Prince William and Katie Middleton Prepare for $40 Million Wedding

Prince William and girlfriend Katie Middleton are rumored to be getting married this summer, and reporters are stating that Prince William may propose after he turns 28 this June 21. Star Magazine reports that the wedding will cost up to $40 million, and Kate Middleton has already signed a confidentiality agreement with the Royals to ensure that she won't spill any details about her relationship with Prince William, and the wedding, to the press or anyone else.

According to The Sunday Express, there are rumors that the couple plans to marry in 2012 to coincide with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Others believe that the couple won't be exchanging vows until 2013. Star magazine's senior editor Suzanne Rozdeba says that Katie Middleton has already ordered a dress that cost $200,000. The wedding celebration is expected to be a momentous occasion, and will likely attract over 3 billion viewers, according to ShowBizSpy.com.

Prince William and Katie Middleton have been a couple since 2003, after meeting as students at Scotland's University of St. Andrews. The prince went on to pursue a military career at the Royal Navy, while Katie held down a job after graduating from Scotland's University of St. Andrews.

The couple encountered a rough patch recently after the paparazzi managed to track them down on a family vacation. According to The Daily Beast, the engagement was supposed to be announced on June 3 or June 4 but was postponed because Prince William believed that Katie may have shared her whereabouts with someone, and the paparazzi caught wind of the family's location.

A photographer managed to snap a few pictures of Katie playing tennis with her brother and sister on the Manor court, and even though the pictures were never released to the press, Prince William had enough cause to sue because Katie had been on a private vacation on a communal court. She was awarded $7,129 in damages and promptly donated it to charity.

Still, William believed that someone in Katie's family or social circle may have been tipping off reporters and photographers, because the paparazzi continued to track down the couple.

Marriage, Divorce, Love and Hate

J-Lo: A Mariah Carey Copycat?

It's doubtful a diva cat fight is brewing, but J-Lo did pull a copycat wedding vow renewal recently. Jennifer Lopez and a gaunt looking Marc Antony renewed their wedding vows in front of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and other friends on June 5, 2010, the fourth anniversary of their wedding. Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon also renewed their wedding vows this past spring, as they do annually.

Kristen Stewart: Love Hate Relationship

Kristen Stewart continues her love/hate relationship with fame, the press and the public. She tried her best to smile and have a good time at the MTV Movie Awards, but there were times when she let her grimace slip through. Stewart has been in the news recently due to what some felt where inappropriate comments. She has since apologized, and the MTV crowd still loves everything and everyone Twilight.

Isn't It Ironic?

Alanis Morissette, angry female vocalist with a hobo bag full of talent, married fellow singer Mario "MC Souleye" Treadway. Alanis and her new husband are both musicians, new to marriage (it's the first marriage for both of them), and they're both 30 something. There are baby bump rumors floating around the web, but so far that's all they appear to be, rumors. Time will tell.

Dog Whisperer, Not Wife Whisperer

Apparently, the dog whispering talent of Cesar Millan does not extend to understanding what women want. The dog whisperer and his wife of 16 years are headed for divorce.

Sandra Bullock Living Normal

Sandra Bullock is ready to get back being normal she told the audience at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. Sandra Bullock looked amazing when she walked up on the stage. Her hair was tucked neatly away off her face, and she glowed as if she had been treated to a month-long mud bath, Shrek style. Her toned legs looked even longer thanks to the near nude-beige pumps she wore with her black dress.

Romantic Spring Wedding Shoes

Sweep your feet off their feet in a pair of wildly romantic off-white wedding shoes. Ideal for brides and bridesmaids alike, a pair of ivory or champagne wedding shoes is a little easier on the eye than bright white in the spring. Ivory wedding shoes can be worn with your choice of heirloom family gold jewelry, or some brand new gold pieces from your prince or princess charming.

Ivory and champagne both marry well with a delicate pink, spring green, robin's egg blue or a light purple. For a more modern twist, weave a tangerine orange, deep coral or lime green with the light pink and champagne white.

Champagne Dreams

The RSVP Lauren bridal shoes in champagne satin are closed in the front with a feminine rounded toe. A thin Mary Jane strap keeps this shoe girlish, as do the rows of tasteful ruffles on the back of the shoe. A four-inch heel elevates the bride to lofty heights.

The Me Too Jeanettes in the same delicious champagne satin offer a peep toe and a pristine bow with perfect posture on the toes. The wedding slingback is a tad shorter than the four-inch RSVP Lauren, with a three and 3/4 inch heel.

Pour on a pair of RSVP Ivana pumps in a deeper champagne hue. The pumps are adorned with a romantic tulle rosette. The handcrafted look of the rosettes adds a vintage look to the wedding pump.

Well-Placed Jewels

Wedding sandals are not necessarily synonymous with casual, as exhibited by the A. Marinelli Rascal sandals in ivory satin. Well-placed rhinestones decorate the strappy wedding sandals in minimal fashion. The wedding sandals have a 3 1/4-inch heel and have a convenient adjustable strap.

The Sands of Pink

Somewhere between the worlds of ivory and pink is a pair of Nina Ulexa in Powder Sand Luster Satin. A diagonal strip of ruffled petals float from the ankles to the toes. Two delicate straps, an elasticized one at the ankle, and a thin one at the toes.

Spring Shoe Wedding Styles for Guests, Bridesmaids and Brides: Spring Wedding Bling

Silver metallic shoes with medium heels are on the wedding planning menu this spring. Silver is a flattering metallic color that will sparkle during the day, and make the bridesmaids look like they are dancing on stars at night. You can keep bridesmaids from toppling over or spoiling your well-planned bridesmaid ensembles by selecting medium-height bridesmaid shoes they can wear all day and night. A pair of medium-height shoes are flattering and will give the bridesmaids more partying endurance than shoes that are too high.

Medium Heels

Not all of your bridesmaids may be able to pull off a three-inch plus heel, and a shorter heel will make everyone more comfortable. A medium heel measures between 1 3/8 inches and 2 1/2 inches, which gives the bride and bridesmaids some options. The medium heel is a better option than a flat or a low heel when the groomsmen are on the tall side, or the bridesmaids are wearing hemlines that look better with some height.

Silver Metallics

Metallic silver shoes pair well with popular spring wedding colors including lavender, pink, sky blue or pistachio green. Silver can be incorporated inexpensively into the bridesmaids' outfits with silver ribbon belts or silver hair accessories. As bridesmaid gifts, consider matching silver cocktail rings with large costume jewels to match the wedding theme colors.

The Bouquets Sibylle peep-toe metallic silver shoe has a covered heel, a medium heel in pump style and is adorned with a band of sequins bordering the shoe opening, as well as sequins randomly dotting the rest of the shoe fabric.

Less formal than the Bouquets Sibylle, is the Annie Darius, which has a more modern appeal. These sling backs have a metallic front tip and breathable mesh with an adjustable ankle strap.

When choosing your medium-height silver metallic shoes for spring, opt for partially closed pumps or sling backs. Shoes which are too open in the front, sides and back are more suited to the summer wedding.

Spring Shoe Wedding Styles: Shoe, I Do! Bridal Spring Wedding Shoes: All Frills!

Dress up your spring wedding shoes with frills, thrills and embellishments. From fabric-wrapped, frilly heels to bows and roses, your frilly shoes will elevate you to full princess status on your big day. These embellished shoes are embellished with fabric, not metals (save for subtle rhinestones on the buckles), making them easier to pair with your wedding gown and jewelry.

Frills From Heel to Ankle

From top to bottom, these shoes say, "I do!" Covered in frilly, ribbed fabric from heel to ankle, the Pour La Victore Sonya heels take the cake. A delicate white strap crosses the ankle, and a slightly wider, yet still feminine strap hugs the foot below the toes. These shoes are a perfect match for your wedding gown, and when your beloved takes them off you, there is a rhinestone message which reads, "I do."

Spring Wedding Shoes with Floral Embellishments

Command the room from head to toe with RSVP Gigi ivory or white spring wedding shoes embellished with feather-like bunches of tulle. The T-strap adds sex appeal to the shoe, and will provide support to the back of the heel. The RSVP Gigi has a three and a half inch heel with a lightly padded soul.

Or opt for two perfect white roses, opened just the right amount and adorning each ankle, with the Nina Critia in ivory or white luster satin. Nina Electra white stain shoes with an oversized bow fit into a formal spring wedding.

Formal Spring Wedding Shoes

Embellishments can be formal as with the layers of satin found on Nina Elga luster satin spring wedding shoes. The delicate folds mimic a traditional cummerbund.

Flirty Dancing at Your Spring Wedding

RSVP Cora shoes want to move. The strappy wedding heels have small leaf-shaped embellishments twining together. They will flutter when you move, adding a bit of extra magic to your walk down the aisle and your famous dance moves.

Spring Wedding Shoes: Peacock Theme

Spring wedding shoes are blooming with colors. Weddings with a turquoise or peacock theme open themselves up to a multitude of wedding theme colors. Brides, bridesmaids and guests can all wear their shoes proudly when they flock to the peacock theme.

Blue and Black, Modern

For a modern spring wedding with a peacock theme, a pair of peep toe shoes with an angled, architectural heel will keep you dancing steadily through the night. Best for a formal or evening wedding, these dark-soled shoes will not be tossed in the back of the closet after the reception.

Suede, Low Heels

For showing off ankles, the Charles David Harper in turquoise is a must.

Flat and Sweet

For tall bridesmaids and guests, consider a flat Mary Jane shoe in turquoise. The Gabriella Rocha Ginger has a short, black heel, a wide Mary Jane strap and a cute button, all in turquoise leather. Or add some sheen to the peacock theme with simple and keep Gabriel Rocha's teal patent leather pumps. For a traditional pump shape with a peep toe, and a little less shine, RSVP makes the Katrina in teal.

Peep Toe Booty

A teal peep toe booty with teardrop cut outs around the ankle is fancy enough for a wedding, thanks to the gold trim details. Seychelles Tippy Toes in Teal have angled heels, which are covered in teal. A gold strap ties the shoes together in the front in a festive bow. For a touch of gold with your peacock wedding theme, these booties are a sensible alternative to full-on gold shoes for a spring wedding.

Extreme Peacock

The woman who wears these shoes is in for an adventure at her wedding. Choose these for a fun and flirty bride, or your tamed-for-the day best friend bridesmaids. These satin shoes are adorned with peacock feathers and will not go unnoticed. These shoes are flirty enough to jazz up your favorite skinny jeans or spring capris, after the wedding is over.
