When we work with our partners we do two things. We always test every single design that has the Gore-Tex badge on it for comfort and for waterproofness. The first set of test we do with our partners is that we take this shoe, once it's built with a Gore-Tex bootie, and we submerge it underwater and we flex it in a patented test called the Gore-Tex Wet Flexor Test. We flex it up to 300,000 times. The next test that we do with our is to test that the comfort of the shoes is right, and how we do that is we take a synthetic foot with a special test and we put it inside the shoe. And we actually emit moisture vapor, just like your foot would if it's sweating. Every single bootie and every single factory where this is made, all over the world, is tested, filled with air and submerged underwater to make sure that it is waterproof before it ever goes into the shoe. Once it's in there, we take shoes off the line and we fill them up with water again, or we put them in a centrifuge and spin them around to make sure that no teeny, tiny pinholes have gotten into this product while it's being manufactured. We don't just make a product, we make a promise. And that promise is that if the consumer isn't completely satisfied with the waterproofness, breathability and comfort, Gore will repair, replace or refund the purchase price of the product.
