According to Maxim magazine, actress Olivia Wilde is the hottest woman of 2009. The House actress came in at number 1 on the magazine’s annual Hot 100 list. The magazine goes through thousands of pictures of actresses, athletes, singers, and models and comes up with a yearly list of the top 100 hottest women. The other top five women on the list consisted of Megan Fox, Bar Refaeli, Malin Akerman, and Mila Kunis. Some other notable women who made the list are Britney Spears (#17), Angelina Jolie (#26), Vanessa Hudgens (#27), Penelope Cruz (#30), and Rihanna (#8).

For all you One Tree Hill fans, you may be missing your favorite couple next year. Actor Chad Michael Murray who plays Lucas and Hilarie Burton who plays Peyton will not be coming back next season. The rumors have it that Chad Michael Murray was asking for too much money and the show executives could not work out a contract with them. With Hilarie it was a storyline in the show that caused her contract not to be renewed for next season. I wonder how much longer One Tree Hill will be on the air, since two of the main characters are leaving and that spells doom many times for television shows.

Hayden Panettiere must really like the older men. Although she is only 19 years old, she seems to go for guys who are at least 10 years older than her. She was last linked to her Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia, 31, and has no moved on to 31-year-old Steve Jones. The couple were seen in London eating dinner together and then attended a house party later that night together. Jones is a popular British TV personality. He has dated several other actresses and Hollywood celebs such as Halle Berry and Pamela Anderson. I guess Hayden is just mature for her age or really has a thing for dating men in their 30’s.

Recent rumors sprouted around Jolie and Pitt concerning the addition of a new family member. When a report circulated last week that Jolie had fainted on the set of the movie she’s filming, it quickly fueled rumors that the couple might be preparing to welcome a new addition. US Weekly reports, however, that Angelina Jolie’s rep has brushed off these stories, saying that she never fainted.

Rumors of another baby were also fueled with a whirlwind of adoption questions. With a family comprised of both adopted and biological children, the Jolie-Pitts have made no secret of their love of international adoption and their desire for a large family. However, People Magazine reports that recent adoption rumors are without basis, so if Brangelina are considering another addition to the family less than a year after the arrival of the twins Vivienne and Knox, they’re still managing to keep it under wraps.

Though there seems to be no merit to stories concerning an expanding Jolie-Pitt brood, the couple has certainly been spotted enjoying the six children they’ve already got. With recent press about trips to the Shop and Stop and photos of regular dad Pitt dropping off the kids at school, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt might not be planning to add another child to their family yet, but they certainly seem intent on making their high-profile partnership work and keeping the kids as down-to-earth as possible

According to Malawi officials, Madonna is trying to be the next Angelina Jolie – she is actively trying to adopt another child from Malawi. She is expected there this weekend and could have her court date as early as Monday. It’s rumored that Madonna is looking to adopt a girl so that David Banda can have a sister.

Her recent divorce may make the process a bit difficult because Malawi doesn’t usually approve adoptions for single or divorced parents. Even though she has the means to take care of another child, we’ll have to see if the African country will allow her to adopt.

Jenny McCarthy graces the cover of the May issue of Shape magazine. The actress, author, autism activist, and mother shared her own fitness and health advice, saying she ballooned to 211 pounds after the birth of her son. Believe it or not, McCarthy joined Weight Watchers, which helped her control her portions and slim down.

She also says three years ago she switched to a gluten-free and dairy-free diet, a diet her son is on as well for his autism symptoms. That and taking up yoga keeps her svelte and strong. She even says she’s trying to teach her boyfriend, Jim Carrey.

Friday morning, a Northern Georgia District judge sentenced rapper T.I. to one year and one day in prison for felony weapons charges. The charges are from T.I.‘s arrest in October 2007 right before the BET Hip-Hop Awards. The sentencing was part of a plea deal. The judge, Judge Charles Pannell Jr., told T.I, whose real name is Clifford Harris, he had exceeded the court’s expectations.

“I’m resistant to the lockup mentality,” MTV.com reported Judge Pannell told the courtroom. “I hope this sentencing leads to other experiments that will protect the community and show a respect for the law.”

The rapper is supposed to go to prison within the next six to eight weeks. However, T.I has prior commitments, so he can’t enter prison before May 19. T.I. will discuss how he feels about his sentence on MTV’s show, “T.I.‘s Road to Redemption: The Reckoning,” on Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST.

Under the plea deal, after his release from prison, T.I. will be audited, be subject to drug counseling, DNA testing and random searches of his property, and he will not be able to own firearms. He will also be confined to his home under the same pre-trial conditions: a curfew, permission-only travel and a court-appointed supervisor.

It looks like actress Amanda Bynes is definitely over “The Hills“ reality actor Doug Reinhardt. The actress was spotted at SUSHISAMBA at the Palazzo having lunch with a group of friends. Bynes was seated with two other girls and two guys. Michelle Tsang of Preferred Public Relations told us the group ordered a large assortment of samba rolls and seemed like they were having a fun time together. They may have all been friends, but it seemed Amanda was paying more attention to one of the guys. She sat very close to this guy friend during the entire lunch. Yeah, we’re willing to bet that Amanda is over Reinhardt.

Bynes’ romantic status may be under speculation, but one new couple has been confirmed. “Gossip Girl“ actors Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr confirmed that they are seeing each other by kissing each other courtside at a Laker’s game. They’ve also been spotted kissing and flirting while waiting for a flight in the Dallas’ airport back in December.

Michael Phelps is trying to make amends after being caught taking a bong hit by the paparazzi. After a photo of him smoking pot was leaked, Phelps issued a public apology and went right back to swim training. This isn’t the first time he’s gotten in trouble with substances; he was arrested for a DUI in 2004 and was sentenced to 18 months probation. However, it’s still uncertain if he’ll swim in the 2012 Olympics.

And in movie news, Warner Bros. announced last week they want to shoot a new Lara Croft film. “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider“ grossed $275 million worldwide, but the sequel, “Cradle of Life,” didn’t impress audiences as much. Angelina Jolie has moved on, however, so Warner Bros. will recast the lead role. With no scriptwriter or director for the new Lara Croft film yet, it’s likely that casting won’t begin until much later this year.

What a nice girlfriend Jessica Biel is. She threw her boyfriend, Justin Timberlake a surprise birthday party. The party was a Super Bowl themed party held at the Roosevelt Hotel’s exclusive penthouse suite. A source says that Justin had no idea on what was going on and was absolutely surprised. There were approximately 100 party guests, which included close friends and family. I guess he has a lot of close friends and family. It must be nice to throw such a lavish party for your boyfriend. I think that Justin and Jessica are the young couple’s version of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. They both are rich and beautiful.

The former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner, Holly Madison, has quit her editor job at Playboy. Madison wrote on her MySpace page that she “quit for several reasons.” She went on to say, “It got to be routine, which was sad for me, since I was initially so passionate about the job and the creative aspects involved.” She also stated that working with her ex was “awkward.” Holly has now moved to Las Vegas to be with her boyfriend Criss Angel and also said the job at Playboy didn’t pay that much to commute to Los Angeles all the time. I can’t see that a Playboy editor wouldn’t be a high paying job. I don’t blame Holly for not wanting to work for Hefner anymore, but I think the awkward reason is the real reason why she quit.

Carrie Ann Inaba, who is one of the judges on Dancing With the Stars, has broken up with her boyfriend of two years, Artem Chigvintsev. The breakup actually quietly took place back in November of last year. The couple met when Artem was a contestant on the other dancing show, So You Think You Can Dance. Carrie Ann is 15 years older than Artem. I wonder what this cougar’s next prey will be.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association officially votes on the awards given out annually at the Golden Globes. Unofficially, though, the ceremony is known as the first celebrity fashion show of the year. And 2009 definitely demonstrated the stars’ abilities to deck themselves in their classiest clothes.

Among those with fashion-to-die-for: Kate Winslet, who looked sleekly chic in her perfectly fitted black gown (Stefano Pilati at Yves Saint Laurent). The only detraction: bonny Kate tended to tug at the top of her strapless dress. Demi Moore, attired in a white Dior that contrasted beautifully with her hair, continues to appear about three decades younger than she is.

And although she and Brad snubbed Ryan Seacrest, Versace -clad Angelina Jolie looked every inch the star in a draped gown. Special mention must go to Drew Barrymore, whose exquisitely fitted blue gown deservedly drew gasps of appreciation as she paraded down the red carpet. From her perfectly coiffed hair to her demurely clad shoes , Drew shone like a real star.

It almost seems cruel to comment on some of the truly bad fashion that showed up for the Golden Globes … but it’s irresistible. Standing out among the worst: Renee Zellweger, who for some inexplicable reason (temporary insanity?) decided to slip into a solid white bra beneath her sheer black gown. Huh? Another pitiful failure: Rumer Willis, who wore a badly fitting dress that looked as if it came from a yard sale (hint to Demi: please give your daughter a lesson in fashion!).

Then there’s Maggie Gyllenhaal, a lovely girl who seems to have an unfortunate fondness for fashion errors. She began 2009 with her traditional lack of style by choosing a very peculiar print that had this volcanic eruption of fabric on her shoulder. Could someone please call in the fashion police for this hapless celebrity?

Last but not least: don’t men have fashion advisors anymore? The ones on parade at the Golden Globes certainly didn’t seem to. The one exception: youthful-yet-dapper Zac Efron, who chose a sophisticated tux-and-tie combo, which surely caused more than one young girl to sigh with envy at Zac’s gal pal Vanessa Hudgens (whose gorgeous gown’s elegance matched her boyfriend’s charm).

William Balfour, Jennifer Hudson’s estranged brother-in-law, has been arrested and formally charged for the murders of Hudson’s mom, brother and little nephew. Balfour is separated from Jennifer’s sister and has a violent past. He has served prison time for car hijacking and attempted murder. He is currently in state prison due to parole violations. Balfour was taken back into police custody to be formally arrested for the Hudson family murders. According to a statement from Balfour’s attorney, he “did not commit these crimes.” Hopefully this whole situation to can be put to a rest and justice will be served so that the rest of the Hudson family can let the deceased rest in peace.

Everybody thinks that Angelina Jolie is the perfect woman. Well, after hearing Brad Pitt dish a little about Jolie, it came to light that she is missing one thing: culinary skills. According to Brad Pitt, the best thing that Angelina has ever prepared for him is “cereal.” But I guess if you are millionaires, you really don’t need cooking skills, because you can hire whatever private chef you want. The actor also goes on to say that that the couple is not shy about eating new things, although they are both really not good at cooking. They have feasted on crickets in Cambodia and goat in Ethiopia. Could you picture the perfect couple sitting there eating crickets together? It’s just hard for me to imagine.

Fans of Taylor Swift have most likely heard her song, “Hey Stephen,” off her Fearless album and know that Swift only writes about real people from her life. Certain sources say that this song is actually written about Stephen Barker Liles, who is in the country band Love and Theft. Swift and Liles met backstage at an event back in 2007, and the band has also opened shows for Taylor Swift. They never dated and according to Swift the song was written about a simple crush that she had at the time. According to Liles, they are good friends now. Maybe this will develop into more, now that the Jonas Brother is out of the way?

The most highly anticipated fashion show of the year is the red carpet at the Oscars. For designers it’s a chance to shine, and fashion week aside, the most memorable fashion moments for fashion followers in the past 20 years have been Nicole Kidman in chartreuse Dior (high point) and Bjork and her swan apparel (low point for style, high point for humor).

It’s a little early for Oscar fashion predictions, since the nominees haven’t even been announced yet, but here’s a rundown of potential nominees, and what I hope they’ll wear in February:

Anne Hathaway: Anne Hathaway is my favorite Jersey girl (she grew up two towns away from me), but she’s had a very difficult year. The wattage of her superstar smile has dimmed a bit, but surely winning an Oscar would give it a little more juice. If I were styling Anne, I’d put her in severe black Dior with a “New Look” silhouette; it would show off her alabaster skin to perfection, and John Galliano can go a long way toward helping anyone make the transition from girl to woman.

Angelina Jolie: I guess I’m into high contrast, but Ms. Jolie has the severe look down pat, so I’d like to see her sharp edges blurred a bit (anyone who’s the mom to six kids and counting has to be a marshmallow at the core). I envision her in a 1930s-inspired, bias-cut satin Verrier gown (Ashleigh Verrier, protégé to Tim Gunn and one of New York’s hottest young designers) in a pale celadon.

Kate Winslet: She’s been seen at the Oscars in Badgley Mischka before to great acclaim, but in my opinion, the color could use a little tweaking … Badgley Mischka, yes. Periwinkle, not so much. I’d love to see her in a soft cinnamon with a neckline that shows off her amazing shoulders.

Amy Adams: Amy Adams has that all-American look about her, which is why I’d dress her in “America’s Favorite Designer,” Ralph Lauren . There’s a beautiful champagne satin party dress in his Black Label line that would look amazing with her coloring, but it’s only knee-length. Surely she could make an impact this way by standing out.
