Ah Zappos, such a study in contrasts. Now here’s something you don’t see every day. This is Dave. (he’s not right but then, neither am I)
Dave works in the Ride Shop Business Unit so it goes without saying that Dave has a very strong sense of personal style. Here he is sporting his genuine faux-fur bear coat. Rumor is that Dave single-handedly stitched together over 50 toupees that he gathered from local thrift stores to create this magnificent rug. Yep, sometimes the AC runs a bit strong here at the big Z and one has to bundle up. Would pictures of other people hunkered down for Arctic conditions be of interest? Ironically the cold blasts are worse in the Summer than the Winter.
Below we have Ned, Andy and Britni on one of our “HAM” Walks.
HAM happens to stand for Health Awareness Month (May) and every morning we have several guides leading walks ranging from 0.6 to 1.1 miles. On this particular walk, we have 3 people from our Marketing Department. The sassy young lady is Britni. She also has a strong sense of personal style and she shows it as she struts down the sidewalk. (she is so going to kick my "sass" when she sees this picture.) Ned is our shorts champion here at Zappos. You may remember him from this post.
When Ned is not the Zappos shorts and sandals poster child, he is hard at work on some personal projects like the donut burger, the metal spork with a less than $2 price point and attending Yanni concerts. Ned has been with Zappos for 7 years. Sorry Andy, looks like that glory hound Ned edged you out of the picture!. Well he does have seniority, Andy has only been at Zappos for 6 years. Oh the stories these lads could tell!
