No other color captures such a crisp and pristine feeling like white does, which is why we’re understandably smitten with white denim this summer.White denim is no longer limited to spring through Labor Day wear. It has definitely earned its place as a quintessential summertime must-have.

Few prints are as translatable across different styles than classic stripes. Whether you’re into classic or trendy style, stripes have the uncanny ability to fit in seamlessly into your wardrobe.

We’re particularly obsessed with  stripes for summertime, thanks in part to its nod to nautical style, which we covered in last week’s men’s Stylists’ Picks. 

The look on the left is a cool, downtown approach to stripes, while the one on the right is a more classic, country club-inspired rendition of the beloved print. Either way, stripes always add a fresh and summery vibe.

Many fashion-enthusiasts believe in the old adage “the shoes can either make or break an outfit”, and we feel that this is certainly true when it comes to a cocktail party attire. Dressing for a cocktail event can be a conundrum at times, but starting with a pair of fabulous party shoes is a great starting-off point to building an impressive evening look.

Enzo Angiolini has some super-sexy party-worthy heels this season, and we thought we’d share a few of our can’t-live-without favorites (Left to Right):

We’ve been seeing a wonderful resurgence of highly-embellished bridal footwear for the past few seasons and think that it’s something worth getting excited about. Anything goes when it comes to bridal shoes these days. You may have seen some pretty out-there shoe selections if you’ve perused through bridal blogs recently. From sneakers to cowgirl boots, the rules have definitely gone out the window!

However, no matter how crazy and eccentric wedding shoes get, you can always count on embellished satin dress shoes as a timeless wedding staple. Even though we’re seeing a comeback of shorter heels and kitten heels, there’s still a special place in our hearts for the leg-slimming, leg-lengthening brilliance of sky-high platform wedges. For those of us who are on the shorter side, or those who just refuse to be seen in flats (you ladies know who you are!),  it’s  comforting to know that this season still boasts quite an impressive crop of height-amplifying platform shoes for us to lust over.
