All eyes were on the UK this morning with the grandest, most publicized wedding in almost three decades, William and Kate’s royal nuptials. With all this buzz around the royal wedding, we thought we’d pay a little homage to our British blokes and lasses with some of the best modern fashion the UK has to offer.

Sure the Brits are all about pomp and circumstance, but when it comes to churning out the freshest fashion, they’re really on top of their game. There’s the cool and refined style of Ben Sherman, the freshly tailored ONETrueSaxon, and the classic, iconic design of Fred Perry. We also love the inventive yet polished style of Ted Baker, particularly their women’s collection. Check out the Ziaz Bow Neck dress. We think Kate Middleton would look quite stunning in it!

Last but certainly not least, another noteworthy British brand is Boxfresh. This hip London-based brand truly reflects the dynamic British streetwear scene in all of its glory. Oh, and did we mention that Zappos.com is an exclusive online retailer for Boxfresh in the U.S.?

Sign up for the Boxfresh Sweepstakes on the Zappos.com Facebook page for a chance to win a VIP camping experience at the Isle of Wight Festival. The Isle of Wight boasts a stellar lineup that includes Kings of Leon and the Foo Fighters! Hurry, the contest ends May 12th!

Future Queen of England, Kate Middleton, was seen at her first official royal duty sporting a hot pair of the ravishing Rouge ankle boots from Aquatalia by Marvin K. Middleton has already made quite a name for herself in the fashion industry with her style choices. The waterproof Rouge served great purpose at the naming ceremony of the RNLI lifeboat Hereford Endeavour as she and Prince William poured champagne on the vessel in celebration. The slightly pointed toe, accent strap and breathable microfiber lining are fitting for a future queen.

As if wearing Aquatalia boots on her first royal event wasn’t big enough, Middleton stepped out the next day in another pair of Aquatalia boots (the Rumba, from last fall). Marvin K. coined the term functional luxury to describe the innovative shoe, boot and sandal designs that allow women to live their lives without ever missing a step. Aquatalia has perfected the art of fusing technical elements to the latest fashion in footwear. Ease and comfort remain essential ingredients to looking fabulous every day. See why royalty is turning to Aquatalia and get a pair of Aquatalia boots before the rest of the world does at Zappos.com

Prince William and Katie Middleton Prepare for $40 Million Wedding

Prince William and girlfriend Katie Middleton are rumored to be getting married this summer, and reporters are stating that Prince William may propose after he turns 28 this June 21. Star Magazine reports that the wedding will cost up to $40 million, and Kate Middleton has already signed a confidentiality agreement with the Royals to ensure that she won't spill any details about her relationship with Prince William, and the wedding, to the press or anyone else.

According to The Sunday Express, there are rumors that the couple plans to marry in 2012 to coincide with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Others believe that the couple won't be exchanging vows until 2013. Star magazine's senior editor Suzanne Rozdeba says that Katie Middleton has already ordered a dress that cost $200,000. The wedding celebration is expected to be a momentous occasion, and will likely attract over 3 billion viewers, according to ShowBizSpy.com.

Prince William and Katie Middleton have been a couple since 2003, after meeting as students at Scotland's University of St. Andrews. The prince went on to pursue a military career at the Royal Navy, while Katie held down a job after graduating from Scotland's University of St. Andrews.

The couple encountered a rough patch recently after the paparazzi managed to track them down on a family vacation. According to The Daily Beast, the engagement was supposed to be announced on June 3 or June 4 but was postponed because Prince William believed that Katie may have shared her whereabouts with someone, and the paparazzi caught wind of the family's location.

A photographer managed to snap a few pictures of Katie playing tennis with her brother and sister on the Manor court, and even though the pictures were never released to the press, Prince William had enough cause to sue because Katie had been on a private vacation on a communal court. She was awarded $7,129 in damages and promptly donated it to charity.

Still, William believed that someone in Katie's family or social circle may have been tipping off reporters and photographers, because the paparazzi continued to track down the couple.
