Fairfax Skate Park - Skate Night
Fairfax is the home to Skate Night. This skate park is unique in that it is only open a couple of hours a week. It is open Sunday nights from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This park has a variety of obstacles and features that you can skate on including a launch ramp, a manual box, handrails, a grind box and a quarter pipe.
Fairfax Skate Shop - Elite Skate Shop
If you are interested in doing a little shopping for skater gear, head to the Fair Oaks Mall. Here you will find Elite. This is a great skate shop where you will be able to find equipment, clothing and supplies for your skateboarding collection.
Fairfax Attractions - What Else You Can Do
The top attraction in Fairfax is the National Firearms Museum. It is located at 11250 Waples Mill Road. It hosts the largest firearms collection in the world. This is a great attraction to visit if you are interested in firearms, or if you are just interested in a great tourist stop. This stop has been approved for visitors of all ages, making it a great tourist attraction for families and singles alike.
For the rest of the attractions, you will need to take a short drive to Alexandria. Here you will find the Historical Haunts tour, located at 134 North Royal Street. You will also find the Sugar House Day Spa and Salon, which is located at 111 North Alfred Street. Finally you can take a river tour offered by the Potomac Riverboat Company, which can be found at 205 The Strand. All of these attractions are great and will not only keep you entertained but also give you a little more insight to the history and culture found in Virginia.
