For this edition of On the Spot, we approached two stylish Zapponians: Melissa, who loves to look classic and put together, and Derek whose fresh, streetwear-inspired style is always on point.

This week, we highlighted a classic print and classic style worthy of the festivities at Derby!
Polka dots are one of the most coveted prints of the season! This slightly nostalgic print looks fabulous as the focal point or accent to your ensemble. Go beyond the basic black and white and try out some fun color polka dots for summer!
Derby style isn’t just for the big race in Louisville! These prim and proper outfits would be just as appropriate for a dressier daytime event like a garden wedding or party. Think classic, pretty and dapper. And ladies, it's all about the hat--the bigger the better. If you're not into hats, try a fabulous fascinator in your hair to glam up your look.
As we slowly ease into summertime, our minds naturally go to sunny beach vacations and baseball games--two things we love about the season. That's why this week’s trend spotlights are on tropical floral prints and outfits to wear at the ballgame.
Tropical-floral prints are like the summer vacation of prints—they just evoke such a laid-back feel. Think palm fronds, exotic flowers, and bold colors. Whether it’s on a lovely summer dress or a cool Hawaiian shirt, this fabulous print is a must for warm summer days and nights.
Baseball games call for comfortable outfits that show some team spirit. Break out of wearing just any old team shirt by rocking your team’s colors in casual pieces. Throw on your baseball cap and you’re ready to root, root, root for the home team in style!

There’s no doubt that spring is the best time to rock color. With so many colored denim options out there, you can infuse pops of color to your outfits no matter what your personal style happens to be.
And fellas, don’t think that ladies get to have all the fun! We’re seeing bright and bold colors in men’s fashion as well. There’s the colored jeans option, but you can also do something more subtle like a pop color shoe, top or accessory.
Walking around Zappos HQ and seeing all these well-dressed Zapponians gave us the idea for On The Spot, a new video series where we literally put employees on the spot about what they’re wearing and some of their style must-haves.
For our first episode, we are putting the always-edgy Jarett and always-classy Beverly on the spot. Enjoy!
From the star-studded Coachella in the Indio Valley, to Lollapalooza in Chicago, this spring and summer offers a huge variety of music festivals! Whether you’re going to a small local outdoor fest or a massive three-day long event, your outfits are just as important as scoring tickets in time.
Opt for breathable fabrics, flat shoes or sandals and layering to stay comfy as you dance the day away to some great music. Denim is always a great go-to option for music fests, whether you opt for denim shorts, boyfriend jeans or classic bootcuts.
We particurlarly love boho-inspired looks for music festivals--think crochet, fringe, maxi dresses, denim vests and cut off shorts.
We also suggest a nice crossbody bag for the ladies to keep both hands free for drinks, food and your camera!

For our last day of shooting in beautiful Costa Rica, we took to the ocean for some glamorous boat shots. It was such a gorgeous day and it made for some really amazing photos.
Check out more shots from the Costa Rica shoot on our upcoming summer issue of ZN and our brand new StyleRoom boutique pages!
A couple of weeks ago, we shared a couple of behind-the-scenes shots from our fun Downtown Las Vegas shoot.
We had such a great time getting in touch with our quirky side, and so did our models!
