Rihanna has a new man in her life and appears to be smitten with him. The singer has been seen heating up the beach with her new man Los Angeles Dodgers player Matt Kemp. The couple, who were introduced to each other by mutual friends last November, is vacationing together at a luxury resort in Cabo San Lucas. While relaxing near the pool at the resort, an eyewitness says that Rihanna and Matt "couldn't keep their hands off each other, and later they kept kissing while gazing out over the ocean." According to an inside source, "Rihanna wants the world to know that she is happy with Matt." An agent for Kemp says that they have had only "a few opportunities to be together, but those times have been fun." As most people know, the last person that Rihanna publicly dated was singer Chris Brown, who was accused of assaulting the singer. Hopefully she has found herself a better man with Matt Kemp.

Jennifer Aniston may be sad to hear that Vince Vaughn is officially off the market. The actor married Kyla Weber in a private ceremony that took place in a historic mansion right outside of Chicago, which is Vince's hometown. Weber is not in the Hollywood business as she is a real estate agent from Canada, which may be her appeal to Vince? Vaughn proposed to Kyla on Valentine's Day last year and kept mum on the wedding plans. The actor told PEOPLE in September that he was ready to get rid of his bachelor lifestyle and even admitted, "It's the first time that I really want to have kids." Vince had previously dated Jennifer Aniston, who was his co-star in the movie The Breakup, for about a year and half before meeting Weber. Kyla and Vince met through friends over a year ago and the actor says that she is "wonderful."

Chris Brown reveals that he is not ready to date yet and has been working on getting himself together. He told MTV News that he “loves women” and that they are always going to be around but he needs to take time for himself right now. He says, “I haven’t really been trying to get into a relationship or trying to date anybody. I’ve just kinda been working on me. Like I said, just really getting me straight.” In some recent interviews Rihanna has spoken out about the assault on her from Brown and has described what took place that night. Chris says that he wished that Rihanna would have kept the matter private and not done the interviews. Rihanna and Chris Brown have been ordered by the court to keep a distance from each other for 5 years. He says that women are always going to be around for him, but that may not be so true after hearing what Rihanna has said about the incident.

For all you Friends fans, you may be interested to know that according to Lisa Kudrow (who starred as Phoebe) “it doesn’t look like” a Friends reunion is going to happen. The reason is not as juicy as you may think. She simply says that “everyone is busy.” Although the cast may be busy there are some objections to the reunion show. It’s not the cast members who are against the reunion, it’s actually the show’s writer-creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane. Lisa also had some qualms about the reunion as well saying, “It would be fun, but I don’t know. How? Why? Really?” Friends ran for 10 years between 1994-2004. The other friends included Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox-Arquette, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer. There was a mini-Friends reunion as Lisa shot an episode of Courteney’s new television series, Cougar Town. I guess Friends fans will have to continue simply watch the reruns that are all on television.

It looks like one of rock’s greatest legends may be leaving one of rock’s biggest bands. Steven Tyler, the 61-year-old frontman of the nearly 40 year old band Aerosmith, is talking candidly about making a break from the band. At a time in his life when most men are thinking about retirement, Tyler is thinking about…launching a solo career? “I don’t know what I’m doing yet”, said Tyler, “but it’s definitely going to be something Steven Tyler – working on the brand of myself – Brand Tyler.” According to reports, the band’s problems got worse after Tyler injured himself during a show, and have disintegrated to the point where he’s not returning his confused bandmates’ phone calls. But guitarist Joe Perry is ready to move on without him – and doesn’t think much of the way he’s treating his long-time friends. Said Perry, “He’s obviously had this planned for a long time. To disregard his brothers to the point where we have to find out about it on the Internet – it’s like ‘See you later, Bud’.”

Basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has cancer. The announcement from his camp comes nearly a year after Abdul-Jabbar was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia. The former basketball star, 62, is the father of five and is currently coaching the Lakers. According to his reps, his cancer is being successfully treated and he is expected to live a full, healthy life. Abdul-Jabbar, who is normally very private about his life, says he came forward with the news to encourage fellow cancer patients, who he has learned often skip doctors appointments and do not take their medication.

With her new album, Rated R, set to drop on November 23rd, the singer is being very candid about where her inspiration came from. Rihanna, who was badly beaten by her then-boyfriend singer Chris Brown in February, said “I’m usually a very guarded person, so having to go in and reach your emotions and personal things to say, it was very vulnerable.” The singer recently talked in detail about the abuse she suffered at the hands of Chris Brown, much to Brown’s dismay, who said it was “between them.”

What is with all these celebrities (or so-called celebrities) not being able to afford their taxes? I mean celebrities have to have an accountant or financial planner helping them with their money right? The latest celebrity to be hit with back taxes is Austin Power’s Mini-Me Verne Troyer. The actor fell behind on his taxes in 2005 and 2008 and owes the government $10,869.36 in back taxes. I guess this is nothing compared to the millions that Nicolas Cage owes in taxes but still, the guy has to come up with almost $11,000 soon. A few months ago Verne had mentioned that Mike Myers was coming up with an Austin Powers 4 movie. He better hope that Mike writes it awful fast so he can get some money.

Singer Mariah Carey is stepping forward and admits that she was emotionally abused in a relationship. She says that she can relate to singer Rihanna and her relationship with Chris Brown as she too was emotionally and mentally abused. Mariah, who married Nick Cannon last year, says that she has been through some painful relationships in the past. She told Larry King in an interview, “You know, I just think you get into a situation and you feel locked in. If your situation is similar to one of the situations I’ve been in – which I won’t harp on – for me, to really get out, it was difficult because there was a connection that was not only a marriage but a business thing, where the person was in control of my life.” In the same interview, Mariah also denounced the rumors that she was pregnant. She says that she would love to have a child now but with her movie Precious and singing career she does not have the time to devote to motherhood like she wants to. She said, “I wouldn’t be just like, ‘Oh, I’m having a child, Yay! Let me get a nanny so I can give her the baby. Take the kid. That doesn’t work for me. I don’t believe in that.” At least this is one celebrity who takes motherhood seriously rather than just pawning kids off on a nanny.

Despite rumors that Jennifer Aniston will host a weekly talk show for Oprah Winfrey’s cable channel, a rep for the actress has confirmed that Aniston is not returning to television. There were several tabloids and celebrity magazines that alleged the star didn’t care about money and wanted to do the show because she thought it would be fun. A rep for the actress told US magazine that the rumors were “absolutely false.” Jennifer has not taken on a full time television role since she played Rachel Green on Friends 10 years ago. Her friend and former co-star Courtney Cox-Arquette just recently returned to television once again the show Cougar Town.

Once again rumors that have been circulating in the tabloids as well as online websites have been proven to be untrue for now. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were spotted walking arm in arm last week and just recently conquered climbing Grouse Grind, which is a trail 2,800 feet up to the peak of Grouse Mountain, together. There have been rumors spreading all over that the couple has split up and that Justin is already dating Rihanna. I don’t think Rihanna would like Justin spending time with his ex-girlfriend like this, so I for right now I am saying that Justin and Jessica are still on.

Could Taylor Swift and Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner be more than just friends? The two are filming a movie called Valentine’s Day together but have been seen together quite a bit off of the movie lot. Lautner attended Swift’s concert in Chicago and was given a special hug a few weeks ago. Recently the two were spotted at the Los Angeles Kings game and hanging out afterwards. Reps for Swift or Lautner did not comment on the relationship. Wouldn’t these two make a pretty good looking couple even though Lautner is still a minor at 17 years old and Swift is 19 years old?

Decades after his untimely death, Bruce Lee’s movies continue to inspire other filmmakers to make contemporary martial arts films. In 1985, Motown legend Berry Gordon put his seal of approval on The Last Dragon, a tongue-in-cheek adventure with plenty of high-kicking action.

Real-life martial arts expert Taimak Guarriello plays Leroy Green, a New York City kid who is a huge fan of Bruce Lee’s movies, so much so that people start calling him “Bruce Leroy.” To honor the memory of his fallen idol, Leroy studies karate and other martial arts, but before he can achieve the final level of his training, he must seek out the proper master to teach him. While seeking his advanced training, a rival named Sho’nuff (Julius Carry) wants to fight Leroy. Calling himself the “Shogun of Harlem,” Sho’nuff needs to beat Leroy to become the undisputed champion of New York City, but Leroy doesn’t believe in fighting unless it is absolutely necessary.

Leroy also catches the eye of Laura Charles (Vanity), the host of a popular television dance show. When ruthless businessman Eddie Arkadian (Christopher Murney) kidnaps Laura, Leroy uses his fighting skills to rescue her. Laura definitely is attracted to Leroy, but Arkadian hires Sho’nuff to take care of Leroy once and for all.

With great martial arts action and a soundtrack featuring songs from Debarge and Stevie Wonder, The Last Dragon definitely is a 1980’s classic. Taimak Guarriello gives the Leroy Green character an eagerness that makes him a likable, if somewhat goofy, hero. Leroy identifies so much with Bruce Lee that he even eats his popcorn at the movies with chopsticks.

Vanity, who was once romantically and professionally linked to Prince, also turns in a nice performance, but it is Julius Carry who steals the show. Built like a brick wall, Carry makes the Shogun of Harlem a definite force to be reckoned with. The Last Dragon is considered such a classic, in fact, that singer Rihanna is being considered for the Laura Charles role in a remake starring Samuel L. Jackson. If all goes well, Bruce Leroy and Sho’nuff might be coming back to theaters in the near future.

Vampires have bitten the nation! With Twilight being dubbed as the next Harry Potter, until the second movie in the series, New Moon, comes out, people will have to settle for season two of True Blood, a vampire series on HBO. Anna Paquin stars, and according to various entertainment websites, she’ll be showing lots more skin. Photos of a topless Paquin filming a scene have been leaked, and it’s rumored even more of her will be bared during the season.

Speaking of baring skin, Bethenny Frankel of The Real Housewives of New York showed a little too much in a sheer black jumpsuit at the Apollo Theater 75th Anniversary Gala the week of June 13th. We guess now that the show has wrapped, she really wants to put herself out there.

And finally, Rihanna is getting ready to testify against her ex-boyfriend (and rumored current boyfriend, according to gossip sites), Chris Brown, in his assault trial. The singer will be in LA Monday, June 22 to testify at the preliminary hearing. It looks like Brown is already trying to clean up his public image, however. He’s allegedly hired a crisis management company called Sitrick and Company to help reverse his public image. Everything he’s done thus far, from his appearance at the NBA final game with a Rihanna-lookalike to his video on YouTube has been the carefully calculated work of the firm. But even though making more tame public appearances might make the trial fade into the background for some people, we’re sure it’s not working with Rihanna. The preliminary hearing should be interesting.

According to Maxim magazine, actress Olivia Wilde is the hottest woman of 2009. The House actress came in at number 1 on the magazine’s annual Hot 100 list. The magazine goes through thousands of pictures of actresses, athletes, singers, and models and comes up with a yearly list of the top 100 hottest women. The other top five women on the list consisted of Megan Fox, Bar Refaeli, Malin Akerman, and Mila Kunis. Some other notable women who made the list are Britney Spears (#17), Angelina Jolie (#26), Vanessa Hudgens (#27), Penelope Cruz (#30), and Rihanna (#8).

For all you One Tree Hill fans, you may be missing your favorite couple next year. Actor Chad Michael Murray who plays Lucas and Hilarie Burton who plays Peyton will not be coming back next season. The rumors have it that Chad Michael Murray was asking for too much money and the show executives could not work out a contract with them. With Hilarie it was a storyline in the show that caused her contract not to be renewed for next season. I wonder how much longer One Tree Hill will be on the air, since two of the main characters are leaving and that spells doom many times for television shows.

Hayden Panettiere must really like the older men. Although she is only 19 years old, she seems to go for guys who are at least 10 years older than her. She was last linked to her Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia, 31, and has no moved on to 31-year-old Steve Jones. The couple were seen in London eating dinner together and then attended a house party later that night together. Jones is a popular British TV personality. He has dated several other actresses and Hollywood celebs such as Halle Berry and Pamela Anderson. I guess Hayden is just mature for her age or really has a thing for dating men in their 30’s.
