We love our colored denim around here! To prove it, our clothing team showed off their favorite jeans while heading out to a department meeting earlier this week. Who could resist such a colorful photo op?

Every spring before Easter, Zapponians take part in an annual Peeps showdown to flex their arts and craft skills as well as their fondness for the classic marshmallow treats.
There were some very creative dioramas this year including: “Dancing with the Peeps”, “Hoarding Peeps: Buried Alive”, “Occupy Peeps Street” and the teen flick mash up —“The Hunger, Harry Potter, Twilight Games”
This year’s winner was our Brand Marketing team with their UP-inspired Peeps display (photo above). Great job everyone!
In our constant effort to spread Random Acts of Kindness, we’re doing the Zappos Happy Hunt in Portland, OR starting today until Saturday.

K: I would be a pina colada with a little bit of raspberry swirled in because I'm sweet with just a bit of sassy.
If you had a plane ticket to go anywhere in the world where would you go?
K: I would go to Paris, because I have a feeling I could spend hours just hanging out near the Eiffel Tower.

K: Feminine, colorful, and modest.

K: My iPhone, chapstick, and lotion.
What’s your favorite part about working at Zappos?
K: My favorite thing about working at Zappos is all of the friends I've made…and I'm a big fan of the nap room as well.
Name one thing you do to cultivate and help spread our culture.
K: I like to participate in the dress up days because it brings out the fun and weird in everyone.
Name three fun facts about yourself:
K: I can play the piano, my eyebrows are ambidextrous, and I'm obsessed with my Carlashes (yes, my car has pink eyelashes on the headlights).

Did you know that 2.2 million people in developing countries, most of them children, die every year from diseases associated with lack of access to safe drinking water, inadequate sanitation and poor hygiene? We all know that without water, there is no life, but this is a daily reality for a large majority of the planet.
This is why the Zappos Family celebrated World Water Day on March 22nd to raise money for one of our favorite charities: charity:water. We had a few challenges that employees participated in, all to raise awareness and money towards this great cause.
At the end of the day, $1,690.75 was donated to charity:water! That’s enough money for 85 individuals to have access to clean drinking water!
During this year’s Zappos.com West Coast Conference Championships, Zappos.com rallied the audience to break the Guinness World Record for the most simultaneous high fives. The result: 3,504 high fives in one glorious moment that literally went down in the record books!
