The National Enquirer is reporting that Joe, "feels that Tony has become too much of a distraction for Jessica." Joe Simpson has been known to be overly controlling of his two daughters, both professionally and in their personal lives. It was rumored that it was partly Joe's fault for the breakup of Jessica and her former husband Nick Lachey. But, this time is appears that Jessica is not letting her father's opinion get to her. According to the same source, if Jessica had her druthers, she'd be married and pregnant. Her main concern is getting Tony to settle down and commit. I don't think that Jessica is going to be letting go of this Dallas Cowboys quarterback anytime soon.

Could reality star Kim Kardashian be getting married to her professional football player, *Reggie Bush*? While out shopping, Kardashian finally told the paparazzi that she would be getting married "soon." She also added that her and Reggie would be getting married "in a church." There have been several rumors swirling that the couple would be getting married sometime later this year. This would be the second marriage for Kim.

It must really be in the "Hollywood trend" for reality stars to date athletes. A few weeks back I wrote about how Paris Hilton is now dating minor league baseball player, Doug Reinhardt. Well, it appears that things have gotten quite serious with them rather quickly. According to an inside source, "Doug is smitten with Paris and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He's already found the perfect ring, asked her father for permission and is now waiting for the right time to pop the question." So, the couple has only been dating for a few weeks, and Reinhardt is straight from a breakup with Amanda Bynes and now they want to get married. Is he crazy?

Singer Rihanna has apparently rekindled her romance with her beau Chris Brown. The two were spotted vacationing in Miami together, staying in Diddy's vacation home. They spent the weekend there and both have returned to Los Angeles. It has been reported that the couple got back together after an altercation they had that left Rihanna with scrapes and bruises. Rihanna was not spotted outside the Miami home, but Brown was seen water skiing close by. Chris Brown is scheduled to be arraigned this week for the altercation with Rihanna. This couple just needs to stay away from each other. Brown has said that he acted in self-defense and after seeing the pictures of Rihanna, these two will be better off just staying away. Why people get back together after these types of incidents leaves me puzzled.

First he was dating Lauren Conrad and then it was onto Amanda Bynes, now Doug Reinhardt is rumored to be dating Paris Hilton of all people. It seems like this minor league baseball player knows how to make his rounds in the young Hollywood scene. Doug and Paris were seen together at Teddy's in Los Angeles hanging out in the back corner and dancing together. According to a source, Doug introduced Paris as his girlfriend to his friends. This guy moves on pretty fast, and I have to say he definitely downgraded this time.

Britney Spears is going to be the newest face of Candies clothing and accessories. Past spokespeople for the brand include Hayden Panettiere and Kelly Clarkson. Britney said, "I'm so excited to be the face for Candies' Only at Kohl's." Her tour is starting this week and now she has another job with the Candies campaign. It may be too soon to say, but this looks like a good comeback for Britney Spears.

If you are a celebrity, what do you do after you get married and have a baby with another celebrity? Apparently if you are Ashlee Simpson, you decide to work with your husband. Ashlee Simpson and her husband Pete Wentz will both guest star of an episode of CSI: NY. According to Entertainment Tonight, the couple will be playing "Bonnie and Clyde wannabes" on the episode airing March 18. I wonder if CSI: NY is trying to attract a younger audience with their appearance on the show. We'll see how good of an actor Pete Wentz is, and if Ashlee Simpson has improved any since her 7th Heaven acting days.

Could Pink and her ex-husband Carey Hart be getting back together? Us Weekly has reported that the two were seen kissing on New Year's Eve and then spent the whole weekend together. Well, the duo was spotted together again. This time they were arm in arm as they went on a jog together in Los Angeles. The couple got divorced in February 2008 after only being married for 2 years. Both Pink and Carey Hart have come out and stated that they are still friends even after the divorce. So, could this now mean they are more than just friends?

One couple that has officially broken up is actress Amanda Bynes and her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt. The couple started dating last year after Doug was linked with The Hills Lauren Conrad. According to sources, Amanda broke it off with Doug as she did not trust him and had enough of the relationship. I think we all saw when he dated Lauren on The Hills that this guy was not to be trusted. Good for Amanda!
