The Zappos Dev Team hosted their third annual Donut Eating Contest last week. It was definitely something to behold.

The results for the Donut Eating contest are below:

Brent “It’s a Marathon, Not a Sprint” Cromley, subsisting on a bizarre diet of heads of lettuce the day before, takes the crown for the second time with 15 donuts. Amit, who won a sudden-death first-to-the-finish “eat-off” versus Jaimee “Sonya Thomas” Newberry, finished in second place with 14. Jaimee, the competition’s first female competitor, finished third.

Mark Madej – the man, the myth, the donut fan – did an awesome job organizing this, so if you had fun while watching eight of your co-workers and friends engorge themselves on sugary fried dough in the shape of a circle, stop by his desk and give him many thanks.
