We enjoy the benefits we receive at Zappos.com and are always excited when new benefits are introduced. From the free food and drinks in the cafeteria to the on site tailor, we are spoiled to say the least. At least that's what we thought until Matt received a special surprise in his cereal yesterday.
Making the transition to being "eco-friendly" can be expensive and hard. If you are finding yourself struggling to make a difference, you are not alone.
Going Green is a process you should approach one step at a time. If you try to change at least one thing you do for the sake of the planet, eventually being green will become second nature.
A helpful hint is to try doing things the "Natural Way". For example if you need to clean your home and you run out of the usual cleaning products, try googling alternative ways to clean without using harmful chemicals. I ran across this dilemma last night when taking a shower and realized my drain was clogged, which brought me to my GREEN TIP OF THE DAY: PLUMBER CRACK IS WACK!!
Avoid the plumber (unless he is cute, of course!) and skip the Drano by choosing this alternative way to unclog sinks and drains.
FIRST- Put the DRY baking soda down the drain. I use about 3/4 of a cup.
SECOND- Pour 1/2 cup of vinegar down the drain after the baking soda. Be sure to cover the drain immediately afterwards with a rag or plug, filling the hole completely so nothing can escape. This is because the interaction of
the two will cause a “mini volcano” that will want to come up and out of the drain...you want to keep it down there.
THIRD- Leave this concoction in the drain for about 30 minutes. While you are waiting, boil a tea kettle full of water.
LASTLY - After 30 minutes, remove the plug and slowly pour the HOT water down the drain.
This works, I also use this method when my kitchen sink starts to reek! Try it, and you will be on your way to a greener you!
Zappos employees love finding reasons to celebrate and eat cake and lucky for us with as many people as we have here at our office, it seems like there is at least one birthday celebration going on each day.
Today, is Lauren C.'s birthday and her team really went above and beyond for their celebration. Not only did they decorate her entire desk with cards and banners, everyone on the team made her a special birthday sweet.
Oh, and did I mention this was all done by the time their 4am shift started!?!
All of us on the Blogs Team know that Melissa L. is really good at Photoshop and can do amazing things with Pictures, but nobody likes to ask her for anything because she just avoids them by fake typing. I was having some trouble the other day and Brett couldn't help, so I had no choice but to ask Melissa for assistance.
Last week, Kentucky Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) officials presented Zappos.com with SHARP (Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program) Certification from the US Department of Labor. Zappos became the 10th active SHARP’s company in Kentucky to attain the certification. The certification is good for two years, and then, can be renewed.
Zappos underwent a thorough assessment by Kentucky OSH consultants, in order to receive the SHARP certification. The assessment included ensuring that Zappos injury and illness rates fell below the national average, as well as Zappos exceeding OSHA standards for workplace health and safety.
"Zappos.com takes great pride in providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees," stated Leah Morris, Safety and Risk Manager at Zappos.com. "Achieving the SHARP Certification acknowledges the dedication and commitment we have implemented in our constant quest to strive towards excellence."
Congratulations to all the Zappos employees at the Kentucky Fulfillment Center for all their hard work in making this happen. HOOPLA!
Brett has sprung for a new Phone that will allow him to Twitter at lightning speed, At least that is what "Cooltwittercat555" on Ebay told him. He has enjoyed the attention he has received from his Brand New "Deluxe" Phone, but would appreciate any help in locating an operators manual, if possible.
John D. Is known around the office for having a love for the outdoors, an obsession with rock music and is rumored to have wrestled alligators as one of his first jobs. Lets take a look at his desk to see what kind of cool stuff he has to show us.
For our company picnic yesterday we hosted a cake-bake-off and the only rules were that it had to represent our theme 'beach' and not make our judges sick. Apparently we have quite a few bakers and cake decorators among us and all I can say is that I'm glad I didn't give it a go because my cake would have been drowned out by the rest - get it, drowned out!
Ok, I'll stop with the small talk and get to the good stuff. The winners and crowned champions of this years cake-bake-off are:
1st place- Chris Peake for his Octopus cake
2nd place- Katie Wilson for her shark cake
3rd place- Jessica Velazquez for her teddy graham beach cake
Winners in the Best-Tasting category:
1st place - Chris Peake because squid actually tastes great on cakes
2nd place - Jessica Velazquez, nice choice on the teddy grahams
3rd place - Katie Wilson because shark's a delicacy at the Zappos picnics
And high-fives go out to Ryan Quinn and Jennifer Pike for entering their tasty creations in our cake-bake-off.
All in all, the Zappos Picnic 2009 was a blast! This year's beach themed company picnic was split up into three different sections, Hawaii, Venice Beach, and Coney Island, and each area had food and drinks specific to that particular region. From fun carnival games to jumbo slides to trampolines to mudslides, there was something for everyone at the Zappos picnic.
And it wouldn't be a Zappos party without some form of extreme and over-the-top entertainment like a flaming baton twirler, a fire eater and the not-so-extreme, but still highly entertaining, hula dancers.
Thank you Jamie N. and all who helped organize this memorable event, and thank you to all the Zappos families who attended yesterday's picnic - it wouldn't have been a party without you.
Remember that paper route you had when you were a kid? Or that fast food joint you worked at? Or that time you were Airline Pilot? Ok, maybe not that...but.....
Everyone has stories about their first job. Most of the time, they are jobs that people would never want to go back to. When they look back, people usually have really funny stories about it - whether it be a horrific experience, or some funny things that happened that they will never forget.
We have people coming from all walks of life working at Zappos, so there are some employees with some really crazy first jobs. We have everything from combine tractor operators to people who worked for a mortuary.
Frank's knowledge about breakfast foods is admirable and anyone with this type of knowledge about breakfast burritos deserves to be today's Zapponian of the day!
Graham Weston is the CEO and co-founder of Rackspace.com, as well as a really cool guy. We even heard he hands over his car keys to top performers on his staff! Graham took a few minutes to hang out with the Blog Team and we asked him a few questions about Texas Weather, Rackspace and his passion to deliver fanatical customer support. We hope to see our Texas friends again soon, and welcome everyone to schedule their very own tour by going here:
http://www.zappos.com/tours
Yesterday was "Take you kids to work day" at Zappos. We had over 80 kids visit the office for this years event and we prepped all of them for their future of becomming great Zapponians by having them decorate cookies, play card games, and screaming contests - you know, all the basics that every Zapponian needs to know.
And in honor of "bring your kids to work day," the kids teams did a "peanuts" parade complete with snoopy and woodstock masks and roasted peanuts.
A big thank you to all the Zappos employees who help out, and made it a fun and exciting day for the kids.
It all started when Mary and George from Blendtec were touring around the Zappos HQ in Vegas when Loren from the Pipeline team told the how much of a fan he is of Blendtec blenders. A week later Loren received a Blendtec blender in the mail and it didn't take the Pipeline team too long to put it to the test.
List of things that the Blendtec blender can blend:
Jolly Ranchers
Teddy Bears
But they never imagined that an iPhone would ever be added to their list until Thursday, April 22, a day that will go down in history as the day Eric from ChoiceStream blended his iPhone. That's right, a group of ChoiceStreamers were just touring around Zappos when they spotted out mighty Blendtec blender. Eric said, "I've heard that these things can blend iPhones." Our Pipeline team said without a doubt in their minds "why, yes it can!" So, for the sake of science, fame and of course for pure entertainment, Eric A. sacrificed his personal iPhone to the Blendtec blender.
Thank you Mary and George and everyone from Blendtec for giving us this amazing blender, and a big hoorah to Eric for putting this blender to the ultimate test.
Deep in the cave that we call our Marketing department, lives a man named Miguel. His desk is full of craziness, and we demanded that he show us what is on it!
You get to decide which description is the ultimate champion. Will it be the Tyrant of Text? Maybe the Wizard of Words? You decide! Just comment below and state which product you think is the winner. Remember though, two descriptions enter the ring but only one will become the Verbiage Victor.
Will Angela or Clay be the victor? You decide! Comment Below!
That's right, strap on them boots and hang on to your hats, because today is a Zappos Spirit Day unlike anything else! It really is quite shocking as to how many people in the Zappos headquarters own a pair of cowboy boots and a western button up.
And even though we don't hand out group awards or prizes, the blog team is giving koodos to HR for being the team with the most participants. Way to show your country western and Zappos pride HR!
Our awesome Facilities team has hooked the office up with a super sweet Industrial grade Toaster! It can toast 2 pieces of bread in less than 1 minute, as well as tell you about proper toasting procedures while it's working. We all enjoy it's delicious toast, but sometimes its a little full of itself.
Shannon from the Z.E.U.S. Team shows us how they do more with less and spread Zappos Culture at the same time. They also recently made an appearance on the CBS's "The Early Show". Here's just a little sample of what you could expect if you come to Zappos.com for a Tour.
Jerry was born in Okinawa, Japan, and enjoys collecting a lot of different Japanese culture items. If you're into anime, check out all the different items he has on his desk.
Our CEO Tony Hsieh gets around - around the globe, that is - and there's no telling where he'll be next. Tony is so busy flying around, speaking at conferences and meeting with other cool companies that Twitter has a hard time keeping up with all of his @zappos updates, and honestly, Twitpics just don't give a visit to the White House any justice.
So, we decided that the only way to truly know where Tony is at any moment in time was to hook him up with a tracking device and to set up hidden cameras around his cubicle and implant a micro camera in his forehead.
However, due to the economy being down and the fear of being let go or having a restraining order placed against the Zappos Blog Team, we decided to do more with less and settled with just giving him a Flip camera to carry around with him everywhere he goes.
So, here it is, the moment you've all been waiting for (drum roll) Where's Tony!
We have visitors all the time, and today was no different. Our friends at Monster stopped by the office to give us a little morning boost by handing out free Java Monsters to over 200 employees. Check out the video below to see what happened when we put a little "Monster Java' in our day.
Lets face it, once you read a book, you rarely read it again, or at least I don't. So unless it's your favorite book of all time or a really awesome hardcover that sits on your coffee table solely for the sake of either faking or showing off intelligence or interests to your guests, donate your book to the Zappos book Exchange club.
Bruce decided that it was timie to let go of a few of his hard cover books and to share the joy that he got from reading them to his fellow co-workers.
Thanks Bruce and every one else who have participated in our book exchange!
He really, really likes to ride his fixed gear bike and eat roast beef barbecue sandwiches for lunch, so, we decided to put him in the Zapponian of the Day hot seat, just because we could.
I can speak on behalf of everyone in the Zappos headquarters that working here desensitizes us to weird and unusual things, however there's always that one thing that will always be a little off, no matter how many times you've seen it, it remains just as strange as the first.
For example, Pat W. on the Zappos Blogs team carries a ridiculous amount of strange and unusual objects in his backpack to work everyday.
We decided to plant a few hidden cameras to capture his strange morning routine.
The Blog team at Zappos is going around to different departments and documenting what it's like to work in that particular department for a day. This week Melissa spent a day with the IT Department. She's not allowed back up there.
William has an entire wall full of items he has received from co-workers, and things he has collected in the past. Check out all the knick-knacks on his desk.
You get to decide which description is the ultimate champion. Will it be the Tyrant of Text? Maybe the Wizard of Words? You decide! Just comment below and state which product you think is the winner. Remember though, two descriptions enter the ring but only one will become the Verbiage Victor. The Alife or the Fossil?
Will Kenny or Vanessa be the victor?

The Corporate Challenge is well on its way, and it's not that Zappos isn't made up of a group of champions, it's just that we haven't received a gold medal in any Corporate Challenge event until now. That's right, our first gold medal was awarded to Scott S. in Finance for the Bowhunter Freestyle Limited B Division.
The only archery related thing that I know how to do is watchMen in Tights, so needless to say, I am very impressed. Congrats to Scott S. for his medal and an honorable mention to Meg M., JoAna F., and Frank Z., for representing Zappos Archery team. I'm not quite sure where you guy practice all year long or as to why all of you just so happen to have a bow and some arrows laying around in your garage - and quite frankly, I don't want to know - but I'm sure glad your obsessions with 50lb draw bows came in handy for the Corporate Challenge.
We get several phone calls everyday from customers, some of which are quite memorable. Today, Augusta tells us about a phone call she received from an incredibly honest customer who took time out of his busy day to do the right thing. Check out this video to see why Augusta will remember this call for a long time to come.
We would like to take this time to wish Steve a Happy Birthday, but we can't seem to find him anywhere. Just Kidding, Steve's team actually remembered his Birthday, but forgot that he would be spending it with his family in San Francisco instead of his family at Zappos.com. The cake was delicious and the decorations were beautiful, maybe next year, Steve?
Troy has done and seen may interesting things, in fact, he has been to 26 different countries in his life and have lived in several different States, his favorite of which is Oregon and he hopes to move back some day.
Since Zapponians are all about celebrating random holidays, such as International Pancake Day, Troy actually has a calender that gives you a random holiday for everyday of the month. So if you ever need a reason to have a party, go see Troy.
The Michigan AIDS Coalition asked 100 people to decorate a denim jacket that would be auctioned to raise money for their cause. In the last blog, "Denim Jackets Can Help Save Lives" we covered the main points behind this project, but here's a bit more behind the scenes information on Project Denim Jacket.
Zappos is trying to be more creative in the ways we give back and we thought this was a perfect project. Creative Services was the first to answer this call and they decided that instead of ruining the jacket they would donate it to a homeless shelter so someone in need could use it.
Like most things done within Zappos, they Executed this project with the Ten Core Values in mind. Core value #10, Be Humble. Instead of bedazzling the jacket with Zappos accessories they decided to put the coat to good use. Also, the team didn't just walk into the shelter with a denim jacket in hand, they all brought some of their own clothing to donate to the shelter - which is core value #7, Build a Positive Team and Family Spirit. Then, to represent Zappos in the challenge John F. made a replica of the denim jacket out of Zappos boxes - core value #8 Do More With Less.
The CS Team took the photos you see here and attached them to the inside of the cardboard jacket. So hopefully they will be able to auction it for a lot o' money to go towards fighting AIDS. And I guess that would be core value #1 Deliver WOW Through Service.
If you or your department have any interest in helping with future projects, please let Jamie N. or Melissa R. know. And a very special thanks to John F. and Sean C. for their help!
The speed walking event for this year's Corporate Challenge was a lot more popular than we thought it would be. So, in order to decide who gets to represent Zappos at the speed walking event, we held a walk off. Our first group of walkers fighting for the spot in their age group really weren't bringing the heat, but when husband and wife duo, Rebecca and Alfred started their time trial they cranked the competition up to an 11 - an 11 minute mile that is.
This Easter season, some very talented and creative Zapponians decided to put the influx of Peeps easter bunnies to good use by taking part in the first ever Zappos Peeps Challenge. Each team was challenged with creating a Peeps diorama of whatever theme they wanted.
The themes ranged from completely adorable (Brady Bunch Peeps) to downright creepy (Silence of the Peeps). In the end, it was Team Peeparazzi—Amy V., Shanda F., Bernadette T., and Jen B. (aka “JB”), and their fabulous rendition of “Peeps of Love”, that won the Challenge.
Their Peeps version of the hit reality show “Rock of Love with Bret Michaels” completely showcased all the debauchery and guilty pleasures that the show is known for...complete with a puking Peep contestant! (see photo below)
Congratulations ladies! Looks like that obsession with reality TV has finally paid off!
As many know, at the 2009 South by Southwest Conference the Zappos crew marched into the Texas streets to hand out Zappos playing cards to the conference-goers and the residents of the wonderful city of Austin in a little game we called the Zappos 5.
The point of the game was to build a 5 of a kind hand with a particular number of cards from each day of the game. By day two, the response of people in the streets collecting cards had reached a frantic level of craziness. Cars were stopping in the streets when they saw a herd of Zappos shirts coming down the sidewalk – I kid you not!
We had a great response and received many submissions, but, there can be only one (a wise Highlander once said). So, the winner of the 4 days/3 nights trip to Las Vegas and a Tour of ths Zappos Headquarters is....
Gloria Bell!
We were so happy to see the response from the awesome people we met in the streets of Austin and in the SXSW conference and we appreciate all of the submissions, comments and participation.
If you win a backpack or a Monopoly game (2nd and 3rd prizes) you will receive an email Today, Friday, April 10th. For complete rules, please see http://www.zappos.com/zappos5.
Zappos employees are getting together to raise Breast Cancer awareness and to help donate money to the cure. On May 2 several Zapponians are participating in the Breast Cancer Walk and they're hoping to raise $3000 to donate to The Susan B. Komen Foundation by May 21st. Well, they're off to a great start! Yesterday's bake sale raised $407 and they're planning on baking more goodies for yet another sale on Thursday April 23.
Way to raise awareness and curb our sweet appetites at the same time!
It's that time of year! All of the Peeps are out and about, and what better way to celebrate the Season of the Peeps than a Diorama style peep show? This Year there were 23 entries, all of which were very detailed and extremely creative. It was hard to Choose just one winner, but our very own Loren Becker picked "Peeps of Love" by the Peeparazzis! The Peeparazzis were led to victory by team captain Amy V.
Congratulations Content - Fashion team on your awesome Peep Show Entry!
Check out all the dioramas and the judging process in the video below.
Melissa L. wasn't always a Blogger, she actually started as a member of the Zappos Help Desk. She wasn't necessarily "Cut out" for her original position, and some say it had something to do with her excessive caffeine intake. We are very happy that things didn't work out for Melissa at the Help Desk, because we wouldn't know what to do without her!!
Zappos employees decorate their desks with things that will show others their personality. Since Holly liked Johnny Depp, she originally put a picture of him on her desk. Over time, it has grow to an entire wall, or shrine if you will, of attractive male celebrities that she and her coworkers equally enjoy gazing at daily.
For the second year in a row, Zappos.com employees got together for the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) Bowl for Kids’ Sake. This is a major fund raiser for BBBS. Bowlers were required to raise $80 in pledges to participate. Zappos.com once again showed its commitment to the employees and community by pledging $60 to each employee that bowled. 34 employees turned out for the event raising $2,732. A Big shout out to Mi K. for being the top fundraiser with $180.
The day was a success! Professional bowlers and some not-so-professional bowlers alike bowled side by side. But, it wasn’t about the highest score; it was about raising money for the kids and having fun at the same time. While most of us barely broke triple digit scores, we all laughed until it hurt!
Amber gets to go through and edit all the fun comments that people post on our site. So, she's seen her fair share of weird things, but nothing seems to weird her out more than a Zapponian of the Day interview with our very own Brett H... I don't blame her.
Our Product Descriptions are painstakingly written by our fabulous Content Team here at Zappos.com. They are a rather competitive bunch...so, I present:
The Product Description Smackdown!
Where you decide which description is the ultimate champion. Will it be the Tyrant of Text? Maybe the Wizard of Words? You decide! Just comment below and state which product you think is the winner. Remember though, two descriptions enter the ring but only one will become the Verbiage Victor.
Jason is now on his way from our Las Vegas office to our Kentucky Distribution Center. Since he was planning on driving all his personal belongings across the country in his car, he had to downsize a little.
In this special edition of "Things on my desk", Jason actually gives away all the things on his desk to his co-workers.
Look deep into our eyes, and we will hypnotize you. (And by eyes, I mean our Real Time map of where purchases are being made, and by hypnotize, I mean not allow you to get anything else done because you're staring at this map)
Here is what happened in the Zappos.com offices when our CEO Tony Hsieh sent out the real time purchases map.
Sugar and spice and everything nice, that's what the Girls' bathroom in the 2290 building is made of. The new super girly makeover in the girls' bathroom makes trips to the restroom fun and nostalgic. From little ponies to jump ropes to strawberry shortcake and childish graffiti, this bathroom is a haven for all things girly.
And the best part about this bathroom makeover are the baskets full of scents, hairspray and hairbands. I know what bathroom I'm going to when I'm having a bad hair day.
Andrew works on the Content Team for Zappos.com, but if he was a Chicken Sandwich, he would be Spicy and Breaded. He is also very knowledgeable on Electronic Dog Food instructions. We also touched on Andrew's ability to start working for Zappos.com before he was even born. You Gotta check this out!!
Here in the Zappos photo department, a friendly competition was brewing between two of our supervisors. Dan and Mike showed off their adventurous side with a bubble gum chewing contest. The competition started off with a few pieces of gum, but quickly moved to Olympic standards. Dan finished with a respectable 15 pieces of gum while Mike took the win with 40 pieces of gum! Even though Mike took the win, Dan entertained with some bubble tricks to wow everyone. Just out of curiosity we looked up the record to see if our local guys had a chance, but when they found out the record was 82, they threw their wrappers in!
At the 2009 SXSW Interactive Festival in Austin, TX, Zappos invited a number of influential and talented bloggers to let us film them opening their Zappos boxes and showing their excitement that came along with the Zappos Experience. And since then, we have invited you to do the same by recording your box break and uploading to Zappos.tv for a chance at a $100 Gift Certificate.
Today, we wanted to show you the excitement even in the corporate offices with every order that is delivered to employees.
Check it!

So a couple week ago, the CLT department set up an entire wall in their department for all of them to create ideas of what they think our core values mean to them. Each month a different team will decorate the wall under the core value they are given.
This was the very first month this was done, so check out what they came up with. Coming soon, Zappos Insights will be talking to each team to find out a little more about their creations.
The air was cold on our fingertips, the mood was cheerful and uplifting, people from all around were gathering, and the water was absolutely freezing. There were costumed heroes everywhere, from Nerds to Bumble Bees, all there for one cause. Raising money for Special Olympics Kentucky. This being the second year in a row that Zappos has participated, we had 32 Polar Bears take that icy dive this year, and raised a total of $5,785 winning us the Frigid Cup.
Since started in 1999, there have been thousands who have taken the plunge for Special Olympics. It's an amazing event that helps out so many people each year, giving Special Olympics athletes the chance to prove that they have the drive and passion to do great things. It's amazing to see how many people come out year around, to show support, and freeze their tails off after jumping into the frigid water. But it's all worth the outcome. With events taking place in Louisville, Newport, Lake Cumberland, Owensboro, and Lexington, they raised over $510,000.
If you have ever considered supporting, and even joining in on this event, don't hesitate. The atmosphere is exciting, and dressing up or not, you are are guaranteed to have a blast. Since this years Polar Bear Plunge is already over, you have a whole year to save money, and encourage people to take a gander at how exciting it can be to help out our Special Olympic athletes.

The Canadian Team here at decided that it would be a grand team building event to have a Boys V. Girls egg drop (kinda like what we did in our grade school science fairs).
Materials:
20 popsicle sticks
10 cotton balls
10 straws
10 rubber bands
5 pipe cleaners
2 ft of tape
2 ft of string
small piece of cardboard
scissors
glue
Left over materials will be given out at the discretion of Chairman Jesse and Grand Overseer Aria.
Rules: No material can be glued to the egg. The outside of the egg may not be altered in any way. Your apparatus must be easily opened to inspect the condition of the egg after each drop. Should your egg be broken during the building process, you are automatically disqualified, although you can help the other teams should they decide to let you.
Teams have 15 minutes to brainstorm an idea for their apparatus. After the 15 minutes have elapsed, teams have 45 minutes to build their design. Drops will start at an unimpressive 4 ft. After that, they will go to 6 ft, 8ft, and 10 ft. Once your egg breaks, you are out. The top two teams will win first and second prizes respectively.
Play by play: Both teams survived the 4ft drop with ease. The 6 ft
drop, however, had the girls' egg smashed and broken. The guys' egg
survived the 6ft drop, but the 8 ft drop proved fatal. The men were
declared the victor of this match. The competition was fierce, and the
stakes were high. Everyone gave their all, and we all had a lot of fun.
Teams:
Andre Narcesse, Drew Gaines, Jesse Cabaniss (winners)
Sarah Hardgrove, Porsha Pressler, Kim Noret (also winners, but they lost the egg drop)
Danielle is passionate about many things, but nothing gives her more joy than flashing back to the early 90s. If she could, she would quit her day job and be a 90s DJ, but for now, she has her 90s radio station and New Kids On The Block memorabilia to keep her and her team laughing.
But she really should clean up her desk space before her cubicle mate Dana gets back. Her things are slowly taking over Dana's desk too.
Welcome back to yet another Zappos Cheer Up! Today we just want to let Emma and Angel know that telling people how you feel is the best way to lift your spirits. It works for Pat all the time.
Eric, our HR Generalist is always there to help out his fellow Zapponians. From interviewing new hires to offering his shoulder to cry on, to motivational interpretive dances, Eric does it all. And that, my friends, is why Eric V. is today's Zapponian of the Day.
At Zappos, we are always trying to come up with ways in which to Do More With Less, which is one of our Core Values, and we feel that Space is a valuable commodity. So, we have come up with a new way to fit more people into the offices here in Las Vegas, NV – Bunk-Desks.
The actual idea came from our CEO, Tony Hsieh, while he was thinking about ways to improve our office space situation. We have grown at such a rapid pace, that it’s easy to fill up to capacity before you even know there is a problem. Tony commissioned Warren and Associate Builders, here in Henderson, to build this innovation aimed at maximizing the office space available. After seeing the finished product, Tony actually requested that he be allowed to move his spot in the office to the top bunk.
Alfred Lin, COO of Zappos, after seeing Tony’s new toy, requested that we have another built with a bed on top so he can just crash out right here in the office when he works too late.
Tony is considering mass producing the Zappos BunkDesk and providing much needed space to office buildings around the world. Comment below and let us know what you think!
