At Zappos, we are very rarely hard on each other for a mistake. We just fix the issue and move on…..with one exception. The Reply-All award. Nicole S. is our newest recipient.
Let me explain. For many a year, we have kept track of who replies-all to a company-wide email, and they are forced to wear the hat of shame. But Nicole S. from our Comfort Team decided to go all out.she did it twice in two days!
But I must warn you as you laugh….it’s not hard to make this mistake. The ones who usually laugh the loudest are wearing the hat soon thereafter. Muhahahahahahahaha!


More companies should do this! There is no excuse for reply all.
