, Jessica Simpson serving as maid of honor and Pete Wentz's pet dog, Hemingway, as ring-bearer. Then, of course, there's the rumored bun in the oven that may or may not have also been in attendance.

The Simpson-Wentz wedding reception had an Alice in Wonderland theme, which seemed to suit the style of taste of both the bride and groom. Thankfully, there were no drunken outbursts by Jessica Simpson or lip-syncing incidents by the bride. Although, there were reports that the older Simpson sister did engage in some hot & heavy PDA with on-again/off-again boyfriend, Tony Romo.

In a recent interview, Kenny revealed that when he is ready to marry again he'll be sure to give the marriage 150% and not go into it as unprepared as he did the first time around.
