The Hills are alive with the sound of... spin-offs? Certainly looks that way. An inside source from the MTV hit show, The Hills, is saying that Whitney Port will be getting her own Hills spin-off series. The yet-to-be-named series will follow Whitney Port as she moves up at fashion PR company, People's Revolution and makes friends on both the East and West coast. Hey, it could've been worse - MTV could've offered Heidi and Spencer their own show as they plan their wedding and get booed at event after event.
One person who doesn't think that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's wedding is a good idea (and really who does) is fellow Hills co-star, Audrina Patridge. Audrina was recently asked her opinion about the rumored nuptials and she expressed some concern about the fact that Heidi was still really too young to be married and suggested that the couple try living together for a year to see if they could make it through that without breaking up saying, "Once you're married, you're married."
Hollywood hottie, Vin Diesel, recently became a dad! He and his model girlfriend, Paloma Jimenez, welcomed their new baby girl into the world back in April. So that means it is possible to give birth in Hollywood without lavish baby showers, photo shoots and paparazzi. Who knew?
We all knew it was coming, but the on-again/off-again couple, Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff have officially called it quits. The two first met on the set of Dancing with the Stars and dated for two years afterwards. Karina Smirnoff dodged rumors of a possible romance with her last dancing partner, R&B star Mario, all last season but denied anything happened. Twenty bucks says she hooks up with the new Mario within the next month.
You know how they says that dogs are great judges of character? Well, what do you think it means when you adopt a new puppy and they make a run for it one week later? That's exactly what happened with former America's Next Top Model judge, Janice Dickinson and her newly adopted pup. She adopted a chocolate lab pup from LA celebrity pet store, Pets of Bel-Air, and now has no idea where it's run off to. This is the same pet store that made headlines in 2007 when it was accused of re-selling dogs from puppy mills. I guess the little pup couldn't handle living with the "world's first supermodel".
Shania Twain is speaking out for the first time since announcing her separation from husband of fourteen years, Robert "Mutt" Lange. She recently posted a message on her website thanking her fans for the letters and emails that she's received expressing their support and encouragement. She says that she has a lot to say, but wants to do it the best way she knows how - through music. I wonder if this means that we should expect the next great bitter break-up inspired song from the pop-country queen. Wouldn't that be the best revenge - creating a hit album without the help of her producer-husband? Can't wait to hear it!
