Celebrity Gossip: Megan Fox Talks Trash

Tom Brady has finally confirmed what the entire world has known for the past month or two. His wife, model Gisele Bundchen is pregnant and the baby is expected to arrive sometime in December. In an interview that the NFL star did for ESPN’s SportsCenter, he joked that he “told her no Sundays,” when it came time to give birth to the baby. He also jokingly said, “It couldn’t be harder than training camp, so I’ll be prepared.” The latest pictures of Bundchen definitely showed a growing baby bump so it was no surprise that the couple would have to confirm the baby news sooner or later. This will be the first child for Gisele and the second for Tom Brady. Tom has a 2-year-old son with his ex, actress Bridget Moynahan.

Another daddy-to-be that has confirmed another child on the way is actor Colin Farrell. The actor confirmed that he and his girlfriend Alicja Bachleda are expecting their first child together. The couple started dating earlier this year. This will be the second child for Farrell as he has a 5-year-old son with model Kim Bordenave.

Apparently Megan Fox‘s coworkers are not that happy with her and what comes out of her mouth. Recently Fox compared the Transformers director Michael Bay to Adolph Hitler and three anonymous film crew workers from Transformers had something to say about it. On the movie’s website, the crew members wrote an open letter to the fans calling Megan Fox “thankless, classless, and graceless.” These crew members have worked with Bay for the past ten years and wanted to “set a few things straight.” They went on to call Fox, “dumb-as-a-rock,” and “ungracious.” The later part of the letter mocked the comparison between Fox and Angelina Jolie stating that they have worked with Angelina before and Megan is nowhere near being Jolie. The letter ended with “Hopefully Michael will have Megatron squish her character in the first ten minutes of Transformers 3.” The writing has since been removed from the website but Bay took to his own website and said that he “doesn’t condone the crew letter to Megan.” He added that he still looks forward to working with Megan Fox on the next Transformers and expects even more outlandish quotes from her. So, is this simply fame gone to her head or is she that oblivious that you don’t go talking about people that way?

Celebrity Gossip: Candace Crawford and Tony Romo

Apparently Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo couldn’t stay away from each other for very long. The couple, who just recently broke up this summer, have already reunited and are back together. They had been together for three years, shortly after Nick divorced Jessica Simpson. The couple has been seen spotted at several places together and was spotted flying together at JFK airport. According to a close friend though, the couple is not back together officially and is just “hanging out.”

In other Jessica Simpson exe news, her latest ex, Tony Romo is dating actor Chace Crawford‘s little sister. Romo just broke up with Simpson in July on the day before her 29th birthday but seems to be completely fine with the whole thing. Some people are comparing Candice Crawford, 22, to Jessica, as a younger and skinnier version of the singer. According to an inside source, Candice, who was Miss Missouri 2008, was “not happy” that her and Tony’s relationship got out to the public, but “they were not trying to hide it.”

In other celebrity hookup news, it appears that Candice Crawford is not the only girl to snag herself an athlete. Reality star Khloe Kardashian is now dating Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom. Khloe’s sister, Kim Kardashian told PEOPLE, “They’re very, very happy.” She added, “They’ve been together a few weeks, and are literally inseparable. Khloe thinks he’s amazing and makes her laugh and smile constantly.” The couple has been spotted out and about hitting the LA clubs this past week. It is also being said that Kim is back with her athlete man, NFL player Reggie Bush, after a short breakup.

Another celebrity who seems to have a new partner (although he is not an athlete) is Shia LaBeouf. The Transformers actor has been seen cuddling and kissing with his on screen co-star Carey Mulligan. The two are currently filming the sequel to Wall Street, called Money Never Sleeps in New York City. There has been no confirmation from a rep on the relationship, but from the pictures of them getting friendly off set, there seems to be more than just a professional relationship between the two of them.

Evolution of Clothing: The Monokini

Ancient Egyptian and Greek scriptures have depicted women in water scenes wearing short cotton skirts that were waisted below the bust and held up by two straps that mark the earliest versions of the modern monokini. However, European designer, Rudi Gernreich, holds the title for designing the first monokini in 1964. A cross between a one-piece swimsuit and a two-piece, the design consisted of a bikini bottom with straps that ran over the shoulders. He also is responsible for naming the garment and was recorded in the English language that same year. The term monokini, refers to a bikini bottom held in place by two straps which, at least partially, cover the breasts. His vision to create a garment with minimal construction and detailing to maintain focus on the body itself received mixed reviews during the conservative times. In the face of the critics, the monokini was a highly purchased item for shoppers that summer, selling over $3,000 in the suits. Although not very successful in the US, it was a great hit in Europe by the early 1970’s.

After its first season, the monokini grew quickly out of style, nonetheless, the exposing suit began a new era in swimsuit design. Designers soon began experimenting with strategic cutouts and mesh coverage in swimwear design. For the Sports Illustrated cover in 2000, Laetitia Casta was photographed in a vintage 1967 Gernreich monokini, reviving interest in the swimsuit. Today, the monokini is the hottest summer trend in swimsuit since its debut. Popular designs are cut-out one-piece swimsuits with designers using fabric, mesh, chain, and straps to bond the top and bottom sections together, like Dolce & Gabbana’s Monokini with Metal Ring & Gold Lurex Piping. Celebrities including Paris Hilton and Eva Longoria Parker, have been photographed in stylish monokini designs, only growing the popularity of this up to the moment trend.

From the Runway to Your Closet: Fall Fashion Trends

Before you know it, fall will be upon us, so I figured we should start looking at some of the fall runway fashion trends. For the fall 2009 season it appears that there is no shortage of prints for clothing and accessories. We are talking about just about every print imaginable for fall clothing.

The fall runways consisted of geometric , plaid , floral , paisley , and animal prints. This fall season should be anything but boring when it comes to your clothing. Everything from shoes to blouses can have some sort of print or pattern on them. Now, this doesn’t mean that you would wear a plaid shirt with a floral skirt, but the runways did see prints intermixed and used together in the same outfit. If you do choose to mix prints, remember to keep one piece of the outfit a subtle print that is almost like a neutral and the other piece could be a louder print, giving the outfit a flare.

Some people avoid printed and patterned clothes like the plague, but that does not have to be the case. It is possible to wear a print and for it to be flattering on you. There are plenty of clothing pieces for the fall that are white and black printed or brown and cream printed. If you want to be more subtle in your clothing and flatter your figure, you can easily stick to these more neutral and less loud prints. They draw less attention to your body, which many women tend to want to do.

Printed clothing can also be flattering in that it can draw the eye away from trouble spots on your body. If you don’t your stomach, you can easily use a print to draw attention away from your stomach and to a feature that you do like such as your face or even your legs. The key to this is to find a dress or shirt that does not have a print around the stomach area but has some sort of print or design at the neckline or the bottom of the dress. This draws a person’s attention away from your stomach to the areas where the pattern is.

If you are interested in following the runway fashion trends, then you definitely want to add printed blouses, shoes, dresses, skirts and even handbags to your fall collection.

Celebrity Gossip: Celebrity Breakups

Not only did Janet Jackson lose her brother Michael, but US Weekly is reporting that her and her fiancé Jermaine Dupri have called it quits as well. An inside source told the magazine, “His friends are telling people it’s over.” Another source echoed that saying, “They have been moving in different directions for a while.” Apparently mixing business with pleasure is what hurt the couple the most. A friend of the couple said, “Janet felt their lives were too crossed and they should have kept things separate.” Another reason for the long time couple’s break up was that they were just too opposite of people. Janet is on the shy side, while Jermaine likes to be out with the crowds, talking and mingling with others. Currently Janet is busy helping to care for Michael’s three kids, but is “devastated” at the breakup.

In other celebrity breakup news, professional football player Tony Romo has called off his relationship with Jessica Simpson. It appears that since breaking up with her ex-husband Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson is only getting her heart broken. First, John Mayer and now Tony Romo. Worst of all, Romo dumped Jessica the day before her 29th birthday. “Jessica was really blindsided,” says a family friend. “She’s sad, mad, and confused. Her emotions are all over the place.” The couple started dating back in November 2007 and Jessica has said that she could picture herself marrying Tony. Poor Jessica, while her sister Ashlee enjoys marriage and her son, Jessica seems to not be able to get a break with guys. Maybe she should have realized what she had with her husband Nick Lachey. Could this karma coming back to haunt her?

On a happier note, G.I. Joe star Channing Tatum married his Step Up costar Jenna Dewan last week in Malibu. The pair wed in front off 220 guests which included bridesmaid Haylie Duff and her boyfriend Nick Zano. Their outdoor ceremony at a beachfront estate was followed by a sit-down reception in a tent on the same estate. The couple first met on the set of Step Up in 2006. Channing proposed last September in Maui. Here’s hoping that this Hollywood couple can break the mold and stay together.
