This reminds me of:
When I was at junior high (church) camp, way back when... If someone put their elbows on the table, someone would yell out "Name of Person strong and able, get your elbows off the table." Then, the entire mess hall full of junior high kids would start clapping and hootin' and hollerin', and the offender would have to do a lap around the room in order to make everyone stop. It was awfully embarrassing, and discouraged that behavior. I think I only slipped once in several years of camp...
