Emerica x Skate 3

Emerica is pushing into the boundaries of virtual reality with this dope Reynolds Cruiser collaboration. Skate 3, the latest drop in the skateboarding franchise from EA, hit the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 a few months ago and offers up a thrash-ready world to cruise around in with your virtual avatar. And while Skate 3 is all about hitting up the handrails, it’s also about decking out your avatar in the freshest gear from the biggest brands around. Take these Reynolds Cruisers, for instance. These tie-dyed kicks from Emerica are the magnum opus of Skate 3, the ultimate reward in Skate 3 that you can slap on your in-game character.

Skate # Collab

But now, thanks to a special collaboration between Emerica and Skate 3, these trippin' kicks have transcended into real life. With tie-dyed synthetic uppers and Skate 3 logo accents throughout, these Reynolds Cruisers are as eye-catching on screen as they are on your feet. Plus, you won’t need a controller in your hand to rip up and down the streets with these bad boys.

Vans x Donny Miller

Vans X Donny Miller

Just released! Vans has teamed up with Artist Donny Miller on these one of a kind, limited editions, featured in a SK8-Hi and the Classic Slip-On from Vans.

Donny was born in Los Angeles and began his career early in art, working at a screen printer. From there he worked as an art director and creative director at top action sports companies. His fine art has been shown internationally, while his first book, "Beautiful People with Beautiful Feelings", was released in 2006 to excellent reviews, and has garnered a cult following.

Donny considers himself an absurdist conceptual artist. Hit art focuses on bringing an intellectual element to a mostly otherwise vapid, primitive and repetitive era in art. Donny also studies Muay Thai kickboxing and appreciates a good beating (just a side note).

Grab both of these new styles here and don't forget to check back with the Zappos Rideshop for all the newness dropping from Vans!

Vans Classic Slip On x Rise Against

Rise Against, Vans Slip ons

Chicago-based punk band, Rise Against has maintained an indie spirit throughout their steady march toward a broad and devoted international following. Vans commemorates a long relationship with the innovative group with these exclusive Slip-Ons featuring an electric variation on cover art from their newest album release, Appeal to Reason. Their fist-heart logo is printed on the footbed, and beneath are our durable waffle rubber soles.

Rise Against rose from the local Chicago scene to a phenomenon that has touched the lives of millions of listeners across the world. With equal doses of perseverance, conviction, artistry and commitment, the band gained a following through its earliest independent releases, while landing
the opening slot on national tours, and joining the Vans Warped Tour raised Rise Against’s profle even higher.

In 2004, the band released its breakthrough, Siren Song of the Counter Culture, with sales rocketing to Gold status. The follow-up, 2006’s The Sufferer and the Witness followed a similar path of success, with its engaging lead single “Ready to Fall” spun on heavy rotation. Though the fuke test is seemingly over, Rise Against has not opted to rest on its laurels with the creation of its latest album, Appeal to Reason. Lakai World Cup Series

Lakai World

Lakai designed these shoes in the spirit of the 2010 World Cup event. The first choice, the Jericho, is an obvious one because of it's already existing soccer aesthetic. Lakai further accentuated that look by adding a characteristic soccer stitch pattern to the toe and then applied a colorway derived from Spain/Barcelona in honor of Jesus Fernandez. The Guy shoe embodies Guy's heritage and carries the torch for Italy while the Lucas represents for France. All of these shoes are adorned with "Lakaifa" World Cup tongue labels and insole art. To the victor go the sneakers!

Globe x Valient Thor Haslam Mid

Globe X Valient Thor

“To truly shred the universe one needs to keep their feet in pristine condition. The only option is to rock a pair of the toughest kicks around. Put your foot in this!” That’s what Valient Thorr has to say about their new shoe collaboration with Globe as they continue on their quest to save the human race from devastation…

The grizzled time-space travelers are much more than meets the eye. Their combination of heavy rock n’ roll and thought-provoking lyrics gives their legions of fans–dubbed the “Thorriors”– food for thought through their staggeringly productive output. The group has averaged close to 250 tour dates a year, and is currently riding the popularity of their fourth album in five years, Immortalizer, which was released on Volcom Entertainment a couple months ago.

Valient Thorr has teamed up with Globe’s Chris Haslam—a Thorrior—to do a truly unique Co-Op shoe built on Chris’ Sabaton Mid Pro Model. The Black on Black on Black shoe features high-end Cracked Leather, a custom heel cavity cushion in the Vulcanized outsole with a polyurethane gel insert, the Valiant Thorr logo on the heel and band imagery on the insole. These things feel insane on your feet and make you feel like you’re from outer space--“It doesn’t matter where you’re from, it’s where you’re at and what you’re gonna do in your new kicks.”
