On April 13^th and 14^th, Lacoste took to the desert once again to celebrate the first weekend of the year’s most stylish music fest with a star-studded pool party. With celebs like Alexa Chung, Elijah Wood, Katy Perry, Danny Masterson, Alessandra Ambrosio, Joe & Nick Jonas and more, this desert party was definitely the one to see and be seen!

The party was held at a breathtaking private estate in Thermal, California-- conveniently located within walking distance from the Empire Polo Field, making it the perfect destination for music-obsessed fans to escape the hot and dusty crowds.  Music-loving tastemakers and influencers were invited to make a splash in the pool, enjoy a cocktail, treat themselves to a mani-pedi or dance in the desert sun.  DJs rocked the dance floor with Samsung’s superior performance Giga Sound System.  

Guests also got to do a little shopping at their high-tech LACOSTE L!VE Pop-Up shop where they received a sweet 40% off discount along with an exclusive shopping experience and a special gift.

Prince William and girlfriend Katie Middleton are rumored to be getting married this summer, and reporters are stating that Prince William may propose after he turns 28 this June 21. Star Magazine reports that the wedding will cost up to $40 million, and Kate Middleton has already signed a confidentiality agreement with the Royals to ensure that she won't spill any details about her relationship with Prince William, and the wedding, to the press or anyone else.

According to The Sunday Express, there are rumors that the couple plans to marry in 2012 to coincide with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Others believe that the couple won't be exchanging vows until 2013. Star magazine's senior editor Suzanne Rozdeba says that Katie Middleton has already ordered a dress that cost $200,000. The wedding celebration is expected to be a momentous occasion, and will likely attract over 3 billion viewers, according to ShowBizSpy.com.

Prince William and Katie Middleton have been a couple since 2003, after meeting as students at Scotland's University of St. Andrews. The prince went on to pursue a military career at the Royal Navy, while Katie held down a job after graduating from Scotland's University of St. Andrews.

The couple encountered a rough patch recently after the paparazzi managed to track them down on a family vacation. According to The Daily Beast, the engagement was supposed to be announced on June 3 or June 4 but was postponed because Prince William believed that Katie may have shared her whereabouts with someone, and the paparazzi caught wind of the family's location.

A photographer managed to snap a few pictures of Katie playing tennis with her brother and sister on the Manor court, and even though the pictures were never released to the press, Prince William had enough cause to sue because Katie had been on a private vacation on a communal court. She was awarded $7,129 in damages and promptly donated it to charity.

Still, William believed that someone in Katie's family or social circle may have been tipping off reporters and photographers, because the paparazzi continued to track down the couple.

Even though Ashton Kutcher has made social media headlines by being the leader of the celebrities-on-Twitter trend, he is no longer the most-followed Twitter celebrity. Britney Spears has become the first person to break the 5 million follower mark on Twitter as of May 29, 2010, surpassing Ashton Kutcher as the social networking site's most popular Twitterholic.

Britney has recently been posting updates about her favorite songs and upcoming music. As of the afternoon of May 29, 2010, Britney had collected a legion of 5,015,346 followers, while Ashton Kutcher trailed behind with 4,982,734 followers, reports AccessHollywood.com. It's important to note that Britney doesn't post all of her own tweets -- some of the tweets are posted by Britney's management team.

Twitter now boasts millions of users, and those who want to keep up with the latest news updates about their favorite celebrity can track them down with a basic Twitter search. However, there are also a number of fake accounts that make it difficult to determine if the Twitter account is really a celebrity imposter. In a battle worthy of any Micheal Bay film, the fight for Megan Fox's vacated role has been settled. Heidi Montag had been publicly auditioning herself for the role. Instead, fans of "The Transformers" will see model-turned-actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley go from Victoria's Secret runway angel to front girl in one of the biggest movie trilogies. Meanwhile, Megan Fox has been badmouthing director Michael Bay, despite PR statements that her departure was amicable.

Which beaches do top celebrities prefer? Halle Berry was spotted on the shores of Miami, wearing a bikini as blue as the Miami ocean. Thank Lady Gaga (who can thank Madonna, who can thank Tina Turner) for the singers-without-pants trend. Beyonce, Christina Aguilera and now 17-year-old Miley Cyrus have all hit the stage with leotard-like outfits, heels and no pants. Celine Dion: Twins!

Celine Dion, 42, is happy to announce that she is pregnant with twins. This time around, Celine Dion's IVF took and she's hoping for the best after suffering a previous miscarriage. She has passed the three-month mark and is doing everything she can to have a healthy pregnancy. Dion currently has a 9-year-old son, Rene-Charles.

Was there something in the water last winter and this past spring? Because, damn, lots of celebs are pregnant or rumored to be pregnant. Of course some
are more obvious than others. Nicole Richie seems to have settled into impending motherhood better than expected. A glowing Cate Blanchett happily confirmed that she was in the early stages of her third pregnancy.

But some celebs aren’t ready to confirm what we all know to be true. There have continued to be denials and slips of the tongue — her own mother speaking about twins and Roberto Cavalli publicly announcing last week that she had special needs &mdash and J. Lo’s ever-increasing baby bump has still not been confirmed that it is, in fact, a baby bump (come on, we know Jenny from the Block wouldn’t let herself go). At least a very happy Halle Berry is ecstatic —and vocal! — about her baby she’s expecting with her gorgeous Calvin Klein model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. That’ll be a baby whose looks will rival the Jolie-Pitts newcomer(s?). Diaper bag, anyone?
