It’s official. Heidi Klum is no more. Heidi has officially taken the last name of her husband Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel otherwise just known as Seal. Heidi will now be known as Heidi Samuel but there is no word yet if the model plans on taking that name professionally or not. Heidi recently gave birth to her 4th child in October. She and Seal have 3 biological children together, Henry, 3, and Johan, 2, Lou, 1 month and Seal has also adopted her daughter Leni, 5, from a previous relationship. Her name change comes 4 years after marrying Seal. She hasn’t spoken out about why all of a sudden she wants to take Seal’s last name after 4 years. Could it be that she wants the same last name as her children?

Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony are being sued by a flight assistant for having a vicious dog. Flight attendant Lisa Wilson claims that Jennifer and Marc’s German shepherd attacked her during a private flight in 2006. “Floyd” apparently “growled and lunged at her” and then headbutted her leg” which caused Wilson to fall and seriously injure her back. According to the court documents it was the tray of silverware that triggered the dog’s attack. The reason why Wilson is suing is because she claims that Jennifer and Marc were aware that sharp and shiny objects upset the dog and they should have taken better safety precautions. The papers also read that Marc to the flight attendant, “not to make eye contact with the dog and to call Floyd by his name if she needed to pass.” Wilson’s lawyer added, “the dog was obviously dangerous . . . and it was only a matter of time before he hurt someone.” There is no word on what Lisa Wilson is suing for and why this case is coming forward over 3 years after it happened.

Illness seems to be going around Hollywood – just like everywhere else. Barely two months after giving birth to son Sparrow, Nicole Richie has been hospitalized with pneumonia. The star was hospitalized after appearing at a court hearing to get restraining orders on two paparazzi, looking ill and subdued, at which time her lawyer explained to the judge that she was not well. Richie, who is also mother to daughter Harlow, is currently being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

After a long autograph signing, Twilight star Robert Pattinson recently got more than he bargained for after making an off-handed joke to a fan. When stepping up to get his autograph, the fan immediately asked what she could do to get his attention. Pattinson replied, “Um, take your clothes off?” Unfortunately , Pattinson had overestimated the sanity of his fan base. The fan immediately began stripping off her clothes and was carted out by security. Said Pattinson, “I never felt more terrible.” Next time, he’ll think twice before suggesting anything to his wildly obsessive fan base!

Superstar actor Johnny Depp, 46, has once against scored People magazine’s annual designation of Sexiest Man Alive. Depp, who lives on a private Bohemian island with his longtime girlfriend and their two children, also won the honor in 2003. He remains one of America’s most beloved actors, though he claims to be ‘mortified’ by his fame. Depp, a private person, prefers to shy away from the public eye and surround himself with his family.

Chris Brown reveals that he is not ready to date yet and has been working on getting himself together. He told MTV News that he “loves women” and that they are always going to be around but he needs to take time for himself right now. He says, “I haven’t really been trying to get into a relationship or trying to date anybody. I’ve just kinda been working on me. Like I said, just really getting me straight.” In some recent interviews Rihanna has spoken out about the assault on her from Brown and has described what took place that night. Chris says that he wished that Rihanna would have kept the matter private and not done the interviews. Rihanna and Chris Brown have been ordered by the court to keep a distance from each other for 5 years. He says that women are always going to be around for him, but that may not be so true after hearing what Rihanna has said about the incident.

For all you Friends fans, you may be interested to know that according to Lisa Kudrow (who starred as Phoebe) “it doesn’t look like” a Friends reunion is going to happen. The reason is not as juicy as you may think. She simply says that “everyone is busy.” Although the cast may be busy there are some objections to the reunion show. It’s not the cast members who are against the reunion, it’s actually the show’s writer-creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane. Lisa also had some qualms about the reunion as well saying, “It would be fun, but I don’t know. How? Why? Really?” Friends ran for 10 years between 1994-2004. The other friends included Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox-Arquette, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer. There was a mini-Friends reunion as Lisa shot an episode of Courteney’s new television series, Cougar Town. I guess Friends fans will have to continue simply watch the reruns that are all on television.

Not only has actor Eddie Cibrian gone public with his relationship with singer LeAnn Rimes, whom he started dating while still married, but now he is rubbing it into his estranged wife even more by not giving her money to afford necessities. According to papers filed by Brandi Glanville, Eddie controls her credit card and has taken away the ability to get cash advances on it and lowered the spending limit. She is also requesting $36,963 in spousal support every month citing that Eddie makes $60,000 a week for CSI: Miami. Brandi says that she needs the money for things like the kid’s clothing , medical bills, and groceries. She states, “It has been very difficult and humiliating, not to mention disruptive to the children, for me to have my credit card declined at the supermarket.” Cibrian is currently paying for Brandi’s mortgage and utilities as their children live with her. According to Cibrian’s attorney the couple is trying to work out the money and custody arrangements and Eddie’s children are his “highest priority.” The two are due back in court in two weeks to try to settle the divorce.

Two popular teen idols of the 90’s are expecting little ones next year. Former Saved by the Bell star Tiffani Thiessen announced that she is pregnant with her first child. She and her husband of four years Brady Smith are expecting a little one next May. Thiessen is currently starring in the USA channel’s White Collar and will be returning to the set soon to start taping more episodes of the drama.

The other 90’s teen idol that is set to be a dad again is former Blossom star Joey Lawrence. The actor and his wife Chandi Yawn-Nelson are expecting their second child, a girl to be named Liberty Grace. The couple already has one daughter, Charleston, who is 3 years old. As for the baby’s name, Joey said that the Liberty is “something that I have always loved” and Grace pays homage to his grandmother.

It looks like one of rock’s greatest legends may be leaving one of rock’s biggest bands. Steven Tyler, the 61-year-old frontman of the nearly 40 year old band Aerosmith, is talking candidly about making a break from the band. At a time in his life when most men are thinking about retirement, Tyler is thinking about…launching a solo career? “I don’t know what I’m doing yet”, said Tyler, “but it’s definitely going to be something Steven Tyler – working on the brand of myself – Brand Tyler.” According to reports, the band’s problems got worse after Tyler injured himself during a show, and have disintegrated to the point where he’s not returning his confused bandmates’ phone calls. But guitarist Joe Perry is ready to move on without him – and doesn’t think much of the way he’s treating his long-time friends. Said Perry, “He’s obviously had this planned for a long time. To disregard his brothers to the point where we have to find out about it on the Internet – it’s like ‘See you later, Bud’.”

Basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has cancer. The announcement from his camp comes nearly a year after Abdul-Jabbar was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia. The former basketball star, 62, is the father of five and is currently coaching the Lakers. According to his reps, his cancer is being successfully treated and he is expected to live a full, healthy life. Abdul-Jabbar, who is normally very private about his life, says he came forward with the news to encourage fellow cancer patients, who he has learned often skip doctors appointments and do not take their medication.

With her new album, Rated R, set to drop on November 23rd, the singer is being very candid about where her inspiration came from. Rihanna, who was badly beaten by her then-boyfriend singer Chris Brown in February, said “I’m usually a very guarded person, so having to go in and reach your emotions and personal things to say, it was very vulnerable.” The singer recently talked in detail about the abuse she suffered at the hands of Chris Brown, much to Brown’s dismay, who said it was “between them.”

A while back I had written about how Nicolas Cage owed the federal government $6 million in back taxes and pondered how an actor who has made several decent movies could owe that much money. Well, I have now learned why. Apparently he is suing his former money manager for $20 million for providing him with bad financial advice and leading him down “a path of financial ruin.” That is not the whole story though. It appears that Mr. Cage likes to buy very expensive and unnecessary items, according to New York Magazine. He had a jet and two yachts to his name. He bought a dinosaur skull for $276,000. He had three castles as well as an island in the Bahamas. He had several other mansions that he owned in Bel Air as well. A collection of real shrunken heads. A $495,000 Lamborghini. These are just some of the luxury items that Cage has bought over the past 10 years. Most of these items have been sold or foreclosed on due to owing the United States government more than what an average person makes in their entire life. So, did his money manager make him buy these things? Is that why he is suing him?

Madonna has yet another job. It was just recently announced that she will be modeling for Dolce and Gabbana. She will be the face of Dolce and Gabbana for the 2010 spring/summer line. This is not the first time that Dolce and Gabbana and Madonna have teamed up though. The pop star had D&G design her costumes for her Girlie Show tour in 1993. They also designed some costumes for her Sticky and Sweet tour as well. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana told their online magazine that “to have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true.” Madonna’s ads for the D&G campaign were shot last week in New York City. The spring/summer line for Dolce and Gabbana is greatly inspired by the designers’ Italian heritage and includes classic pieces like corsets.

What is with all these celebrities (or so-called celebrities) not being able to afford their taxes? I mean celebrities have to have an accountant or financial planner helping them with their money right? The latest celebrity to be hit with back taxes is Austin Power’s Mini-Me Verne Troyer. The actor fell behind on his taxes in 2005 and 2008 and owes the government $10,869.36 in back taxes. I guess this is nothing compared to the millions that Nicolas Cage owes in taxes but still, the guy has to come up with almost $11,000 soon. A few months ago Verne had mentioned that Mike Myers was coming up with an Austin Powers 4 movie. He better hope that Mike writes it awful fast so he can get some money.

Singer Mariah Carey is stepping forward and admits that she was emotionally abused in a relationship. She says that she can relate to singer Rihanna and her relationship with Chris Brown as she too was emotionally and mentally abused. Mariah, who married Nick Cannon last year, says that she has been through some painful relationships in the past. She told Larry King in an interview, “You know, I just think you get into a situation and you feel locked in. If your situation is similar to one of the situations I’ve been in – which I won’t harp on – for me, to really get out, it was difficult because there was a connection that was not only a marriage but a business thing, where the person was in control of my life.” In the same interview, Mariah also denounced the rumors that she was pregnant. She says that she would love to have a child now but with her movie Precious and singing career she does not have the time to devote to motherhood like she wants to. She said, “I wouldn’t be just like, ‘Oh, I’m having a child, Yay! Let me get a nanny so I can give her the baby. Take the kid. That doesn’t work for me. I don’t believe in that.” At least this is one celebrity who takes motherhood seriously rather than just pawning kids off on a nanny.

A rep for actor Josh Duhamel is calling all the rumors about the actor cheating on his wife Fergie with a stripper completely false. The National Enquirer reported that Josh cheated on Fergie with a stripper named Nicole Forrester who goes by the stage name of “Delilah” while filming a movie in Atlanta. The rep stated, “This is not the first nor will it be the last time that a stripper was paid a large amount of money to sell a false story about a celebrity.” He added that the “story is absolutely ridiculous.” E! Online is reporting that they received an email from Forrester’s attorney and stated that she passed a polygraph test about being with Josh. Josh and Fergie were married on January 10, 2009.

Jessica Simpson , who is not having the best luck in the relationship department lately, says that she wants an “intellectual” and “spiritual man.” She says that she can get bored quite easily and needs someone who will keep her “intrigued,” as well as “inspire” her. The singer has not been linked to anybody since Tony Romo broke up with her the day before her 29th birthday in July. So, we are talking about a woman who confuses tuna with chicken and she wants an intellectual man so she doesn’t get bored? Very interesting.

Miley Cyrus is one of the most popular celebrities when it comes to tweens (9-15 year old), but she is also the worst celebrity influence for that age group as well. In a survey on the AOL’s JSYK.com 42% of the voters voted for Miley as being the worst celebrity influence of 2009. The website is aimed specifically at the tween age group. Britney Spears came in second and Kanye West came in third in the poll. There were no reasons given behind the voting decisions, but if you take a look back at the year that Miley had you may see why she was number one on the list. She dated a 20-year-old model, had some racy outfits that she wore to the red carpet events, was accused of pole dancing during a performance at an awards show, and took some rather controversial photographs that were released online. On the other hand, Miley’s friend Taylor Swift was voted favorite female artist while Miley took 4th in that category.
