Hat Attack was founded by husband and wife team, Bill and BJ Gedney, in 1981. A few years later, they launched an expanded collection of accessories including bags, belts, cosmetic cases, slippers and cold weather accessories.

Hat Attack has earned a reputation for delivering collections that have a classic sensibility, but always touch on the seasons’ trends through color, fabrication and trim details. Each season, an in-house design staff led by BJ Gedney, creates an original, trend-driven collection of hats and accessories. Bill Gedney and his production team, carefully control the manufacturing process.

In addition to giving a fresh look to classics such as twill crushers, trappers and berets, the Hat Attack design team draws on emerging trends to create hats and accessories that add a contemporary accent to key sportswear and ready-to-wear silhouettes.

Using some of the finest materials, Hat Attack’s signature spring/summer materials include raffia, panama, toyo, sea grass straw, cotton canvas and linen.

In fall/winter, their fabrications include solid and patterned wools; fur, both real and faux, shearling, and novelty knit yarns. The velour and fine fur felts are hand blocked and hand trimmed in their factory in the Bronx, NY.

Scarlett Johansson has collaborated with Neff Headwear to co-design the Neff Hope beanies in efforts to raise awareness and funds for City of Hope, one of the nation’s leading cancer research, treatment and education centers.

“Conscious consumerism is definitely something I believe in, and Neff’s platform for giving back seemed like a perfect fit. I helped create this Neff beanie with the hope that every purchase might make a cancer patient feel a bit more comfortable during his/her treatments and look cool and be cozy all the while. The beanies are eco friendly too, so they're nice to the earth as well as the wearer,” says Johansson.

For every Neff “Scarlett” Hope beanie sold, Neff will donate a beanie to a cancer patient currently going through treatment (up to 5,000). Buy one, give one. Each beanie will give comfort to someone who needs it the most.

We’re starting to get a little sneak peek of fall weather here in Las Vegas, and I couldn’t be more excited to start breaking out my favorite fall accessories!
