A hippie party is truly a blast from the past, and one that tweens and teens will likely love to visit during a birthday celebration. With peace, love, and all things retro cool, a hippie party is an uber-cool party to plan with your tween or teen.

1. Send a Hippie Party invitation. Head to a vintage store and find peace sign and smiley face patches and purchase enough for your invitations. Use heavy card stock in bright colors and glue the patches on to the front of your party invitations. Inside, write all of your hippie party details.  Request that your guests come dressed as a hippie too.

2. Create cool hippie decorations using the signs of the times and creating your own and hanging them around the party area.

3. Make a peace sign banner to welcome your guests.

4.Play hippie music.

5. Tie dye shirts at the party.

6. Make love bead and hemp jewelry – these can serve as the party favors too.

7. Hippie trivia…who knows the era best?

8. Serve organic, healthy food just like the hippies would have enjoyed. Fruits, vegetables, tofu, and the like are all good choices.

9. Carrot cake for your birthday cake topped with a large peace sign drawn with icing.

10. Send the kids home with their tie-dye shirts and handmade jewelry for their party favors.

It's doubtful a diva cat fight is brewing, but J-Lo did pull a copycat wedding vow renewal recently. Jennifer Lopez and a gaunt looking Marc Antony renewed their wedding vows in front of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and other friends on June 5, 2010, the fourth anniversary of their wedding. Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon also renewed their wedding vows this past spring, as they do annually.

Kristen Stewart: Love Hate Relationship

Kristen Stewart continues her love/hate relationship with fame, the press and the public. She tried her best to smile and have a good time at the MTV Movie Awards, but there were times when she let her grimace slip through. Stewart has been in the news recently due to what some felt where inappropriate comments. She has since apologized, and the MTV crowd still loves everything and everyone Twilight.

Alanis and her new husband are both musicians, new to marriage (it's the first marriage for both of them), and they're both 30 something. There are baby bump rumors floating around the web, but so far that's all they appear to be, rumors. Time will tell.

Sandra Bullock is ready to get back being normal she told the audience at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. Sandra Bullock looked amazing when she walked up on the stage. Her hair was tucked neatly away off her face, and she glowed as if she had been treated to a month-long mud bath, Shrek style. Her toned legs looked even longer thanks to the near nude-beige pumps she wore with her black dress.
