....in order to give money back to those in need. Here's an interview with Jamie N. giving us the inside scoop on why we're bringing our brown bags to work this week.

September 8th – September 12th we will not be serving lunch at our offices or the outlets and the money will be given to the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation to help them in the cost associated with their upcoming Bone Marrow Drives. Their goal this year is to save the lives of 6 children here in Nevada. It could take hundreds or even thousands of people to get tested in order to save these children. Here are a few quick facts:
· 46 Children are diagnosed with cancer everyday
· 30,000 children and adults right now have a disease that could be cured with a bone marrow transplant.
· Only 30% of them will find a match
Zappos will be hosting 3 bone marrow drives for the NCCF in September. The support of “Zapponians No Lunch” money has allowed the foundation to double their bone marrow efforts this year. On September 12th the Bone Marrow Registry will be on site at the 2280 building for Zappos Employees interested in joining the registry. You will need to fill out a quick form and they will swab the inside of your mouth. That’s it! You can change your mind if you do get called, but we hope you won’t. On September 13th 2 more bone marrow drives will be hosted at our outlet stores.
