The big celebrity news this week was Morgan Freeman 's car accident in the Mississippi backwoods. From what police officials can tell, Morgan Freeman apparently fell asleep at the wheel and at some point the car went off the road and flipped before landing in a ditch. Morgan Freemen, who can be seen in the summer blockbuster hit, The Dark Knight, had to be freed from the car and its wreckage before being airlifted to a nearby hospital to be treated for a broken arm, broken elbow and shoulder damage. The good news is that at this time, Morgan is doing just fine. The surgery apparently went well and he is recovering as best as can be expected. We wish Morgan a very speedy recovery!

If any two celebrity exes know how to drag out a fight, it's Charlie Sheen and shoe lover Denise Richards . But this time, they're dragging their daughters' pediatrician into the middle of their feud. Apparently, Charlie and Denise disagree on several aspects of their children's lives, and one of those aspects is whether or not their girls, Sam and Lola, should be vaccinated or not. Charlie doesn't agree with vaccinating kids, while Denise thinks vaccinations are absolutely essential. Somehow Denise Richards was able to get her daughters vaccinated without Charlie stopping them. But he did eventually find out! And to retaliate, he decided to pay off his outstanding doctor's bill with a boxful of... nickels. That's right, Charlie Sheen paid off an almost $400 doctor's bill with nickels. If it had been me, I would've gone all the way and just paid it off in pennies.

Angelina Jolie just gave birth, but are she and Brad Pitt gearing up to adopt more kids into their family so soon? According the National Enquirer, they are! The rumor is that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have begun the process to adopt another child from an African country. But they're not stopping there, it looks like they also have plans to adopt a baby from China at some point in the future. That's going to be one full house!

Adding to the celebrity baby boom news are former American Idol contestant, Bo Bice and his wife, Caroline Fisher, who welcomed a new baby boy into their family. They named their son, Caleb. Now while Bo Bice isn't exactly in the A-list category with such celebs as Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt or Julia Roberts, it's still nice to see that some celebrities can actually give their kids normal names and not doom their kids to a life of ridicule.

Is Heath Ledger 's ex, Michelle Williams, getting close with director Spike Jonze ? It sure looks that way. Michelle and Spike have been seen on both the East and West Coasts having intimate dinners, cuddling up and kissing - you know, all the things that couples tend to do. Of course, both of their reps are staying mum on the status of their relationship, but if they really didn't want anyone to know, why would they take the risk of being seen together in public, right?

Pamela Anderson is best known for her face and um, shall we say, other considerable assets. However, it seems that even Pamela is smart enough to know that all beauty is fleeting. Kelsey Grammar gave everyone a scare when he was hospitalized again earlier this week. Kelsey suffered a minor heart attack while on vacation in Hawaii last summer, but had been doing fine since then. The fact that Fox recently canceled his sitcom, Back To You, didn't help matters any, but he seems to be doing better now that his doctors have changed his medications and doses. Here's hoping that Kelsey Grammar gets many, many more years on the small screen.

Transformers star Shia LaBeouf just added another notch to his typical young Hollywood star belt - he was busted early Monday morning for a DUI after crashing into another car while attempting to make a left turn. Both he and the driver of the other car were hospitalized but it seems that none of the injuries were very serious. Poor Shia, whatever hopes he had of not falling into typical young Hollywood behavior are quickly disappearing.

Hollywood's hottest twins, Knox and Vivienne, are going to be getting a superstar godfather. And just who is this new godfather? None other than U2's Bono, of course! It seems that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been friends with Bono for a few years and they also just recently spent an entire week after the twin's birth hanging out at one of Bono's houses. Hmm, I wonder if Bono will get some cool shades for the twins.

Talk about embarrassing! Heidi Montag, resident Hills villainess, was at Kitson signing autographs and promoting her new Heidiwood fashion line, which includes sexy dresses and accessories. The surprising thing is that Heidi's clothes were actually selling out! Hard to believe, especially considering the fact that fan favorite Lauren Conrad's fashion line was reduced to hanging on the clearance rack. When Lauren was approached by TMZ paparazzi about this fact, she of course had no comment.

And finally, Whitney Houston is back in all her diva glory! Whitney's latest track is a duet with Akon titled "Like I Never Left" and in the short time that it's been leaked onto the internet the response has been more than favorable. Could this really be Whitney's comeback? I certainly hope so!

Hollywood party girl Lindsay Lohan was involved in yet another accident after partying hard one night in her dancing shoes. The good thing is that this time it actually wasn't even Lindsay's fault. The story goes that Lindsay was sideswiped by a motorcycle as she exited a club late one night. Although Lindsay was taken to the emergency room as a precaution, she was treated by medical staff and released shortly after. So no worries - Lindsay can now go back to not commenting on her relationship with Samantha "Is she really more than just a friend?" Ronson.

There may be something standing in the way of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel 's fairy-tale happy ending - her future mother-in-law. It seems that Justin Timberlake's mother, Lynn, hasn't taken too well to Jessica Biel. Or rather, Justin's mother hasn't taken too well to Jessica telling Justin that he needs to be less of a mama's boy and more of an adult man. In fact, the problem has gotten to the point where Justin is seriously hesitating about whether or not he should ask Jessica to marry him simply because he doesn't want to do anything to upset his mother. Of course, the bidding war for the first baby pics of Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline is just warming up now that the Jolie-Pitt twins are here. It's down to OK! and People Magazine and it seems that neither publication wants to back down. Now whoever wins the bidding war is not only guaranteed a hot-selling cover, but is also entitled to major bragging rights. Rumor is that bidding has reached $15 million dollars and is still going up.

Adding fuel to Jennifer Lopez's rep as a diva is the latest rumor that she only dresses her twins in designer outfits once before tossing the clothes aside. Did Katherine Heigl stick a nail in her own coffin when she withdrew her name from this year's Emmy nominations? There are reports that the writers of Grey's Anatomy have written Katherine's character, Izzie, a doozy of a storyline for the upcoming season and may even write her character off completely. Fans of Grey's Anatomy will be shocked to hear that Izzie will suffer from a potentially fatal brain tumor. Ouch!

The good thing is that Izzie's brain tumor will cause her to have visions of her dead fiance, Denny Duquette. This, of course, is great news for the actor who plays Denny, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, seeing as how he recently split up from his girlfriend, Mary Louise Parker. Can't wait!

And one Hollywood actor who doesn't seem to have any trouble moving on with his life even though he's just split from his longtime girlfriend Drew Barrymore, is Justin Long. Justin was seen out on the town with Kirsten Dunst recently and it looked like the two of them were awfully chummy. Kirsten was seen cuddling up to Justin, holding hands and even stealing a few kisses. Wonder what Drew thinks about this?

Jessica also reveals in the exclusive cover story that she opted for a silent birth, which means there was none of the usual screaming and cursing that can accompany child birth. Hollywood's funniest couple isn't laughing together anymore. Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman announced their split via their reps this week. There was no reason given for the split other than the fact that it was a mutual decision between Jimmy and Sarah. News of the split comes as a shock to fans of the couple. In fact, they just celebrated their five year anniversary a few months ago and everything seemed to be going well. They'd each made a funny video about sleeping with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck that became wildly popular online... and now this.

Angelina Jolie gave birth to the newest Jolie-Pitt babies in France this past weekend. She and Brad Pitt named their fraternal twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. Now, I have to give Brangelina props for picking some pretty cool names - not too outrageous, but not your everyday names either. Although I predict we're going to see a surge in little boys being named Knox from now on, don't you think? Angelina and the twins are staying in the hospital for a few more days while the twins add on a little weight, but other than that everything seems to have gone perfectly. Congrats to Brad and Angie!

Is Khloe Kardashian going to be this year's Paris Hilton ? Well, it looks like she's going to have to do time for last year's DUI arrest and apparently the judge wants to make an example out of her by making her serve her time. She was originally sentenced to do 30 days, but sources are predicting that she'll probably end up serving less than a day. Ok, so maybe she's not going to be exactly like poor Paris Hilton.

And finally, we've all heard the reports of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony claiming to want to raise their twin babies, Max and Emme, on their own without the help of nannies. Well it seems that the real reason for that statement is because Jennifer and Marc can't hold onto a nanny to save their lives. Could it be that J-Lo expects too much from the nannies? She apparently wants one nanny to care for both babies and to work 16 hour days, 7 days a week. It seems a bit much considering the fact that she could easily afford a whole fleet of nannies and have them rotate.

Nick Cannon is denying the rumors that his marriage to Mariah Carey is on shaky ground. In fact, he's even said that marriage is the best thing that's every happened to him. I don't know - I'd give this one at least till the end of the year before Nick considers running for the hills from Mariah's diva ways.

Andrew Firestone, heir to the Firestone fortune, tied the knot with girlfriend Ivana Bozilovic last weekend. Andrew was a former contestant on The Bachelor and picked Jen Schefft as the winner and even proposed marriage to her. However, the engagement didn't work out (as they rarely do on The Bachelor).

And finally, Lindsay Lohan celebrated her 22nd birthday this past week (yes, she's only 22!) and it looks like she might have finally admitted to being in a relationship with rumored girlfriend, Samantha Ronson. In an interview with US Weekly, Heidi Montag announced that what she most wants in life is to record a Christian music album. There are so many things wrong with the sentence that I don't even know where to start.

First, why does US Weekly keep interviewing Heidi Montag? She and boyfriend, Spencer Pratt, must have some dirt on somebody there, because they keep interviewing her and even putting her on the cover, even though the two have no talent between them and everybody hates them.

Secondly, why does Heidi insist on pursuing a music career when her last attempt at recording a CD was a miserable failure? Now, maybe she's thinking she'll take a cue from Jessica Simpson and try switching music genres to gain a little momentum. But she forgets that you actually have to have some musical talent to start with! And she's even claiming that she and Spencer want to travel to Africa to feed children and build "things." What kind of things, Heidi?

You know that she doesn't have a clue and she's hoping that by mentioning the bible in every interview, it will count for something with the Christian music crowd. Never mind the fact that she's considered one of MTV's worst villains and that she's been filmed lying, cheating, backstabbing, living and sleeping with her boyfriend and is incredibly shallow and self-centered. Yeah, that'll go over real well when she's trying to break into Christian music.

In other blonde news, Britney Spears was finally granted overnight visits with her boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James. You've got to hand it to Britney, she's really making an effort to straighten her life out. It seems like things have only gotten better since she kicked her good-for-nothing friend/manager, Sam Lufti, out of her life and her dad stepped in to oversee her career and finances.

And there is a lot of gossip going on about the cast of Gossip Girls, but it's not the girls that people are interested in. Instead, people are wondering if Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick are more than "just friends." Chace has been linked with American Idol-winner Carrie Underwood and, most recently, to JC Chasez. We'll see how this story develops.

As if Lindsay Lohan 's life wasn't already drama-filled, her dad, Michael Lohan, just dropped a major bomb on her and the rest of the Lohan clan. It seems that Michael hooked up with another woman during one of his "off" periods with ex-wife Dina Lohan and actually fathered a daughter with the other woman. Which means that somewhere out there is a Lohan half-sister that the world didn't know about. Michael Lohan has said that his love child even has some of the classic Lohan features. Wonder how LiLo is going to handle this one? And more importantly, how does the secret Lohan sister feel about being a Lohan? Of course, Michael is really only a father in the technical sense, he hasn't provided any sort of financial support to the other daughter (not that he provides any financial support to his kids with Dina either).

Russell Simmons will have to fork over $40,000 a month in child support to Kimora Lee Simmons for his two daughters. Now $40,000 is about what most regular people make in a year, much less in a month. I guess baby fur coats and kiddie spa treatments don't come cheap these days.

Mary-Kate Olsen made an appearance on Letterman for her new movie, The Wackness, where she revealed that she actually went to school with one-half of the World's Most Hated and Vomit-Inducing Couple, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag. Apparently, Spencer had a reputation even in his high school days. She said that he was on the soccer team and would often lose his temper and walk off the field during games. She even agreed when Letterman asked her if she thought Spencer was "wormy." Spencer, ever the gentleman, responded to Mary-Kate's comment by saying that it must be tough being the less-attractive Olsen twin. I think he's forgetting that Mary-Kate could buy him up in a heartbeat if she wanted to.

And guess who's playing matchmaker for Britney Spears now? Her buddy, *Mel Gibson*! It seems that Mel is eager to set Britney up with one of his sons. He thinks the two would have a lot in common seeing as how they've both had stints in rehab. Yeah, somehow I don't think that's the kind of thing you want to lead with when you're trying to set two people up. Thank goodness that Britney was smart enough to say, "No thanks."

A former American Idol contestant has a baby on the way and it's not Clay Aiken! Paris Bennett, the petite-sized contestant who blew the American Idol judges away with her big voice and stage presence has a bun in the oven. Her lips are sealed as to who the baby's daddy is, but sources say that her mom is thrilled that Paris waited as long as she did before getting pregnant (she gave birth to Paris when she was just a teenager as well).

The other Paris - Hilton that is - has a project in the works too. Paris is said to be working with boyfriend, Benji Madden, on a follow-up to the debut album she released a couple years ago. Not only that, but she is also writing the theme song to her new reality show and will perform it herself.

Ruben Studdard may have been dumped by his record label, but that doesn't mean this American Idol winner is unhappy. The Velvet Teddy Bear, as he's affectionately known, tied the knot last week with his girlfriend, Surata Zuri McCants. The two met at an Atlanta Wal-Mart back in 2006 and have been together ever since. Ruben wasn't the only one to make it down the aisle last week though - funny man Chris Kattan also married his model girlfriend, Sunshine Tutt. Chris and Sunshine have been dating since 2005.

In more wedding news, will the third time be a charm for Uma Thurman ? Let's hope so. The actress recently announced her engagement to boyfriend Arpad "Arki" Busson. Arpad presented Uma with a stunning eight-plus carat ring when he asked her to marry him. Arpad and Uma - that ought to look interesting stenciled on the side of their mailbox.

And there are new details surfacing as to why George Clooney broke things off so quickly with his ex-girlfriend, Sarah Larson. It seems that after Sarah moved in with George she began to consider herself the lady of the house. Sources say she may have gone as far as cutting back on the tips that the servants received. When George finally caught wind of what was going on, he gave Sarah the boot.

Could Britney Spears be getting ready to perform at this year's MTV Video Music Awards despite her disastrous performance last year? It's sure looking that way. Rumor has it that producers from MTV are saying that they would definitely give Britney a chance to redeem herself. Of course this is after Britney's songs are getting considerable radio play (not to mention the fact that her VMA performance brought in over seven million viewers for MTV last time). I know I'd definitely watch if she gave it another go.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie may indeed be heading towards divorce, but that doesn't mean that they're totally against reconciliation. The Sun is reporting that Guy is willing to do whatever it takes to save his marriage and keep his children's family intact. Of course there are rumors that the whole reason for the split, besides the requisite "we grew apart" thing is that Guy didn't want anything to do with the Madonna's trendy religion, Kaballah, anymore.

And it looks like Paris Hilton finally made good on her promise to be a better person after completing her highly-publicized prison sentence last year. Paris donated a "very generous" but undisclosed sum of money to Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Paris' donation will be geared towards the construction of a brand new Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases. Way to go, Paris!

Speaking of Paris Hilton, guess which celeb supposedly has expressed a desire to pen her own cookbook? Why none other than Paris' BFF, *Nicole Richie*! It seems that since settling down with her rumored fiancé, Joel Madden, and daughter, Harlow, Nicole has developed her domestic side and wants to share her recipes with the world. All this from a girl who didn't eat at all for almost a year.

Cameron Diaz was seen sporting a very large and glittery ring on her ring finger after leaving popular hot-spot Nobu last week. Could it be that her relationship with model Paul Sculfor is more than a passing fling and that they could really be getting serious? Now we'll have to watch and see who makes it down the aisle first - Justin Timberlake or Cameron Diaz.

The world's most famous pregnant 17-year-old, Jamie Lynn Spears, had her baby this past week. Her entire family, along with famous sis Britney Spears was on hand to welcome Maddie Briann into the world. Already the in-laws are laying claim on which of the baby's features look more like Jamie Lynn and which look more like Casey. The new mother and baby were driven home by police escort, but it was Britney who drew the bigger crowd. Britney was only gone from L.A. for a couple days, yet she managed to cause quite a ruckus upon her return when she and her father Jamie Spears were swarmed by paparazzi before jumping into a waiting SUV.

Another new mom who made headlines this week was Jennifer Lopez. Page Six reports that J-Lo was out on a shopping trip and has apparently fallen back into her diva ways. She not only demanded that the store close down so she could shop in private (they didn't), but then she tried on outfit after outfit, leaving a huge mess in the dressing room and not buying anything. Jennifer Aniston is playing a new role these days: most famous groupie. That's right, Jennifer is joining boyfriend, John Mayer for his UK tour. The couple will travel together from gig to gig and check out the sights along the way. Let's just hope that Jennifer doesn't go and mess up this relationship too. The Hollywood stork was pretty busy lately as two celebrity moms gave birth to little girls! Jessica Alba and Cash Warren welcomed their new little bundle of joy on June 7th and didn't waste any time joining the ranks of "Celebrities who give their kids unusual names" either - they named their daughter, Honor Marie Warren. Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, however went with Stella Doreen McDermott, which has either an old Hollywood or a country feel to it, depending on how you look at it.

Guess who scored a recording contract with 19 Records/Jive Records? Why, little David Archuleta, of course. It's really no surprise, since everyone knew the kid would end up releasing an album whether he won American Idol or not. The real test will be if David can make it through the recording process without Daddy Archuleta being banned from the studio.

Did you hear about the backyard rumble between The Hills stars Lauren Conrad and her roomie, *Audrina Patridge*? Apparently Lauren came home to find Audrina in the middle of a magazine photo shoot and flipped! Lauren was upset because she had already promised exclusive pics of their backyard to another magazine. Audrina claims that Lauren's people had been notified about the magazine shoot, while Lauren says otherwise. We all know the truth though - neither girl can stand the other being in the spotlight. With the attention that TMZ-favorite Audrina has been generating with her naked pics, Lauren better come up with something fast. Speaking of videos, Shia LaBeouf had another red-faced moment when a video from his past recently came back to haunt him. The video, which in his defense is several years old, appeared on YouTube and shows Shia LaBeouf making a derogatory comment to a male friend while playing one of those weird games that boys play. You know, the kind of game that involves drinking and slapping each other. Anyway, when Shia LaBeouf realized the tape had been released, his rep released a statement that said that Shia was embarrassed about the video. It seems that the more squeaky clean these young Hollywood stars claim to be, the more dirt people manage to dig up on them.

Ashlee Simpson is turning out to be more a traditionalist that I'd originally pegged her for. She just announced that she has taken her new husband's, Pete Wentz, last name and will officially change her name to Ashlee Wentz. As far as Ashlee's professional name (yeah, try saying that with a straight face) she will be adding the Wentz name to it as well, which will make her Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. Well, at least until the couple announces that they're divorcing due to irreconcilable differences (i.e. Joe Simpson). I mean, really, do you expect this Simpson marriage to end any differently that Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey's short-lived marriage. All Joe Simpson needs to do now is sign Ashlee Simpson up for another MTV reality show!

Lindsay Lohan has long been plagued with rumors that she and her BFF, Samantha Ronson, are more than just friends. And recent photos of the duo are only adding fuel to the fire. The paparazzi have snapped Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson shopping, traveling and hanging out, which are all very normal friend activities. It's a little harder to explain the pic of the two girls kissing though. And why is Lindsay wearing a ring with Samantha Ronson's initials on it? That's not a normal best friend ritual either!

Lindsay's parents seem divided on the whole "Is our daughter really a lesbian?" issue. Dina Lohan has denied the allegations and insists that the two are just close friends.
