The rumors are true! The good fruit, the good trail mix, fresh popcorn, coffee – pretty much all of the good snacks dwell near the 2800 help desk. So if you're craving a juicy nectarine...you now know where to find 'em!

My Mythology – Creating our own living legacy at Zappos

One of the joys about working at Zappos is the freedom to be ourselves through our own personal style. Style shouts! Individuals identify themselves through their personal style. Taking the chaos out of the closet and using clothing as a celebration to create personal mythology or legend is something I have been fascinated by.

What is someone trying to say through their style?

Join me in the discovery. Each week I will take an employee from Zappos and find out their personal psychology through their favorite outfits.

Today we study the mythology of Eileen L., Director of Fashion Strategy for Zappos.com.

The Post Labor Day Weekend Blues

Sep 3, 2008 by Melissa L.

There's no denying it, there's a change of pace here at the Zappos Headquarters as everyone tries to cope with the after Labor Day blues. Labor Day weekend is so much more than a Sunday do-over, it's a benchmark holiday that means Summer has come to a close and Fall is on it's way. Students of all ages dread this weekend because it usually means that school is back in full swing. Fashion gurus (and those who abide by the fashion law) retire their white attire for the season and welcome the rusty colors of fall. And everyone else buckles down for the long road ahead until the next paid three day weekend (which is - Yikes - Thanksgiving).

So readers and fellow Zapponians, don't dread the end of Summer (if you live here in Las Vegas, the Summer heat is still going to be with us for while) and, I love Fall, it's my personal favorite, nothing beats waking up to crisp Fall air!

Now get up all of you who decided to spend the day in the "Quiet room" wishing that today was yesterday, because inevitably Tomorrow will come and it's a waste of a day, a week, or even a year, if you spend the majority of the time wishing it away.

You heard me....Get out of those nap pods and shake off the post Labor Day Weekend Blues!
