After several months of rumors of a separation between singer Avril Lavigne and musician Deryck Whibley it appears that the rumors were in fact true. Avril took to her blog to let everyone know that she and her husband Deryck are separating. After writing some things about how she "admires" him and still loves him with all her heart, she writes, "Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note." Unfortunately, it also appears that Avril is making up the "positive note" part. According to an inside source, "she dumped him and told him she was leaving him." The sourced added, "divorce papers will be filed any day now," and that Whibley is "crushed." Avril had been seen just a few weeks ago enjoying time on the beach with other guys and her husband was nowhere in sight. The couple married young as she was only 21 when they got married and was 19 when they started dating. It appears this is another Hollywood (or wannabe Hollywood) marriage gone horribly wrong.

Kate Gosselin from Jon and Kate Plus 8, may be losing a husband but may be gaining an awesome job as a talk show host. According to Radar online, the reality star is said to be teaming up with Food Network star Paula Deen for a talk show that is completely focused on moms. The proposed show has a mixture of beauty, health, and parenting tips mixed in with some celebrity gossip. Apparently they are now looking for other women for the show to talk to and they want all the women to be moms. A few months back Kate had told Entertainment Weekly, "There are no mom-centered talk shows. I think that would be a very comfortable thing for me." A rep for Telepictures would not deny nor confirm that the show was currently in the works. Kate has said that she would do anything to provide for her 8 kids, well apparently that means being a talk show host. Really, how hard could that really be and does this mean she will be moving from their million dollar home as well?

Tom Brady has finally confirmed what the entire world has known for the past month or two. His wife, model Gisele Bundchen is pregnant and the baby is expected to arrive sometime in December. In an interview that the NFL star did for ESPN's SportsCenter, he joked that he "told her no Sundays," when it came time to give birth to the baby. He also jokingly said, "It couldn't be harder than training camp, so I'll be prepared." The latest pictures of Bundchen definitely showed a growing baby bump so it was no surprise that the couple would have to confirm the baby news sooner or later. This will be the first child for Gisele and the second for Tom Brady. Tom has a 2-year-old son with his ex, actress Bridget Moynahan.

Another daddy-to-be that has confirmed another child on the way is actor Colin Farrell. The actor confirmed that he and his girlfriend Alicja Bachleda are expecting their first child together. The couple started dating earlier this year. This will be the second child for Farrell as he has a 5-year-old son with model Kim Bordenave.

Apparently *Megan Fox*'s coworkers are not that happy with her and what comes out of her mouth. Recently Fox compared the Transformers director Michael Bay to Adolph Hitler and three anonymous film crew workers from Transformers had something to say about it. On the movie's website, the crew members wrote an open letter to the fans calling Megan Fox "thankless, classless, and graceless." These crew members have worked with Bay for the past ten years and wanted to "set a few things straight." They went on to call Fox, "dumb-as-a-rock," and "ungracious." The later part of the letter mocked the comparison between Fox and Angelina Jolie stating that they have worked with Angelina before and Megan is nowhere near being Jolie. The letter ended with "Hopefully Michael will have Megatron squish her character in the first ten minutes of Transformers 3." The writing has since been removed from the website but Bay took to his own website and said that he "doesn't condone the crew letter to Megan." He added that he still looks forward to working with Megan Fox on the next Transformers and expects even more outlandish quotes from her. So, is this simply fame gone to her head or is she that oblivious that you don't go talking about people that way?

Wouldn't you love to be a celebrity and be able to gain 30 pounds for a role? Well, apparently that is the way that actor Matt Damon feels. He says that it was "very, very, easy to gain the weight," for his role in the new movie The Informant. He added 30 pounds to his weight by feasting on anything that he wanted and he didn't hit the gym for several months. The movie is based on a true story about a vice president of an agricultural company turning into an FBI informant. The only problem with gaining 30 pounds is that he had to lose them again. He did show up at the Venice Film Festival looking back to his normal svelte body.

Another celebrity who will also be looking forward to losing some weight is actress Marley Shelton, who gave birth to her first child on September 6. West Flynn (it's a girl) weighed in at 9lbs and was 21 inches long. Marley's husband Beau Flynn, released a statement saying, "She's an absolutely miraculous, gorgeous bundle of pure love," and that mother, father and baby are "doing great." The couple announced the pregnancy back in March. Shelton recently starred in the television series the Eleventh Hour and can be seen in the movie A Perfect Getaway. Congrats to Marley and Beau!

While speaking about weight, one celebrity who was able to lose the baby weight was Ashlee Simpson after the birth of her 10 month old son Bronx. For fans who fear the buzz over Michael Jackson will never stop, you may be right. Police have concluded that MJ's death was, indeed, a homicide. Jackson's official cause of death was allegedly an overdose of the powerful sedative Propofol administered by Dr. Conrad Murray to help him sleep. But Jackson received doses of several other drugs in the hours leading up to his death, including the anti-anxiety agents valium and lorazepam and the sedative midazolam. Charges have not yet been filed against Dr. Murray.

The public was shocked when 25-year-old Norwegian rapper Omer Bhatti appeared with the Jackson family at MJ's memorial and claimed to be his son. Although the Jackson family has seemed fairly accepting of their potential new member, another young man has emerged, also claiming he is Jackson's son. Prince Michael Malachi Jet Jackson, 24, showed up in Los Angeles this week claiming he is Michael Jackson's biological son, and demanding a paternity test to prove it. Will any more alleged offspring come forward?

Celebrity DJ Adam Goldstein, better known as "DJ AM", was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on Friday, August 28th after failing to meet his travel companions for a flight. Goldstein, 36, became famous for both his DJ skills and his long-term relationship with Nicole Richie. Although a cause of death has yet to be officially established, police say a illegal substances and prescription medications were found in his apartment. Goldstein, who was upset over a recent failed relationship, had battled drug addiction in the past, but had claimed to be clean for more than 11 years.

Playboy's Hugh Hefner got a surprise from his estranged wife Kimberly Conrad. She is suing Hefner for $5 million. The couple who got married back in 1989 have been separated for over 10 years, but have never divorced. (If you remember this is one of the reasons why his former girlfriend Holly Madison left because she would never be able to get married to him). Apparently they had a prenup before getting hitched, but they both signed an amendment to the prenup stating that Kimberly would get a hefty amount of money. For the past 10 years Conrad has been living in the house next to the mansion with the couple's two sons. Hefner just recently told her that she has 9 months to move out because he is selling the home and he is not honoring the prenup agreement anymore. Kimberly is claiming that Hef owes her $5million now. Hefner made a statement saying that he has not seen the lawsuit by Conrad yet, but can say that he fulfilled his obligations to Kimberly beyond what the agreement stated. He added, "I am quite confident that when all the facts are known it will become clear that all of my financial obligations throughout the marriage have been generously dealt with." I wonder what the reason is that Hef is selling the home? Could he experiencing some financial trouble?

According to *Lindsay Lohan*'s manager/ mom Dina, Lindsay's house was burgarlarized. She told TMZ, "The safe was ripped out of the wall, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed. Bags, shoes and jewelry were taken too. Thank God she wasn't home." Dina added that Lindsay had plans to move even before this happened to the home. Dina also told PEOPLE that Lindsay, who is filming a new movie with Robert DeNiro, "is okay, but upset." The police has confirmed that they are investigating a possible burglary and no arrests have been made. Michael Lohan, her dad, is claiming that this is an inside job as the people who work for Lindsay did not turn the alarm on. Lindsay's same home also has an attempted break in last May in which the suspects were seen on the surveillance camera trying to get in the home.

Although she doesn't appear nude in her cover or pictorial, her husband Spencer calls the photos "beautiful art." Heidi and Spencer claim that the pictures are high class and Spencer just raves about the way that Heidi looks. The issue hits newsstands August 14th, which also happens to be Spencer's birthday.

Kelly Clarkson has come out in the new issue of SELF Magazine saying that her weight does fluctuate but she is fine with her weight and never had a problem with it. Well, it appears that SELF Magazine had a problem with it. If you compare pictures of the magazine cover with recent pictures of Clarkson performing on Good Morning America only a few weeks ago, there is a dramatic difference in the way that she looks. It looks like she had about 15-20 pounds Photoshopped off her for the cover of the magazine. SELF Editor-in-Chief Lucy Danziger says that they did touch up the pictures of Kelly but no more than what they do for other celebrity cover models. In a statement she says, "Kelly Clarkson exudes confidence, and is a great role model for women of all sizes and stages of their life. She works out and is strong and healthy, and our picture shows her confidence and beauty... We love this cover and we love Kelly Clarkson." I wonder what Kelly is thinking when she sees the pictures and how different she looks. Reminds me of the cover that Kate Winslet did for a magazine and they Photoshopped a good 15 pounds off her as well. If only Photoshop could be used in real life.

It appears that Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough will be dancing no more. The actress and the star of Dancing With the Stars have broken off their relationship of over a year. The couple met when Shannon was a contestant on Dancing With the Stars. The couple announced their split via Twitter. They posted simultaneous messages that read, "Hi everyone, we wanted you all to know directly from us, that Shannon & I have decided to end our relationship as boyfriend & girlfriend.... Mel Gibson has fallen far from his days as a Hollywood heartthrob. Gibson, whose conversion to Christianity spurred him to sponsor The Passion of the Christ movie and found his own church, has had his seemingly hypocritical recent actions under scrutiny. His initial DUI and subsequent anti-Semitic rant was the first of his public problems. Then, after announcing a divorce from his long-standing wife Robin, it was revealed that Gibson had gotten his new girlfriend Oksana Gregorieva pregnant before the divorce was filed. Now, Gibson is being accused of battery after allegedly ripping a photographer's shirt open at a club in Los Angeles. One has to wonder what, exactly, Gibson is preaching at his church.

Twilight fans are in an uproar over the replacement of actress Rachelle Lefevre as dangerous vampire Victoria, and the professional mudslinging is getting ugly. Lefevre, who has been replaced in her role as Victoria by Bryce Dallas Howard, claims that she is 'stunned' by Summit Entertainment's decision to oust her from her role in Eclipse. She claims a brief 10-day commitment to another film, Barney's Version, which was allowed in her Twilight Saga contract, overlapped with the Eclipse three-month filming schedule, and the producers refused to work with her. Summit shot back with a statement almost immediately, claiming Lefevre waited until July 20 to advise them she would be unable for filming during that time, when she had taken the role in early June. They claim that having to coordinate with so many actors so soon (with the filming starting in August), and her choice to delay telling them, made her simply unavailable for the film when they needed her.

Thankfully, the issue of where *Michael Jackson*'s children will live has finally been resolved. The children - Prince Michael I, Paris and Prince Michael II - will be in the custody of Michael Jackson's 79-year-old mother, Katherine. No word yet as to Debbie Rowe's take on the court decision.

Just when it seemed that Jessica Simpson had finally found lasting love, another of the singer's relationships has ended on a sour note. Simpson and Tony Romo, a quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, first started dating in November 2007. The relationship seemed to sail smoothly, with Simpson and Romo going on double dates and attending her sister Ashlee's wedding in May 2008. The relationship recently ended abruptly, with Romo banning Simpson from his residential complex. The ban apparently wasn't necessary, as Simpson reportedly paid $19,000 to have all of her belongings shipped to her from his residence overnight. To make matters worse for Simpson, two of her ex loves - Nick Lachey and John Mayer - have made it a point to tell the press they do not want her back. Ouch! Hopefully, Jessica will eventually find a relationship that works.

Her father, Jamie Spears, has been in charge of her affairs since the judge appointed him conservator several months ago. After Britney's transformation from a head-shaving, rehab-hopping mess to a girl with a new man and her own tour, sources say Britney's father is ready to give Britney back control of her life. Although he can't ask the judge to end the conservatorship, he can ask the judge to review it and determine if it is still necessary. Sources say that should happen once her current tour comes to an end.

Singing sensation Miley Cyrus may have her moments of teenage indiscretion, but that's nothing compared to the frightening crazy of her most recent stalker. 53-year-old Georgia resident Mark McLeod is obsessed with Miley, and recently made some frightening statements to police in Georgia. McLeod says he wants to marry Miley, has mailed her two diamond rings and has more than 2,000 pictures of her on his computer. He claimed that Miley had asked him to come see her. Officers became especially concerned when McLeod said "I will...be with Miley. We're supposed to be together and (the cops) couldn't stop it." Police in Georgia immediately contacted the Los Angeles Police Department (where Miley lives) to advise them of the potential threat.

Yes, that's a play on the title of a new movie, because we are not here to bad mouth Katie Holmes or Katherine Heigl. They are both fashionably impeccable and impossible not to admire.
