My girlfriend, dog, and I are leaving tomorrow to hike the entirety of The Cohos Trail. It should take us about 2 weeks to hike all 162 miles. My girlfriend has super small (and very cute) feet. She got her boots of of Zappos -- which saved us a bunch of headaches compared to running around and trying to find the right hiking footwear in stores. You can follow our adventure at http://cohoshike.com

Out here in Virginny the mosquitos can get pretty bad. Eating a lot of garlic (or get garlic pills these days) flavors the oils on your skin and helps to make you less tasty. Also helps with vampires.

I was searching for posts about hypothermia and found your blog. We have a battery powered blood and IV fluid warmer called the Thermal Angel for use in the field by EMS personnel to help prevent fluid induced hypothermia. If any field medics need more information, take a look at our website. We also have quite a bit of information on hypothermia.<br />
