For most people, Thanksgiving is about spending time with friends and family, as well as giving thanks for what we have. It is also a day to enjoy a lot of great food. The entire house is filled with unmistakable aromas that make your mouth water and have you loosening your belt in preparation for pigging out.

One of the reasons Thanksgiving is so great is all those amazing Thanksgiving dishes that are usually only made once a year: Thanksgiving turkey, candied yams, stuffing, green bean casserole, etc. It makes you hungry just thinking about it. It's seem like everyone has their favorite dish, so we decided to ask people around Zappos what is their favorite.

The day after Thanksgiving, also know as Black Friday, is the busiest shopping day of the year. It's a day where many shoppers are enticed to brave the massive crowds in search of those to good to be true deals.

Whether it's braving the elements on a cold winter camp out in front of your favorite department store, or squeezing your way through the wall to wall people to get to that "gotta have it" item, many crazy stories come from the adventure that is Black Friday. We find out some of the stories from Zappos employees.

The Zappos slogan is "Powered by Service". Everything that we do is focused with our customer in mind. In fact, our call center has an entire team, called quality assurance, which focuses on making sure our customers' experience is the best it can possible be.

This week our QA team went around the office and surprised some of the employees that received the top customer service scores for the current period.
