DC x Subaru Pro Spec 2.0 MId

DC Mid Auto Line Driving ShoesDC LOW Auto Line Driving Shoes

A while back DC shoes introduced their auto line complete with driving shoes. These were obviously in direct relationship to Ken Block, Travis Pastrana and their assosiation with the Subaru Rally Team. Since the introduction of rally to the XGames and Ken's ever popular Gymkhana videos, the DC shoes rally series has had a great response. Since then DC has moved forward and released another banger, the Pro Spec 2.0! Unlike the Pro Spec 1.0 SFI race boot, the new Pro Spec 2.0 is now offered in a lifestle street low top and their more race inspired Pro Spec 2.0 Mid. Keep your eyes out for more to come from the DC Auto collection and get all the latest and greatest from DC here in the Zappos Rideshop!

Coolest Skate Park: Go with the Flow at the Best Skate Park in the Midwest

Around the world people visualize the Midwest as a land of wide open spaces and endless opportunities. While I can't vouch for the endless opportunities The Flow Skate Park in Columbus, Ohio can sure validate the concept of endless wide open spaces—at least as it relates to skate parks. This place is positively huge and thanks to unpredictable Midwestern weather it is all indoors. It is so huge in The Flow that it is hard to imagine colliding with another in session skater much less coming into contact with one.

Currently the Flow Skate Park is filled with 40,000 square feet of ramps of every size, style and design with more being built all the time. While there are some rails and bowls in evidence, The Flow Skate Park definitely specializes in ramps leading up, down and around the entire extent of the site. Viewing photos of this many ramps and jumps in one location can easily take your breath away—the construction of this skate park really is awe inspiring.

There are even huge jumps with giant foam pits on the other side to ensure a soft and safe landing. How very thoughtful, don't you think? Don't let this thoughtful nature make you believe this skate park isn't hardcore—these ramps, jumps and rails are definitely professional quality and could easily bite unaware beginners not paying attention.

The Flow Skate Park is located at 4252 Groves Rd. in Columbus, Ohio and is open Tuesday through Sunday (Monday it is closed for maintenance). Hours vary by season. BMX, skateboarders and rollerbladers are all welcome but don't worry—this place is big enough for everyone. If you buy a membership ($30 for a quarter of a year) entry is $6 for a session and if you are a non-member entry is $12. Considering the size of this skate park that is really reasonable. Helmets are required and knee pads are recommended. All inline skaters must wear wrist guards. Cool kids be sure to wear a pair of DC skate shoes.

Regardless of your skill level, age or experience there is plenty to do at The Flow Skate Park. So if you live in the Midwest (I don't care where, you have a car) you absolutely have to check out this skate park. It's easy to do—just go with The Flow.

RideShop Item of the Week: DC Villain LE Shoes Perfect for Any Snowy Climate

Just because there is snow, slush and ice outside doesn't mean you have to wear tacky looking heavy duty hiking boots. DC makes a very stylish line of shoes purposely built for the snow called Villain LE. But don't worry; there isn't anything remotely evil or anti-social about these stylish and warm shoes.

Fully lined on the inside and along the collar with warm faux-fur, the DC Villain LE shoes can keep away chills even in the most frigid of climates. These are the perfect shoes for heading into the lodge after a long day of skiing or snowboarding. There are no laces, so they are also perfectly easy to slip into and out of much like your most comfortable pair of slippers.

Built with an EVA insole to aid the cushioning of your feet, these shoes are also super comfortable no matter what sort of terrain you are walking over. Available in stylish brown or basic black, the DC Villain LE snow shoes feature leather stitching for a classic moccasin look. So no matter if you are just lounging at home or hitting some of the flicks at Sundance in the mountains of Utah the DC Villain LE shoes are the perfect choice.

So if you have had enough of trying to walk around ski areas in your clunky ski boots or just need something warm and easy to slip into to wear around town this winter there is nothing like the comfort afforded by this very special pair of DC shoes. Stylish for any occasion and built to last, the DC Villain LE line of shoes make a great winter accessory.
