Celebrity Fashion: Ankle Boots, Leopard Print, Big Watches

Ankle boots are still all the rage this year with celebrities. They are being worn with dresses, skirts, jeans and trousers. You can find ankle boots all over the red carpet, and then go down to the hottest club in Hollywood and find them there too. The latest celebrities to follow the ankle boot craze are: Mischa Barton, Michelle Williams, Lindsay Lohan, Kate Moss, Rachel Bilson and Jessica Simpson. If you aren't that sure about wearing ankle boots like celebrities do, then opt for a black pair, like the ones from Calvin Klein, because wearing black will not call that much attention to them. You can still be in style with the celebrity fashion trend but just downplayed a little.

It appears that leopard print has not gone out of style with celebrities. It can be quite tricky wearing leopard print and getting it right, which may be why celebrities have stylists to help them. If you are shy about wearing leopard print, try just wearing a small piece of leopard print. Do what Keira Knightley did and wear a leopard print scarf with an outfit. Or try what Rachel Bilson wore and match a leopard print cardigan with jeans. For the daring person, you can try to pull a Claudia Schiffer and wear a dress that has leopard print all over it. Whatever style you choose, just remember to rock it out like a celebrity would.

If you decide that you want to wear ankle boots with your leopard print clothing, why not throw in another celebrity trend of statement *watches*? Try sporting an oversized watch on your wrist to fit in with this celebrity trend. Pictures have shown such celebrities as Jennifer Aniston, Kate Moss, Nicky Hilton and Sienna Miller sporting large, statement watches on their wrist. Choose one that is gold or silver and really add some jazz to your outfit.

So, now you have your next outfit planned out for your big event. Leopard print with ankle boots and an oversized watch. You will look just like a celebrity!

Celebrity Gossip: Travis Baker A Ok, Ledger's Estate, Paris' New Scent

Here's some good news for Hollywood. Travis Barker has been released from the hospital. After suffering second and third-degree burns in a plane crash almost two weeks ago, Barker has been released from Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Four other passengers on the plane were killed during this crash. The other survivor from the crash, DJ AM, was released from the hospital last Friday. Both of the men have are said to be able to make full recoveries from their burns. I wish them luck!

Well it seems that Matilda Ledger is going to be a pretty rich girl someday. The family of the late actor Heath Ledger has decided that Health's entire estate will be left to his daughter, Matilda. Heath had made his will before his daughter was born and left all of his estate to his parents and sisters. According to the family, they have no problem leaving the estate to Matilda. I think that this is definitely the right thing to do, but it's not like Matilda will be struggling for money growing up, as her mother is actress Michelle Williams. Matilda is said to be inheriting all of the $16.6 million estate, but some of it will be going to start a foundation and scholarships for Australian actors.

Paris Hilton is releasing her 5th fragrance next month. Is coming up with different fragrances all Paris does? It seems like every celebrity has a designer fragrance out, but does Paris really need 5 of them? Her new fragrance will be called Fairy Dust. The ads for the fragrance will feature Paris Hilton hovering like a fairy with fairy dust all around her. The slogan will read "Do you believe in fairies?" I guess she is rather good at marketing or she has some good marketing people who work for her, because the fragrance will hit the markets just in time for Christmas shopping. We'll have to wait and see how well it does.

More Celebrity Baby-Booming!

Aug 10, 2008 by Becky

Celebrities are the worst when it comes to jumping on the bandwagon of the latest fad! Whether it's buying the latest popular handbag or getting knocked up with twins - if one celebrity does it, they all want to follow suit. Well, the latest celebrity to announce that she's pregnant with twins is none other than The King's daughter herself, Lisa Marie Presley. Lisa Marie and hubby, Michael Lockwood, are expecting their new bundles of joy this fall.

Adding to the celebrity baby boom news are former American Idol contestant, Bo Bice and his wife, Caroline Fisher, who welcomed a new baby boy into their family. They named their son, Caleb. Now while Bo Bice isn't exactly in the A-list category with such celebs as Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt or Julia Roberts, it's still nice to see that some celebrities can actually give their kids normal names and not doom their kids to a life of ridicule.

Is Heath Ledger 's ex, Michelle Williams, getting close with director Spike Jonze ? It sure looks that way. Michelle and Spike have been seen on both the East and West Coasts having intimate dinners, cuddling up and kissing - you know, all the things that couples tend to do. Of course, both of their reps are staying mum on the status of their relationship, but if they really didn't want anyone to know, why would they take the risk of being seen together in public, right?

Pamela Anderson is best known for her face and um, shall we say, other considerable assets. However, it seems that even Pamela is smart enough to know that all beauty is fleeting. Rumor has it that cameras on the set of her new reality TV show, Pam: Girl on the Loose, have been forbidden to film any close-ups of Pamela's face. Not only that, but producers of the reality TV show have given the order that Pamela is only to be filmed in "flattering lighting". Gee, I wonder what Pamela really looks like under all that make-up. Do I even want to know?

Celebrity Trends-Chop Off That Hair: Extensions Are Always An Option

Jul 1, 2008 by Tiffany B

Quite a few celebrities are cutting off their locks and opting for a new shorter hairstyle. With the hot months of summer ahead, cutting your hair now is not a bad idea. There are plenty of different short styles so you can pick the one that would look the best on you. There are angled bobs, layered bobs and pixie cuts just for example. If you do choose to cut your hair like a celebrity, remember that short hair needs to be trimmed more often to retain its style and cut.

Gwyneth Paltrow is probably the best example of a celebrity cutting their hair into a shorter style. Gwyneth cut off approximately 10 inches of her hair, so now it lands right above her shoulders. She went from really long straight hair to a short style with long layers. She has been seen wearing her hair wavy and straight.

Anne Hathaway is another celebrity who just cut off your locks. She went from long hair, down several inches past her shoulders, to a cut above her shoulders. She also has been seen wearing her new shorter do both curly and straight. Her hair is naturally curly, so layers were cut into her hair to make it more manageable. If you have naturally curly hair and want a short hair cut, I would recommend taking a peak at Anne's hair before heading to the salon.

Several other celebrities are rocking the short hairdos also. Katie Holmes cut her hair into a short bob a while back and recently cut it even shorter. I think that she looks more grown up with her new style and definitely does not look like Joey Potter from Dawson's Creek anymore.

Michelle Williams also has been sporting a short pixie cut for a while too. Her short blonde locks are an extreme for most people, but it does suit her well. Other stars who are sporting the short cuts include Tori Spelling, Sophia Bush, Kerry Washington, Rihanna and Christina Ricci.

So I say, go ahead and take the plunge. Follow the trend and cut your hair. There are always extensions. Isn't that what stars do anyway?
